Why Chosen Ones Are Broke...!

Inanutshell -
A “Restoration”…”Renewing”…
comes AFTER A Destruction.
* Regarding Humans;
* It is The Transforming, OF the WHOLE of a man; (ie. BODY, SOUL, SPIRIT);
* BY the Grace, Order, Way, Power and Authority of God…Creator AND “Maker.”

A human body….must Die, ie. (cease having natural LIFE,) from a mans seed.

A soul in a human body…must be restored “Back to; Very Good”. (Ie. Saved)

A natural human spirit (ie truth in the heart)… must be circumcised…replaced with a new heart, new Seed, (ie. Gods SEED), to birth a new SPIRIT;
(Ie. Born Again /Quickened)
To thereafter; receive the “Spirit of Gods Truth”, WITH and IN the mans new spirit.

Glory to God,
Taken

Paul even said he was instructed to be both full and hungry

Phil 4:12-13 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Similarly, it shows they were instructed to be in hunger in Deut 8:2-3

1 Ti 6:6-8 But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

People are broken. This is true no matter who you look to. Some are more broken than others. Some has brokenness that is better hidden. We all wear social masks.

How are you?
Great.

Its because us Chosen Christians do not esteem the wealth of this world we don't belong to. You cannot glorify Christ through wealth you did not struggle to achieve. God does raise some believers to be givers. They are blessed with good jobs and are the financial pillars in churches. Without them most churches cannot survive. I knew a Christian years ago that would only work a minimum wage job and relied on God for meeting his needs.

I've had it both ways in life. A life of plenty and a life of hunger. It goes up and down, lol. I know how to get by on next to nothing...and I know how to waste money, lol. When I think about how much money I went through when I was married...it astounds me!

I have figured out late in life that, one really can live on this earth without any money. I used to think ,omey was everything, lol.

Great.

No one should be discouraged by financial hardship though. If you look around you at people you know you can tell that while everyone is in hardship for the most part, the only people who really miss meals and get their lights shut off and stuff are all druggies or drunks.

I thought about it and have come to the conclusion that, there is a lot of security in poverty. Poverty keeps one clinging to the Lord Jesus! SO therein is the security. used to think being retired would be fun, ha! It seems more like being on public assistance, lol.

So though I sit in poverty, I grow rich in the word of God...!

I think God allows everyone to be givers as is illustrated in the old lady with 2 mites story. It was counted unto her to have given more than rich men who's donation was a larger cash amount. But they gave from their excess and the old lady gave from her sustenance (her grocery money!) so she a more giving heart than the rich man.

So even though I only draw a retirement check from the government I still have been able to consistently pay tithes and an offering each month.

Now maybe I can't afford to do that and maybe...I can't afford not to!

Myself as well. I do think also that each place we might be instructed in can also provide opportunities in showing mercy. Or the giving and receiving between brethren. Where one might be in need another (instructed in plenty) can provide the need of the other. Then visa versa, when the other (who has plenty) is instructed to be in need the other can help them too. Just the opportunity that this also presents between brethren.

Tithing is not in the New Testament. Giving is in the New Testament. Jesus also said give so that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. So a church keeping giving records is not following Jesus' words.

Yeah but it says that God doesn't change and scripture did say to test him with tithing so I concluded that it would still help people and please the Lord at the same time. But when I think about that guy that had one talent from the Lord and buried it without doing anything with it and so got cast into outer darkness, whereas the lady who put two mites in the plate to help someone was rewarded and wasn't cast into outer darkness! So we have to help people, it is how people live.

You make a good point that the 10% tithe is not in effect anymore, But! Jesus paid the price in full, so He owns it all now! But I just use 10% as a guideline for myself when I help people every month.

My truck doesn't reliably start in the winter so I don't go to church very often hereso I just give it to the poor on the street or someone else's ministry since I don't really have one. And with Jesus having paid the price and bought us now...it isn't 10% any more! He owns it all! I remember one of the last side jobs I did to fix someones furnace. They were poor and I wanted to do them a good turn in Love and obedience, but I was thinking it would be nice to cover my gas and get a few bucks out of it and still give them a smoking deal! But as I was driving back to the customer's house I couldn't decide how much I was going to charge them, so I prayed about it and asked the Lord. Lord, how much should I charge this guy? And the Lord answered me immediately snd said, I thought you gave your life to me? SO I said, yes I did. And He said then that's my business, don't charge them anything...I heard it plain as day. So it aint 10% no more, He owns it all.

I have come to the conclusion that, He has taken care of me my entire life, just like a sparrow! Not only did He give me the talent to fix things, but He gave me all the tools as well. On top of all that He created opportunities for me to get Customers. I have always tried to do the right thing, except in my youth, lol. So He Blessed me and took care of me. (And all that time I was in Business for myself, I had the big head because, I thought it was me! It's hilarious now, lol.

When I was tithing at first it was behind my Wife's back. I'd cash the checks and stop by a church on my way home. They had drop boxes all over the place. It worked great! She never knew it, lol! You know how wives are. She start an argument if I wanted to put a buck in the church plate! So my left hand didn't have a need to know that I started paying tithes! She was weird, she'd get mad over one dollar in the church plate but she did have a good heart for helping people on the street?
