Time for yet another Bible and Linguistics Lesson . . .

Acts 9:31 talks about how the Early Church grew throughout the region. The language used here describes the Catholic Church:
“Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced peace and thus was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, the church increased in numbers.”

According to Strong’s Greek Concordance – which is used by Protestants AND Catholics alike – the verse is translated as:
“The true Church throughout all Judea . . .”

Here is the phrase in Greek:
η μεν ουν εκκλησια καθ ολης της ιουδαιας

The Catholic Church gets its name from the GREEK for “according to the whole” and “universal” - εκκλησια καθ ολης, which is pronounced “katah-holos”.

Εκκλησια (ekklesia) - A gathering of citizens called out from their homes into some public place, an assembly; CHURCH
καθ (katah) - Through out, according to
ολης (holos) - All, whole, completely
"ekklesia Kata-holos" = CATHOLIC CHURCH.

Ignaatius uses the term:
καθολικὴ ἐκκλησία - "ekklesia Kata-holos" = CATHOLIC CHURCH.

Beyond that, the church in Rome was one of many churches throughout the Mediterranean region. Simply because the Catholic denomination became a poor copy of the Roman empire (which was responsible for murdering Jesus and destroying the temple) doesn't give it legitimacy.

Do you think that the various inquisitions, the various crusades (which committed wholesale murder), the butchery of indigenous peoples because they wouldn't succumb to your denomination's soldiers, the murder of "heretics" that disagreed with official Catholic doctrine, and recently, the wholesale sexual abuse of children, plus other abominations and cruelties throughout history, should be ignored? Your denomination is filled with actions that are contrary to the fundamental doctrines of Christ, foremost of which is love your neighbor as yourself.

When will your denomination dismount from its "high horse" of pride, arrogance, and superiority?

You can twist truth any way that you want, but that doesn't make it true. And saying "You LOSE" is absurdly childish.

Peter denied Christ three times. He was called "Satan" by Jesus, who also referred to him as "a stumbling block", intentionally contrasting him to his being called "this rock" (a reference to his statement, not his person).

Peter was the apostle to the Jews, and was called out by Paul for his hypocrisy in Galatia. James, the Lord's brother, was the leader of the early church, not Peter.

And James spoke about Simeon (not Peter) in Acts 15. Want proof? Acts 10:18, "They called out to ask whether Simon, [not Simeon] who was called Peter, was staying there." and Acts 10:32, "Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon, [not Simeon] who is called Peter; he is staying in the home of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.". Acts 11:13, "He told us how he had seen the angel standing in his house and saying, ‘Send to Joppa and bring Simon, [not Simeon] who is called Peter. Peter is never called Simeon!

Finally, Acts 15:22-23, "Then the apostles and the elders, with the consent of the whole church, [not just James] decided to choose men from among them and to send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leaders among the brothers, with the following letter: “The brothers, both the apostles and the elders, to the brothers and sisters of gentile origin in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greetings.

YOU should read scripture before falsely commenting on it.

He aint the only one . We got folks trying to promote the religoin of anti Christ amongst us my friend .
No other religoin , not atheism or anything else HONORS JESUS as THE CHRIST .

Ya know I consider myself a pretty strict Christian....but not traditional.
I fellowship with a lot different denominations.
I strongly believe a person and or family should go to church and be involved with the church activities and fellowship with Christians, whether it be picnics, Bible camp, fishing, boating, etc.
But still the way I apply my Christianity is simple.
Love God and others.
Be good and do good.
Only kick tail if you have to.

What is a christain . One who truly BELIEVES IN JESUS CHRIST .
Allow me to explain the difference between belief and truly believing .
I once had head knowledge of Christ . But i did not know him . Believing in HIM .
I had heard the gospel at the age of four . If we truly BELIEVED in CHRIST we would see HIM as CHRIST .
Not just an idea or a prayer . MORE than that . IF we truly BELIEVED in HIM we would BELIEVE as a child HIS EVERY WORD .
Abraham BELIEVED GOD . HE BELIEVED . GOD said , and abraham who believed HIM to BE GOD , DID .
A true christain SIMPLY would BELIEVE in HIM . THEY would BELIEVE HIS WORDS , they would believe the apostles words
THEY would love the truth in scripture , not twist it . I had a head knowledge once , but i still loved my flesh
i still loved my sins . I still loved my perversions of lusting after women , and many other evils i still loved .
My belief was not TRUE . GOD changed that . HE DREW ME TO THE TRUE CHRIST
where all i desired now was TRUTH . This occured many years later . YES JIM HE PUT ME IN ONE BOOK . THE BIBLE .
HE began his transformation .
My HEART was changed . Though evil was and will always be present in my flesh , MY HEART NOW HATED that evil .
UNDERSTAND this jim . UNDERSTAND THIS JIM . I was not justifying my sin any longer . I was a new man .
SURE i did not know it all , i wont either in this life . BUT even though i did not understand EVERYTHING i was reading
I LOVED IT . I COULD SUP ON IT FOR HOURS in that bible . AND NOW , though i did not KNOW YET
that some were false , I turned on TBN . I was always now left EMPTY with their speeches .
I went to churches with such a love for fellowship and wanting to find others who had this love , GOD GAVE ME , for GOD .
JIM , i was dancing when the praises to GOD were sang in churches . I was lifting hands and praising GOD .
BUT WHEN the preacher would stand and teach i was always empty inside . NOW
i didnt know why that was at First . But the more i read the more i learned . I was so fullfilled when reading the bible
yet so empty when the preachers spoke . I DID not know WHY , TILL a bit later .
SEE GOD HIMSELF had changed me . I DIDNT . AND YOU BETTER NEVER expect me to say my own flesh changed me .
I give myself ZERO credit for this . GOD put a love in my heart for one thing , HIM CHRIST THE TRUTH .
And anything that even slightly contradicted it would leave me empty . BUT NOT THE BIBLE JIM .
OH NOT THE BIBLE jim . ANY GUESSES on what THAT MIGHT BE jim . CAUSE BIBLE IS TRUTH . IT IS HIS INSPIRED WORD .
OF COURSE it IS .

as being of the devil . I mean , HEY JIM i sat in lots o churches , That didnt mean i was of the devil .

I learned and grew by the grace of GOD , i tested what men said and spoke .
yet not i , but it was the grace of GOD IN ME having me do this JIM .
ITS NOT A SIN to warn brethren to come out of such places . ITS not a sin to warn people that certain leaders
and institutions are false . ITS NOT A SIN to expose false leaders and places .
