What if you lose your faith?

I have told people who believe in OSAS that they don't know if they'll continue to believe until their faith is tested. Because it seemed to me that a lot of the boldness of those who defend OSAS have never been tested. I say that humbly. I know there may be more testing for me that may be a lot more grievous than what I've already endured, and it will only be through the grace of God that I myself will cling fast to the promise of salvation.

I believe in OSAS Because my faith has been tested and I should be dead.

Honestly my 11 years in rebellion took me to a dark place and only God could save me from it.

If I wasn't born again when I was 13 I wouldn't have survived.

When Israel BACKSLID how did God react ?
Was it a repetitive action on Israel's part ?
What was required for them to walk in God's way AGAIN ?

When someone comes to the knowledge of the truth revealed by the Spirit in them hearing the word, a choice MUST BE MADE ! The choosing is NOT just once then dusted. IT IS DAILY. You DO NOT BECOME ELITE ABOVE ALL OTHERS so that you walk above the earth in the flesh.

Jesus said unto to them this" if ones puts his hand to the PLOUGH and looks back he is unfit for the kingdom of God". Hmmm looks back WHERE? At the world of sin ,the lust of the mind, heart, and spirit, to desire it again. When that desire is conceived IT BECOMES SIN!
Now you have to choose again. Which has the greater pull on your life? Conceived sin or the love of God ?

This is the life of following God, choices, to serve God or serve yourself.

If you first REPENT with a godly sorrow at meeting Jesus and believe in your heart he is God, then confess with your mouth, then you are saved.
HOWEVER,THIS MEANS YOUR.....PAST SINS.... ARE FORGIVEN and cast away from God. It DOES NOT MEAN PRESENT NOR FUTURE SINS. WHAT A LUDICROUS TEACHING OF A LIE!!!!!
When WE SIN, then we must confess and repent of that today or tomorrow sin bc if not then it becomes a spot on us again.
NO SINNER SHALL INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD. Sin will not enter heaven.

The same quandary Israel faced daily we face too. Joshua told them will you choose the gods of the land of these ppl or will you choose The God of all. We know HIS answer.

I'm not saying in the confessing and repenting of sins that what you do is ACCEPTING SALVATION AGAIN DAILY. Unless you allow them to heap up unconfessed in your heart and life,so that your rightness with God becomes void. Then you reject the truth, God in all his fullness and turn from your faith back to the beggerly elements of th world of sin. WE CAN REJECT GOD, HIS WORD, AND HIS SPIRIT AND NEVER AGAIN RETURN TO SEEKING TO LIVE IN ETERNITY!

I have a similar testimony, but I'm not sure my outcome would have been death, but jail for sure. But the difference between me and you is it caused me to see and believe in God's faithfulness, like a Father, not OSAS. And the grace of that faithfulness draws me to him. I'm astounded by his faithfulness in situations that could have gone much worse for me than they did except for what I now see as his gracious intervention. But that doesn't speak to me of any kind of Calvinistic OSAS truth, unless you are referring to Calvin's understanding of election (an essential foundation of his doctrine of OSAS).

I know I've been 'picked' but not because God purposely designed me to be one that he would pick, but because there are things he knows about me that I don't know about myself that, in his providence, caused him to be gracious to me in my life. The bottom line is, he's knows the potential of my soil. Not that he purposely designed that potential into the soil of my heart (and didn't in others), but that it exists as a fundamental part of who I am as a person. He knows who will respond to his word, and who will not, and so his grace and mercy are measured out accordingly.

I believe personally all people will have a judgement day - which is for both, those of faith and those of not faith. Those of faith dying receiving their reward as their judgement. Those of not faith, dying and receiving their spiritual body given by God.

Well, first of all, you chose to believe what you choose to believe.

Muslims, who are devout Islamist's believe that drinking Camel urine is a good idea.
That's in the 'Quran, and probably in the Hadith.
They "believe" that, because they have been taught to believe it.

Mormons believe some crazy stuff, because someone who wears a suit, and "sounds smart", told them it was true.

Also,

God does not "reject" or "judge" His Children, in Heaven. He rewards them and welcomes them Home.

Also, this is the end result of the unbeliever "not of faith". = They are destined for Hell, then the lake of Fire. John 3:36
Revelation 20:11, is the only "heaven" they will ever know.
There is no '"new Body' waiting for a Christ Rejector.

There are no Christ Rejectors in Heaven.
There are no Born Again in Hell.

I understand. No church has the spiritual guts to obey 1 Corinthians 5 these days. Even the 'apostles' of the Catholic church reject it. I guess that's what giving apostolic spiritual license to an unaccountable body of leaders gets 'ya.
