You are promoting Galatianism. You need to read and study carefully Paul's letter to the Galatians.

Yes, once saved always saved is a lie. However, you do not lose salvation through sinning, nor by not doing enough work. We are saved by grace through faith. One can lose their salvation only by no longer believing in God, i.e., no longer having faith.
Thats just as much legalism as saying you can sin your way out.

And by the way, Saying you must be water baptized to be saved is just the same,l it says faith is not enough. I can have faith, but until I get water baptized, I am still dead in my sin.

Some interpret Born of Water = amniotic fluid...which we are Born Of water.

Born of the Spirit = The Living Witness, who makes our spirit Born Again by His Living Holy Spirit.

That’s my interpretation...others interpretations are different to mine.

Water has no supernatural powers, only The Living Holy Spirit has the power to bring our spirit from death into God’s Life!

We are Born Again by the Living Spirit, The Holy Spirit.....

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:5

Anyone that thinks Yeshua is talking about being born of a woman in this verse is a complete idiot. Moms are great but they are not connected to salvation. Cows are born of water but they are not eligible for salvation or the kingdom of God.

Usually the people that push this nonsense are people that are defiant to God and don’t believe in water baptism. They want to disregard the scriptures.

Satan says, lets see if I can confuse the process of salvation. How many people can he get to believe that water baptism is not necessary…. repentance is not necessary…..the bread and wine ritual is not necessary….
Burger King use to have a slogan….Have it your way! Well that is not how salvation works.

The water has no power!
The bread and wine has no power!
An idea in your head has no power! That would be faith.
Oh the word don’t mean that! It means what I believe!

If you are water baptized you are born of the water and you will receive the Holy Spirit. I am all for receiving the Holy Spirit….My favorite churches are the Holy Ghost churches but some of them think that you are not saved unless you speak in tongues. I have nothing against speaking in tongues but it is not a sign of salvation. Put what this topic is really about is doing anything but what the scriptures say. Some people have the spirit of defiance in them and the real question is, can they be saved.

Well that may be your opinion. But you are in error.

A false gospel must be brought down.
Unfortunately you can’t prove anyone is in error.

Therefore just like I said earlier everyone on this board can only voice their 1= opinions.
2 = testimony and 3 = belief.

Unfortunately you can’t prove anyone is in error.

That's only your opinion.

You run around the forum saying that the "bible can't save anyone", and that is because you have no respect for the word of God, or you would would not post those words.

The Reality is.. the reason we Know Who Jesus is, is because the Bible shows us.
The reason we know to Trust in Christ, is because Bible's exist to show us those WORDS., and the HOLY SPIRIT reveals those words as TRUTH.

The reason we know that "ALL who believe in Jesus shall be saved" is because a BIBLE told you that...not a dictionary, or a cereal box.

So, you have some odd ideas regarding Salvation, and you are way too vocal regarding your disrespect of the Bible.

We are spiritual children, we are led through the written word by Gods Witness the Living Holy Spirit.

See this that you just wrote?

That is you explaining how the BIBLE and the Holy Spirit, are in conjunction, working as ONE, to bring Salvation.

So, when you say that "the bible can't save anyone".........you just denied what you just wrote.

Notice..

"The Preaching of the Cross, is the Power of God, unto Salvation, for everyone who Believes".

Now....Why do they believe? Because that Gospel, that is found in a BIBLE, is being PREACHED......and then the Holy Spirit... reveals it.

See, these 2 are ONE< in that situation........as the Gospel is WORDS, and those SPIRITUAL Words given, are taken from a BIBLE and used by the Holy Spirit to bring a unbeliever into FAITH that comes by "Hearing" the words found in a BIBLE.

So, when you teach that "the bibles does not save", then you are not understanding how the Word of God, (BIBLE) has to be a part of the redemption process, or there will be no Salvation.

Maybe we should bring cows to church? They are born of water. Maybe you could start a ministry to cows or even all who are born of water!

Maybe you can prove what I’ve posted as false?

You can’t I’m afraid.

ESV Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. NIV Jesus answered, 'Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

'Born of water' refers to a physical birth, specifically being born a Jew. In John 3:5, this phrase is therefore used by Jesus to refer to the natural birth process, with 'water' referring to the amniotic fluid that surrounds the baby in the womb and is present during the birth process.

= The Living Spiritual Birth = that’s another thread.

Everyone on this thread posts what opinion is, what their testimony is, what their belief is.

Which is no more valid than anyone else’s.

To think one’s opinion/ testimony/ belief is above another.is egotistical and prideful.imo.

Also remember...we have been Born Again of imperishable seed that liveth and abideth forever?

What’s Born Again in us?....

Anyone that thinks Yeshua is talking about being born of a woman in this verse is a complete idiot.
Nice way for a christian to talk about others.

4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

1. Nicodemus asked the question. Can a person enter a mothers womb again. so in this first example. we can see WHY someone would think being of a woman is a possible context.

5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7

SO if I believe the term, that which is born of flesh is flesh is the same of being born of a woman is an IDIOT?

Or is it just the fact The Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus, One must be born agai9n (literally a second time?)

Or maybe they just are trying to push back on a self righteous false gospel of works.

Ah, so you believe bread and wine is necessary too?? wow. Where did John 6 go when you read it
If you are water baptized you are born of the water and you will receive the Holy Spirit.
False, If you are getting water baptized in order to get saved, you are trying to merit salvation. And jesus will not accept it as grace, but as works.
I am all for receiving the Holy Spirit….
Me too. The right way, Not the wrong way, which will not get you anything at all but wet

I in particular do not like churches that point to self. and what we do. and do not point to God and what he did

So you do not think cows are born of water?
Whatz to prove?
When water baptism is a common theme throughout the New Testament…..for someone to think that Christ was talking about something as serious as salvation and was referencing the Amniotic fluid involved with every mammal that it born is nutz!
Look at Nicodemus he was confused to. But Christ did not say, Hey you are right you have to be born of a woman.

In the New Testament it started out with John the Baptist.
John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. Mark 1:4

The water has no power! If not why not just sit on the river back and repent? Better yet why not just stay home and lay back in the lazyboy and repent?
The Jews did not think the water had any power either. Why water? Why didn’t John just sit with them around the campfire and tell them to repent.

The sequences of Baptism. Baptism is a ritual and it has several aspects….

The physical
You are immersed in water and the person baptizing you says… “Upon your profession of faith, I baptize you in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And you are immersed in the water. You come out of that water wet, but more than that….

The spiritual
When you come up out of the water you are sinless….referred to as born again or a new man. Nothing about your past is remembered by the Deity. You have a clean slate to start your Christian life….your Christian journey. Now after that it is said you receive the Holy Spirit.

Physiological
It is important to understand and believe that Baptism is a new beginning. That you start your life a new….born again….with a clean soul. Nothing to hold against you, so nothing that the Devil can condemn you with….And just as important, nothing to condemn yourself with. Some Christians come to the Lord with a pretty nasty past. And sometimes it is not only a matter of their sins being done away with, but them forgiving themselves. But the truth is, nothing in your past matters. Born again. All that matters is the journey ahead….your walk with Christ.

The belief in Water Baptism goes all through the New Testament and continues on with the early Christian writers.

Justin Martyr
“As many as are persuaded and believe that what we [Christians] teach and say is true, and undertake to be able to live accordingly, and instructed to pray and to entreat God with fasting, for the remission of their sins that are past, we pray and fast with them. Then they are brought by us where there is water and are regenerated in the same manner in which we were ourselves regenerated. For, in the name of God, the Father . . . and of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit [Matt. 28:19], they then receive the washing with water. For Christ also said, ‘Unless you are born again, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven’ [John 3:3]” (First Apology 61 [A.D. 151]).

Irenaeus
“‘And [Naaman] dipped himself . . . seven times in the Jordan’ [2 Kgs. 5:14]. It was not for nothing that Naaman of old, when suffering from leprosy, was purified upon his being baptized, but [this served] as an indication to us. For as we are lepers in sin, we are made clean, by means of the sacred water and the invocation of the Lord, from our old transgressions, being spiritually regenerated as newborn babes, even as the Lord has declared: ‘Except a man be born again through water and the Spirit, he shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven’” (Fragment 34 [A.D. 190]).

Tertullian
“No one can attain salvation without baptism, especially in view of the declaration of the Lord, who says, ‘Unless a man shall be born of water, he shall not have life’” (Baptism 12:1 [A.D. 203]).

Hippolytus
“The Father of immortality sent the immortal Son and Word into the world, who came to man in order to wash him with water and the Spirit; and he, begetting us again to incorruption of soul and body, breathed into us the Spirit of life, and endued us with an incorruptible panoply. If, therefore, man has become immortal, he will also be God. And if he is made God by water and the Holy Spirit after the regeneration of the laver he is found to be also joint-heir with Christ after the resurrection from the dead. Wherefore I preach to this effect: Come, all ye kindreds of the nations, to the immortality of the baptism” (Discourse on the Holy Theophany 8 [A.D. 217]).

The Recognitions of Clement
“But you will perhaps say, ‘What does the baptism of water contribute toward the worship of God?’ In the first place, because that which has pleased God is fulfilled. In the second place, because when you are regenerated and born again of water and of God, the frailty of your former birth, which you have through men, is cut off, and so . . . you shall be able to attain salvation; but otherwise it is impossible. For thus has the true prophet [Jesus] testified to us with an oath: ‘Verily, I say to you, that unless a man is born again of water . . . he shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven’” (The Recognitions of Clement 6:9 [A.D. 221]).

And none of it is about people being born of their mother.

Complicated?

Its easy,, But far to many people have no idea what it means

It means that a person who is born physically. Must be born again (literally a second time)

Its not rocket science.
