I hope you don't take my post as cynical but maybe I am a little contemptuous in the fact that I do not trust human nature nor human motivation. I have just grown to recognize the difference between Christ's Ekklesia and the Christian religious institution.

Actually, I didn't take it as cynical. And I think you made a very good point. I see the same thing, there is a difference between what the Lord builds and men have been and are building... The institution! :)

I have run into many people who share your opinion about organized religion and I am actually having a hard time understanding it, to be honest....
This is a fun thread so I should probably start another thread - I am simply interested in discussing this more - I will work on wording the title of thread. Any input you could give me will be welcome!
