Perhaps at first the Catholic Church was considered the universal church, but it quickly became an organization that began to wield way too much control over people’s lives. The true universal church (meaning ALL believers) has NEVER been limited to one organization and never will be.

I was not saved,,, and when I was young I went to the C. C.
my parents and sister and brother also. they are all gone,,,,,,,,,,
I also brought my girl friend to the C. C.
Our younger son got us out of the c.c. he wanted to use the bible.
As our C. C. did not,,,,,,,,,,,, just the prayer book.

The thing is ,,,, I was a teen back then, and got my girl friend to go also and she is still catholic.
I want to get her out of it, but do not know how.
I no longer see her or talk to her on the phone
I just write to her in letters.
and I remember back then when I was Catholic , I would not let any one speak to me about other religions.
So I am now wondering how to write to her , and keep our friendship going after 80 years..........

Now, the reason there are no Catholics in Heaven, is because there are no denominations in heaven.
1.) All denominations are man made religious products.
2.) The Body of Christ is a God/Cross/Blood of Jesus created Living Spirituality that exists as God's temple of the Holy Spirit, with each of us being a Spiritual part of the whole Body of Christ.

These 2 are NOT the Same.

So, just as you will never find a Lost Catholic in heaven, you will never find a Baptist, or a Mormon, or a Assembly of God or a Methodist, or whatever your denomination happens to be., it wont be found in Heaven.

What will be found in Heaven? God, Christ, The Host of Heaven, and All the Born Again.

Water baptism does not save anyone. It simply confirms that one is saved (justified) by grace through faith. At the same time, it has great spiritual significance for the one who has been saved. It is not to be discounted or abandoned. See Acts 10 and Acts 16.

Catholic with a capital "C" can be either a noun or an adjective.

The OP states EVERYONE.... is Catholic (adjective), not EVERYONE...is a Catholic (noun). It is using Catholic as an adjective.

According to dictionaries I have consulted there are several different definitions for Catholic, as an adjective (with or without a capital "C"). One of them mean universal.

For example:
Merriam Webster Dictionary -

1a often capitalized : of, relating to, or forming the church universal
Note the "often capitalized"

Collins Dictionary -
Catholic

That verse must be understood in the light of the whole Gospel. It shows the importance of keeping water baptism and salvation together, since all who believed were baptized immediately, or almost immediately. Study the book of Acts, and also the words of Christ in John 11:25,26 (which do not mention water baptism).

They were baptised immediately because baptism is the way Jesus gave us for salvation.
"He who believes and is baptized will be saved"
Belief + Baptism = Salvation
Not "He who believes is saved then should be baptised".

Have to say, I agree with the point of the OP, that;
Saved souls and Quickened spirits which have their place in Heaven, are not in Heaven because of any man-made Denomination association.

I do find it interesting, the banter and accusations back and forth between Catholics and Protestants...swinging both ways... but it is Often the Catholic complaining, and others onboard, wagging a finger, implying to give the Catholic a soft touch.

Eh, People who are Not-Catholic, KNOW Why.
