Epi has said that the cross was about forgiveness.
Just listen to his video-not far into it, there's no need to run to and fro looking for posts, right there in his podcast and I wonder why he is so silent and not give his disciple his "nonfactual statement"
Epi has said that the cross was about forgiveness..as the brethren kept accusing him of teaching it wasn’t..I have the post somewhere on a thread, therefore I will scan for it.
No apology from me to you, because you accused him falsely..I will find his post and post it..you also accused me of being Born Again before I was forgiven...l never said any of that...therefore you are a hypocrite in your accusations against others.
You owe behold an apologyHi Rita. The reason that the "gang" (the ones who circle around me and attack me then call me the bully...poor them) want the cross to be about forgiveness, is they that want to be justified in their carnal state.
The bible clearly teaches that the cross is about atonement, not forgiveness.![]()
@Episkopos is reading the LXX and the Apostolic Bible Polyglot-I know. You owe behold an apology
Jesus told His disciples...follow Me. He NEVER told them that He forgave them....never.
When I confronted Epi over this, he replied to my post...of course it’s about forgiveness...I am searching for his post..I owe no one an apology , because that is what Epi said on my post.
Here's the problem-@Episkopos says it is "freedom" not forgiveness, reading the LXX and Apostolic Bible Polyglot.Jesus THE Lord.... had not died on the Cross yet when he called His 12 Apostles.
Didn't you know @Episkopos .
See, Jesus was not SAVIOR yet, as He had not shed His Blood and Died on the Cross yet, to become The SAVIOR.
Notice this verse..
"Without the shedding of Blood there is no Forgiveness".... in the sense of Eternal pardon, remission...
Like this..
"Jesus is the ONE TIME Eternal Sacrifice for SIN"........so, until He died to Become that, He had not yet provided the means to become The Savior.
Now He has.... = "The Cross of Christ"..
So....He was at the beginning of his 3.5 yrs in Ministry, and chose them. = "follow me".
So, The Cross is where God's Forgiveness, through Christ, is offered., to them also.
Let me explain this to the reader, who is a bible student...
There was a Harlot, a whore, and she crawled across the stone floor, in public, on her hands and knees, sobbing... so that she could wash Jesus's feet with her tears, and dry them with her Hair...
Why did she do this?
Its because "she has been forgiven MUCH"....>Jesus Said... and the reason He didnt say....."forgiven all sin forever" is because He had not hung on The Cross and bled and died for her yet so that He could become her Eternal Forgiveness".
We in our "infancy" and "childhood" are inherently selfish and can only receive (since we are unable to give anything yet.......so it's kind of out of necessity, true? We have to receive first in order to be able to give later out of what we HAVE received)
....and then as we begin to grow and mature more we start to realize that it isn't all about us, that we need to conform to our "parents'" wishes, not the other way around. That we are God's servants, He isn't our servant. At first we may serve more out of fear, then we learn to love and serve more out of love for God and righteousness.
Yes, stubborn sins...stiff-necked sins...ego sins. These are NOT covered. Resisting the truth, resisting the Spirit. You can say this even as you do it.There is a reason why scripture says we are not to use our liberty as an occasion for the flesh..........that CONFIRMS our liberty and also that it is possible to abuse it.......and abusing it enough puts our souls in danger as other scriptures confirm. Eg, sowing to the flesh leads to destruction....and no more sacrifice for sins if you keep on wilfully sinning.
I owe him Zilch!..when I confronted Epi over the cross..he replied of course the cross is about “ forgiveness “...I’m searching for that post now.You owe behold an apology
Interesting, I wondered where he was coming up with that stuff@Episkopos is reading the LXX and the Apostolic Bible Polyglot-I know.
Psa 130:4 For [by you atonement is]. Because of your name I waited for you, O LORD.
