You don't comprehend the English too well, do you?Nothin' like good, old-fashion DENIAL in the face of incontrovertible evidence. . .

You don't comprehend the English too well, do you?Nothin' like good, old-fashion DENIAL in the face of incontrovertible evidence. . .
Precious friend, rockytopva, Excellent post. The Bible Further Confirms God's Transition From "Law Over To HIS PURE GRACE!" So, that "WHO to follow" as they "followed CHRIST," Is Extremely Abundant And Clear! Amen? Is it Peter, JAMES, Or Paul? ie:9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived THE GRACE That Was Given Unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
Appendages to the Bible aren't needed. The problem with the Bible alone is that it scuttles the many appendages men want to add.
Because we have a lot of unsaved people who don't have the Spirit in them in our midst. They are the ones that cause divisions:Soooo - if YOU guys are "right" and we're "wrong" - WHY all the factions??
The one whom the Spirit of discernment reveals is right. That's who's right. Then, perhaps YOU can tell me:
WHICH one is the Authority spoken of in Matt. 18:15-18 that settles matters between the brethren?
If a Baptist and a Calvinist have a matter to settle - WHO do they turn to?
WHICH one teaches the right doctrines??
Some Protestant denominations believe in baptismal regeneration, while others do not.
Some believe in soul-sleep, while others do not.
Some believe in the total depravity of man, while others do not.
Some believe in the Holy Trinity, while others do not.
Some believe in doctrine of “once saved, always saved”, while others do not.
Some believe in a pre-tribulation “Rapture”, while others do not.
Some believe that only those who were predestined will make it to heaven, while others do not.
Some believe that some were predestined for hell, while others do not.
Some believe in a woman’s right to choose abortion, while others do not.
Some believe that practicing homosexuality is a sin, while others do not.
Most believe in contraception, while others do not – and the list goes on.
WHO is right??
I exposed the inventing of "history".Ignoring History is not exposing a lie! LOL
We know that. What we resist is what you say constitutes the church and who you say constitutes the hierarchy within the church.Whether YOU like it or not - Jesus left us with a Church - and a hierarchy (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, John 17:20-21, 1 Thess. 5:12 , 1 Tim. 5:17, 1 Cor. 12:28).
This response is BEYOND silly.Because we have a lot of unsaved people who don't have the Spirit in them in our midst. They are the ones that cause divisions:
"These are the ones who cause divisions, who are worldly and devoid of the Spirit." Jude 1:19
And they will remain among us until the harvest (now that the Catholic and Protestant churches have stopped killing them, lol):
"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom every cause of sin and all who practice lawlessness." Matthew 13:41Until then, those who can see can not be led astray by someone who can't see. See?
“Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by its roots. Disregard them! They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” Matthew 15:13-14
Of the things that God has revealed, and which matter, yes.Sooooo, you're telling me that ALL Protestants believe in the EXACT SAME doctrine - except for those "unsaved" ones who are causing all the division??
Ahhhh - so the Church was leaderless until the 16th century??We know that. What we resist is what you say constitutes the church and who you say constitutes the hierarchy within the church.
Sooooo - God doesn't care about the differences I laid out in post #237??Of the things that God has revealed, and which matter, yes.
In other words - YOU don't have a CLUE.The one whom the Spirit of discernment reveals is right. That's who's right.
"You, however, have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth." 1 John 2:20
"...as for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. ...just as His true and genuine anointing teaches you about all things..." 1 John 2:27
And it is the blind that follow these blind guides, not those who can see. A blind person can not lead a person who can see. Only a person who can't see. Read the verses I'm posting, please. It was the FOUNDERS of each faction that determined the doctrines.
What is it about John's words that you do not believe? In other words - YOU don't have a CLUE.
I don't know. I'd have to read your list again.Sooooo - God doesn't care about the differences I laid out in post #237??
The ekklesia has been constant and unmitigating from the 1st century, namely: born again repentant believers and followers of Jesus Christ.Ahhhh - so the Church was leaderless until the 16th century??
Is that what you're saying??
So, you're basically condemning EVERY person in EVERY Protestant denomination,And it is the blind that follow these blind guides, not those who can see. A blind person can not lead a person who can see. Only a person who can't see. Read the verses I'm posting, please.
No, lol. There have always been those believers among us who possess one or more of the five-fold ministry offices. And in my humble opinion I'll go so far as to say most of them are not in official offices of professional ministry.Ahhhh - so the Church was leaderless until the 16th century??
Is that what you're saying??
It's not John I don't believe - it's YOU.What is it about John's words that you do not believe?
