Sadly there is a group of people (I used to be one of them) that believe God will hold the church to a greater standard and gives them a greater glory and place in heaven,

I no longer believe this. I find it impossible to believe god is going to hold me higher and give me a greater place then people like king David, Moses, Abraham, or the prophets..
Oh!
We're all sinners saved by grace.
I agree with what you believe now.
There but for the grace of God go I.
I don't believe there'll be a tier system in heaven!

Amen, But thats why some think the body of Christ and the bride are different. the bride is the church in their view. not OT saints
Wow. OK. Understood.
The Body of Christ is EVERYONE, Jew and Gentile that have believed and have had faith.
In the OT persons were saved by faith ... just as in the NT.
This is the secret Paul spoke of....but only now has been revealed...the removal of the dividing wall between the two.
The acceptance of the gentiles.

There is only ONE BODY.

Thats why I sometimes hate being labelled. These people call themselves dispensationalists. SOme of them even Believe during the tribulation Israel will go back to being saved by the law (nonsense) which puts me in a position since I believe in dispensational theology

Its like OSAS.. I believe Once a person is saved they are always saved, But I do nto agree with everyone that teaches OSAS.. so it puts me at a disadvantage, people here I believe in OSAS and I am labelled.

Happily for me I don't know what a dispensationalist is.
And if someone wanted to label me.....they'd have a REALLY difficult time !
How do I find out about dispensational theology?
Send some YouTube links that you can recommend?

Dispensation theology is just a study of the relationship between God and man on this earth from creation until this earth is destroyed.

it tries to separate different ages into groups in order to help people look at a passage and help them to get historical context.

and example is the age of innocence. This is a time period between the creation of Adam until the fall.

another example is the church age. that is the current age that began at pentacost and will continue until the tribulation period begins.

Another is the age of Israel. Which includes the time from when Moses was given the law, Until the church age began.

I would need to research some pages to see what they are saying, I was taught this from when i was first saved at age 6 and have always believed it..

There must be more to it than this.
I think anyone would be able to agree that there are different periods such as the ones you mentioned.
So they give it a title, OK.

Don't bother going to deep into this ....
I think everything gets all mixed in together.
Like the Covenants....each one built on the previous one...
each one has teachings that may or may not become obsolete.
When I say THE CHURCH, I mean the general churches that people belong to.
Who knows what others may think I'm saying....
this is why I always say that it would be nice if we all spoke the same "language".
