Isaiah 9:7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace
On the throne of David and over his kingdom,
To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness
From then on and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of armies will accomplish this.

Is this a line of scripture you have read before? Ever heard before? Do you know or understand what it is about? I perhaps do not, but maybe by the spirit we can learn something.

In the very beginning, we have creation. Adam and Eve. Sin, and judgement from God, disbanding them. Before they had left, God made them some clothing more suitable for them, however, their communion was now cut off. With this God has now established the first age. An age where God works with his people by and through material notions. God made a promise with Abraham and fulfilled those promises and the material nation of Israel (Children of Israel) was blessed and cursed by God (Yahavah), if they either followed or obeyed the law. There was a time when God killed a whole family of priests for their wrongdoing. God set them up as priests, and gave the children of Israel, Kings, like David. They also made sacrifices, and were a materially based religion.

This was how God communicated for 1500 years, with the use of the Prophets, and eventually, God sent his Word down from heaven and was birth from Mary, and was from the line of David, as promised to had come from Jesse. And during this time, it was a time between the 1st age, and the beginning to the now everlasting 2nd age. See Jesus had Apostles whom he had sent out, and those Apostles held together the bride of Christ. Which the material Jerusalem so collapsed in on itself, by the Roman Military came through and obliterated everything, in 70Ad. At which I believe during this time, faithfully Yeshua had come to save these people from the wrath which was of God had come down upon the Children of Israel, and the wrapping of of the first age. We move on from this material and move forward to the spirit, or fulfilled age, where Yeshua has overcame, death, Satan and his angels, sin, and all things have been placed beneath his feet, and he now sits on the throne with his Father, as it states in revelation.

So, after all that time of God communicating with his people which he had chosen and made a nation of. He has put a complete materially based system in the dust, in the ground. Many people out there could be wanted to be seen as though they are the one whom are able to get a person to God. That is not true today. What is true though? What is truth anyway right? I mean like that is important.

Maybe it is, maybe it is not. If God communicated like this materially with that nation. How does he speak to us today? Glad you asked, in this now new age, we are lead and given the holy spirit of God, which becomes on ones own heart. You may ask yourself. Well what about people who never heard of Yeshua, or Jesus, or whatever name someone may use for Yeshua? They are able to be given then holy spirit. Anyone whom may in some religion, they can faithfully seek out God, and be given his holy spirit, and they are able to be lead, and have direct communication with God above. Didn't know that?

You first have the right to know, that God love you. No matter how messed up you may see your ownself, God is always and constantly looking at the heart of an individual. He desires to see what is there, is it things pertaining to the material aspects of life all the time, or are you looking towards him to help you overcome the things you experience by helping you with the holy spirit, to have peace, compassion, mercy, longsuffering, faithfulness, to help you in your own faith in just trusting him. You have the right to know. He is not a God whom is far away at all.

So Matthew, are we really living in the new age? Well, For myself I believe there are many people who are coming to God every day, every hour, every year, every month, because if the promise has been kept and the heavenly Kingdom is now established, and hell, death, satan, and sin are no more. There only remains one choice to believe, and that would be everyone on earth has their own subjectively lived faith towards God. Christ is in all people, similar to how the disciples had come walked up and woke up him up from the ship. He is sleeping in our vessels waiting to be woken up, and that is only by and through the resurrection, to those whom are able to get to know and understand, because we die with Christ, and are raised again with Christ, as we are born again and become a fellow member in God's family, by and through faith, and living through the spirit.

... are we really living in the new age? Well, For myself I believe (...) the heavenly Kingdom is now established, and hell, death, satan, and sin are no more. There only remains one choice to believe, and that would be everyone on earth has their own subjectively lived faith towards God. Christ is in all people...
Are you serious?

I mean no disrespect, but that doctrine is called preterism, and what we observe happening in the world completely contradicts that belief.

Isaiah 9:7 (NKJV) Of the increase of [His] government and peace [There will be] no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Hello, Matthew ... We can know that Isaiah 9:7 is referring to Christ's second coming because of the expansion of His government and the peace that pervades the entire planet. God doesn't care about time because He is revealing to us the chronological sequence of things and events that will occur. God is informing you that since He is in control, all of these things will happen. The first day of the Millennium Age, which marks the end of this Earth Age, is being discussed here. Jesus Christ will return to earth on that Day to establish His Millennium kingdom and rule from Jerusalem's throne of David.

Greetings @MatthewG...

I have a thought for you...

I think you did very well until this statement that I have quoted here.

It would seem by my experience over the last several years that..."apostasy" is here...a "falling away" from the very thing you have nicely presented...versus revival as you seem to have expressed.

Additionally...while the heavenly kingdom is in fact established and increasing since Pentecost...I am still encountering "hell, death, Satan...and sin" in this life...in multitudes of people.

So my thought is this for you...no..."hell, death, Satan...and sin"...are not yet gone. Just look at the governments of the world and those who rule in them...sin, death, theft, destruction...everywhere. Can you not see this?

Do you actually believe that a creation ruled by the Lord Yahshua would ever be allowed to look like our world today? No...the realm He rules in will be based in righteousness...holiness...peace and joy. We are not there yet friend.

Redd...:)

This scripture should always be presented when some cherry-picker wants you to believe there is the Trinity embedded in Isaiah 9:6

Notice that the Father God, the Lord of armies will ensure in eagerness that his Son, from the throne of David will sit power and run the Father's Kingdom.

And note, in Hebrew, sometime the English translated expressions ' forever' or 'forevermore' or there 'will be no end' does not me 'infinity.' It means for a 'long' time.
Beside, the Son will have to give this Kingdom back to his father some day.

And the Kingdom was established when the Son ascended into heaven.
