That is certainly “a part”of the reason, but another “part” is shown here…

Romans 11:20

King James Version

20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
That is talking about the same thing. The ones who were blinded were broken off. The kingdom of God was taken from them (Matthew 21:43-45). But, as Paul indicated in verses 14 and 23, they were not blinded permanently. Some of them later became saved.

Romans 11:14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

Romans 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Verse 2 was fulfilled in 70 ad. The rest of the chapter is future prophecy.

Since the day of the Lord the prophets foretell would come began with the first advent of Christ coming to earth a man, would you not agree that all that comes to pass from the first coming of the Lord until the last trumpet sounds includes whatsoever has come, and also what shall come throughout this age/time/day of the Lord the prophets foretell would come?

Zechariah 12 gives us some insights into events leading up to the coming of the Lord. In the world today we see a growing anti-Israel sentiment, which could lead to much bigger things; even events to watch for that will precede the coming of the Lord.

Most definitely the day of the Lord the prophets foretell includes what shall come to pass on the last day of the Lord, but it is error to believe the coming day of the Lord the prophets foretell is speaking specifically of His second coming. The prophets foresee the day of the Lord coming that would be inclusive of the entire age of grace where all mankind might call upon the name of the Lord to be saved. This time for which the prophets write as "the day of the Lord", John symbolically writes "a thousand years."

Yes. Well, technically, verse 37 does since Zechariah 12:10 is quoted there. We need to allow scripture to interpret scripture.

The context of Zechariah 12:10 is in relation to people mourning Christ's death while the context of Matthew 24:30 and Revelation 1:7 is people wailing in fear of His wrath. Seeing similar phrases in 2 different verses does not automatically mean they are directly related.

So many are without understanding because when they read the Old Covenant prophets, they can only see the day of the Lord they foretell to come as His second coming. Then to fit all the prophecies into that final day of the Lord when He comes again, they must come up with more time (one thousand years) be given this earth after the last trumpet sounds the last day of the Lord that shall come.

Think about this “but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.”

Election is God choosing. If salvation is by election then God can choose to save them all if that is what God wants to do.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.”

If they are loved by God and are of the election then who is argue against the will of God?

Just think about that. Peace

Blindness “in part”does not mean partial blindness. It just means they were “partly”made blind for a reason, and “partly”because they did not believe.

Blindness is only in part because there has always been a remnant of ethnic Israel who believe. They are the other part who are not in blindness. If this part in blindness does not turn to the Lord to be saved before the last trumpet sounds it will be too late for them to be saved. TODAY, now in this age, since the first advent of Christ is when mankind MUST be saved. Once the final trumpet sounds will be the day the Lord returns and time to be saved shall be no longer.

Right. They attribute Old Testament prophecies related to the first coming of Christ to the second coming instead because they have no understanding of spiritual things. He brought the kingdom of God spiritually at His first coming and He will bring the full manifestation of it in the new heavens and new earth at His second coming. We need to differentiate between these things, but premils do not.

The rest is future from when?
This is future prophecy….

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, Holiness Unto The Lord; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the Lord of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts.”

Think about this “but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.”

Election is God choosing. If salvation is by election then God can choose to save them all if that is what God wants to do.
That would contradict God's character of not being a respecter of persons. Of not showing favoritism in regards to salvation.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.

Explain to me why God would violate His own character to save all people of one nation but not of any other nation.

28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes.”

If they are loved by God and are of the election then who is argue against the will of God?

I believe you need to think about this more. If people have no choice in the matter of election and it's entirely up to God, then explain this:

Romans 11:20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. 22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

This doesn't look like unconditional election to me with all the conditional statements being made here. Paul said "IF God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either". That was a message to Gentile believers who had been grafted in. And then he said regarding Gentile believers "kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off". These show that their election was conditional upon them having faith and continuing to have faith or else they would "be cut off". And then in verse 23 Paul said about the blinded, broken off Israelites, "if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.". Another conditional statement about election. These should not be ignored.

What Paul was saying in verse 23 matched what he had said in verse 14. If any of the blinded Israelites did "not persist in unbelief" and put their faith in Christ, they would be grafted back in. And in verse 14 Paul said he hoped to help save "some of them" who were blinded, so I'm sure there were come who did not "persist in unbelief" and ended up being saved and grafted in again.

On the last day of the feast of tabernacles long ago, Jesus said this:

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

This is what Zechariah 14:8 is about. You need to learn to use the NT to shine light on the OT prophecies for you. You also should be careful about interpreting things too literally. The entire book of Zechariah is a mix of literal and symbolic text, so you should not assume that it's all literal.

9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
Already true.

Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, who IS the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

There are a couple major problems with seeing a future fulfillment of what is described here.

First, it's talking about being required to go up to Jerusalem to worship God.

That contradicts this:

John 4:19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” 21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.

To think that what Jesus said here will one day no longer be true makes no sense. It will always be true from now into eternity.

Another problem with seeing this as having a future fulfillment is the mention of the requirement to keep the feast of tabernacles and the reference to the "pots" and such. Taken literally and as referring to the future, that would mean animal sacrifices and offerings would be reinstated because animal sacrifices and offerings were required during the keeping of the feast of tabernacles.

But, that would contradict this:

Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. 3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. 4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. 5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: 6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. 7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. 8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second. 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

This passage indicates that the old covenant animal sacrifices performed as a requirement of the law of Moses would result in "a remembrance again made of sins every year". Those sacrifices, of course, could not take away sins. God no longer wanted those sacrifices and took no pleasure in them. So, He sent His Son Jesus who came and sacrificed Himself to take away the first (old covenant) in order to "establish the second" (new covenant). And He did that "once for all". Clearly, there would never be any need or desire for animal sacrifices again because of Christ's "once for all" sacrifice. So, to think that animal sacrifices would be reinstated again in the future contradicts scripture like this and would be a huge insult to what Christ accomplished on the cross when He did away with the old covenant animal sacrifices.

This does not address what I said. This is a cop out. What if every argument went this way. What if people just always said "Well, it's just a mystery. Only God knows.". That's what we should say any time we don't have an answer for someone's arguments? Is nothing revealed in scripture and everything is just a mystery? No. So, please address what I said and don't try to avoid it by just saying it's all a mystery. There's no mystery that God does not show favoritism in regards to salvation, so why do you believe He does?

When does the Lord come with ALL His saints????

1 Thessalonians 3:13
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

Jesus will be called the Lion of Judea and he will fight for Israel and for the holy land which is what the Antichrist will want to sit in Jesus seat and possess Gods holy land and have Gods chosen people bow before him as the ultimate insult to God.
Hope everyone's on the right side when it happens.

“Then one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals’”

“Judah, your brothers will praise you; your hand will be on the neck of your enemies; your father’s sons will bow down to you. You are a lion’s cub, Judah; you return from the prey, my son. Like a lion he crouches and lies down, like a lioness—who dares to rouse him? The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. He will tether his donkey to a vine, his colt to the choicest branch; he will wash his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes. His eyes will be darker than wine, his teeth whiter than milk”

You are way off course….
Yet, you are doing nothing to refute what I said. I can't take your comment seriously unless you actually specifically respond to what I said. Can you please address what I said in my post specifically instead of ignoring it all while trying to change the focus to a different verse? Is the context of the entire chapter determined by one verse? If so, I could claim that it's all about people believing in Christ and receiving the Holy Spirit since that is what Zechariah 14:8 is about which can be seen by comparing it to John 7:37-39.

But, we can't determine the context of the entire chapter based on only one verse. So, please address what I said about several of the verses in Zechariah 14. Once you do that then I will comment on what you said in this post. I'm not interested in a one way discussion where I'm the only one addressing the other's points and answering the other's questions.

I'm pretty sure the fulness of the Gentiles was when God was done using the gentiles to judge Israel.
No. Look at Romans 11 carefully. It's all about salvation. So, the fullness of the Gentiles relates to the time when every Gentile who will ever be saved has been saved.
