If we are led by the Spirit through the word of God we will be obeying His word
No doubt, just saying it may be that people can treat the commands found in the Gospels and Epistles the same way as the Law and the error and result may be the same.

No, when Paul argues that we are not under Law, he describes the works of the Law as that through which we come to know sin, and he then says he would not have known what it was to covet had the Law not said "thou shalt not covet", so when he comes to know sin of coveting through the Law, that means the prohibition against coveting (one of the 10) is included in that which partakers of the New Covenant are not under.Simply, what we think id not important, God made us in his Image, God said to us his choldren " be holy as I am Holy

Simply, what we think is not important, God made us in his Image, God said to us his children " be holy as I am Holy" he gave us a choice to follow the moral law or not, we have do do his will not by obligation but because we love him deeply. following the law (Moral law) as an instruction set serves no one if we do not understand why the law was given. the 10 commandments serves as a compass so we do not get lost. It is quite easy to get lost in today world.

The issue of Gentile salvation is later addressed at the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15:7-11, where Peter reaffirms that God, who knows the hearts of people, gave the Holy Spirit to the Gentiles
In Acts 15:7 Peter is referring to Acts 10:34-48

The point is not that the Law does not require spiritiual good things, just that It is not the means of service, but grace is the means, in the New Covenant--"God's righteousness apart from the Law", not our own righteousness by the Law, and the Law's righteous requirements are fulfilled in us who walk after the spirit not after the flesh (Ro 8:4).

He emphasizes that salvation comes through the grace of Jesus Christ, not through the observance of the law of Moses, and that both Jews and Gentiles are saved in the same way.
Look at what Peter preaches in Acts 10

[Act 10:43, 45 KJV] 43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. ... 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

These Gentiles heard and believed the same gospel preached by the twelve......Peter and the twelve preached the name of Jesus. not the cross

[Act 15:11 KJV] 11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

Peter is not teaching the grace of God that Paul preaches

[1Pe 1:13 KJV] 13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Peter is preaching that the nation of Israel would receive grace at the coming of Christ

[Psa 84:11 KJV] 11 For the LORD God [is] a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good [thing] will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

[Gen 39:4 KJV] 4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all [that] he had he put into his hand.

Grace can be found in the old testament

I get what you are saying but we have the word and the Holy Ghost

[Phl 2:13 KJV] 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of [his] good pleasure.

[Rom 12:2 KJV] 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Do these verses apply?

I don't at all deny these things; I also think it is a possibility that a person could be trusting in their own righteousness.

However, I don't think it is vital to your topic, so you shouldn't feel obligated to address it. I think I see that we do not agree--you have a view, and I have a view, and we probably will hold to our own views. Thanks!

I would like to know how we differ if you are so inclined

if the Holy Spirit is in you, you would follow the 10 commandments, the Moral law, also known as the covenant, do you?

Grace was found before the world was, it is of GOD who always was. yes I know this. I agree Peter and Paul did not preach the same gospel, peter was preaching HIS gospel, Peter the Gospel that he learned from Jesus himself, repentance from sin being the core of the message sin being defined by the 10 commandments that are the covenant;

Exodus 34:28 (KJV)
And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water: and he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
