We have "Star" Generals, the Germans had "Field Marshals", but either way -- the non-commissioned are always the last to know the over-all battle plans. And given operational assignments, typically one mission isn't aware of other missions in case one is compromised. The same where Classified Information is based on "Need To Know".

I've just been wondering how and why some people are so incessant on everyone taking the shot.
Its like their thinking "not my problem if someone dies, i took the shot, im fine, i took the risk, so now you have to"

So iv made this analogy.
There is a road with a high bridge that goes over a river and a group of people are standing on the edge...
"jump off the bridge" one of them says... You walk over and see that its dangerously high.
So you ask "why should i jump"
They respond "because a car might run you over if you stay on the road"
So u say "apfft i'll be fine" and continue walking
But they won't let you cross. They force you back and say "you must jump, we all did and we're fine, only a few people died, its safe and effective"

This is how insane its become...

Then they say "not only can't you cross without jumping... Your risking our lives if you don't jump cos a car might run us all over at once"
And so they physically throw you off the bridge

Does that analogy make sense? Is it comparable to whats happening? Or is the reality even more messed up than that?
