NOW we see why JOHN warned about not even bidding one godspeed who recieves NOT the gospel .
UNEQUALLY YOKED . finding common ground , DID THIS . judge not correct not , DID THIS
as the leaven was left to grow uncorrected
the peoples merged more and more together beleiving all was well and this leaven led them and now leads them
RIGHT TO THE LIE .
The gospel is being silenced through what THEY THINK IS LOVE and OF GOD .
THIS seeker friendly , all inclusive , co exist , breaking down barries , finding common ground
with this other version of love , WAS AND IS THEIR DOWNFALL .
THIS will GET WORSE sister . One even said perhaps i myself was a partaker of that which is of anti christ
JUST because i wont budge from the one gospel . THIS WILL ONLY get worse sister
and if men continue to be unequally yoked , THEY FALL .
We have got to get this people back into the bible to learn for themselves .

Just to be clear, I do not seek Christian doctrinal unity. Defined as EVERYONE surrendering to a predetermined set of beliefs.
I believe that unity comes when we accept each other no matter our differences.
That we seek to understand each other instead of rejecting those whose Christian doctrine may differ.
Which presents its own set of challenges, of course.

Having been raised Protestant Evangelical Christian, there was always this perspective
that we had it right and those outside our mindset had it wrong.

As an adult I discovered things that led me to re-evaluate that mindset.

Catholics had a completely different way of approaching Christianity.
But I couldn't deny that they had a relationship with God. Even though it dismissed
some of the core tenets of Protestantism. Things that previously led me to
the conclusion that they weren't "saved". (whatever that means)

Similarly, liberal and progressive Christianity were viewed with skepticism.
As were those with the Protestant liturgical tradition. Barely distinguishable from Catholicism.
And I had yet to encounter anyone in the Orthodox tradition. Those in groups
considered to be religious cults were another issue.

All this has led me to a rather open position about what constitutes Christianity.
How have you dealt with this issue? A broad view, or a narrow view?

Amen. That's the gospel, the preaching of JESUS the CHRIST. That's the foolishness of preaching that has POWER to save. Nothing else has power to save, certainly not the wisdom of this world and men. And it has power to offend....the offence of the cross. If someone goes around preaching Buddha or new age, people don't get offended, but the name of Jesus offends. His name has power. Jesus is a stumbling block to many, because it is foolishness to the PERISHING.....as the bible says. God's wisdom is beyond finding out, His ways are not man's ways.

Everyone could find something to disagree with in a church. I stay in the church despite my differences.
The church is doing TONS of good. I support my local church. Some really wonderful folks. Great fellowship.

Notice what paul says IS THE POWER OF GOD , THE GOSPEL , BELIEVE YE IN JESUS CHRIST .
Now lets forward to a letter he wrote to timothy and i want you to notice something .
Concerning the last days .
They shall have a form of godliness but deny THE POWER thereof . Now look at again
at what is going on right now with interfaith , CHRIST DENYING , love.
IT has a form of godliness , of good works , BUT IT SURE DO DENY THE TRUE GOSPEL OF , THE POWER OF GOD .
Here it is right in front of our faces and growing like a green bray tree .
and many now join hand in hand believing they shall attain world peace n safety .
