So says the anti-Protestant, as if it matters. :p
I'm not "anti-Protestant" because I don't make up lies about what you believe.
Shame that the same can't be said about anti-Catholics like YOU . . .

I was suspect, but now KNOW that does NOT APPLY to YOU...
But you can read, what DOES APPLY to me.

1 Cor 3:
[9] For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
[16] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
[17] If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
The discussion is about The Church. The Catholic Church OR The Methodist Church OR the Baptist Church. etc. This discussion is NOT about the Spirit that dwells in us..... Stay focused man....stay focused...

It's NOT - and it doesn't make this claim.

Scripture is CLEAR, Scripture is sufficient for Gods Knowledge.
You own a Bible. You can Read. You are no longer a Child.
You have no Excuse. Your endless speaking Against Scripture is your burden to bear.

Taken: "Have you found any Scriptural testament of Peter in Rome?"

Duh, if you studied your Bible, you'd realize that 1 Peter is written from Rome (1 Peter 5:13; cp. Rev. 17:5, 18)." Peter has the authority in behalf of the Roman church to send a circular letter to several provinces (1:1-2).

Jesus considers Himself "the cornerstone" and Peter "the rock on which I will build my church." We know this because Jesus never calls Himself "the rock" and because his foundation role for Peter is preceded by an otherwise silly reminder of Peter's name, "You are Peter." Jesus' reminder would be absurd apart from the fact that Peter's name means "Rock" and Peter's status as "the rock" is confirmed by the fact that he controls the power of the keys and the authority to bind and loose on earth with the result Peter's verdicts are bound and loosed in heaven. For example, Peter exercises this authority of the keys by presiding over the conviction and divine execution of Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-10)." What matters jn Matthew 16:16-19 for this issue is who Jesus thinks the Rock is, not what other biblical writers think.

Paul needs Barnabas to vouch for him before Peter and the other Jerusalem apostles (Acts 9:27). And though Barnabas serves as Paul's missionary companion, he defers to Peter's authority in Paul's dispute with Peter (Gal. 2:11-14). Years later, Paul needs to go to Jerusalem to seek the endorsement of Peter and James the brother of Jesus for his Gospel (1:18-2:10), though he is very defensive about the need for such deference.

@berserk
Does the Bible lie then? No, the truth has to be consistent. With all of the verses showing Jesus is the Rock, then you can easily see that He said what Peter said is the foundation of His church. One cannot be a member of God's church truly, if one does not believe the statement Peter made.

Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

1 Corinthians 10:4
And all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual Rock that followed them, and the Rock was Christ.

Deuteronomy 32:4
“The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

1 Corinthians 3:11
For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1 Samuel 2:2
“There is none holy like the Lord; there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.

1 Peter 2:6
For it stands in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

Matthew 7:24-27
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

Psalm 18:46
The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation—

Psalm 118:22
The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

Isaiah 26:4
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

Matthew 7:24
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Ephesians 2:20
Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone

@Jim B Just posting that the Bible refers to Christ as the Rock. Did I do something wrong?

Hey Scott,

In regard to your "SIXTY-FIVE collaborators" comment: When 65 Protestants agrees with The Church they are "collaborators"! What are they if they agree with YOU?

@BreadOfLife provided "65 collaborators" to back up what he was saying. How many did you provide?

Curious Mary

Well, wasn't done, and it kinda flowed with the statement that berserk was making. There is more in there now. They were talking about the Rock, and so I added those verses, and then wrote more.

Thoroughly furnished by, through, of the Lord God is most sufficient for me.
I don’t worry about you.
And that is the tradedy of Protestantism - tens of thousands of peerpetually-splintering sects that ALL decide for themselves what is "sifficient for ME" based on their individually perverted interpretations of Scripture.

What a mess . . .
LOL careful of disjointing patting yourself on the back.
HUH??

Oh, oh, “the tragedy”...LOL...says a Catholic whose rock is a dead human and whose holy father is a human <——
Accusations from the Faulty simply reveals centuries of man-made Catholic Philosophies have succeeded with you. Congrats. :( Might better review
Col 2:8. And 1 Cor 10:4

Col 2:
[8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

1 Cor 10:
[4] And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Some Protestant denominations believe in baptismal regeneration, while others do not.
Some believe in soul-sleep, while others do not.
Some believe in the total depravity of man, while others do not.
Some believe in the Holy Trinity, while others do not.
Some believe in doctrine of “once saved, always saved”, while others do not.
Some believe in a pre-tribulation “Rapture”, while others do not.
Some believe that only those who were predestined will make it to heaven, while others do not.
Some believe that some were predestined for hell, while others do not.
Some believe in a woman’s right to choose abortion, while others do not.
Some believe that practicing homosexuality is a sin, while others do not.
Most believe in contraception, while others do not – and the list goes on . . .

NOT
exact the unity that Jesus fervently prayed for (John 17:21-23).
More like self-serving factions, based on individual Scriptural perversions . . .

So what is your point? All Catholic Churches are in Unison? All the Priests are molesting little boys and using Nuns as Sex slaves, even arranging their abortions?

Christ is not the head of a perpetually-splintering gaggle of doctrinally-divided groups and millions of "Lone Ranger" agents like yourself.
He us the Head of ONE Body - ONE Church.

As for your last bit of nonsense - in your usual hypocritical stule - you never learn that the peoblem is FAR worse in your Protrdtant sects.
It's been largely eradicated in the Catholic Church . . .
