I think that delay between the time the post is posted by the poster and that 5 minute (or so) delay is throwing off some of the newer posters.
You experience a delay ? I do not. May have something to do with whatever internet service provider a person uses.
I did more in the beginning as a new user, there was a delay between me clicking "post reply" and it showing up, not sure if it still does it (I dont think so). But you can see part of the post if you go into the persons messages, and you kind of get that sense that it is on some form of delay. I have seen it with other posters, like the side bar might show someone just posted but it doesnt register on the forum when you look. I was always wondering what that was about, and I thought it had to do with the kind of moderation that was built into the forum.
This poster is doing a test, so I am wondering if they testing this thing out (like it is happening on their own end also) and cant figure it out. Because just recently another new person was claiming that someone was hiding their posts (and I guess it would appear that way to someone if they dont know of this built in delay).
So that is what I am thinking they might not be aware of this and feeling like something fishy is going on.
