Thanks H2S, I had considered it but decided I needed to work through this myself , it wasn’t just that one thing, it was a general awareness of judgements that are made here and judgements I had equally made. You know how one thing can seem like the actual issue but when you take a step back you discover it’s not.

Hi @farouk…..how have you been keeping ?
I carried on reading the sermon on the mount and the lord helped me to understand the balance of judgements. I am not sure we always ‘ judge ‘in a scriptural way, but I do understand there is a place for correction, but only if done after prayerful thought and with conviction. That’s the part I think we often get wrong, we judge based on our own personal reactions and thoughts and believe the timing is always right …when the reality is that it may not be.
Although I didn’t agree with the decision to ban a member recently I did check the forum rules and I agreed when I joined that the moderators are allowed to implement things as they wish. I think it was the judgements made about the person that bothered me as I didn’t sense the same issue, however I accept it’s happened. I needed to put a bit of distance between how I was feeling and responding.
I found I would still check in , even if I didn’t always login….guess I am hooked on this place.
My son had surgery and now has his arm in a splint, the nerve is going to take awhile to heal but he is adapting to the pain and not being able to use his right arm or hand.
It’s been a strange week…first day of a weeks holiday and I had to have a tooth extracted unexpectedly ……. So I won’t be enjoying snacks as we watch the Euros tonight …..but I should still be able to shout for England !! Lol

I seem to remember, @Rita, you posting about a visit to the dentist a few years ago also, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, that was for an abscess and I ended up having a root canal. It was the tooth next to that one that I had to have out. I never grew up with really strong teaching on proper dental hygiene, I cleaned my teeth but only once a day. I also grew up in the era of developing the NHS and dentists would make money out of fillings ……..so they would use any excuse to drill a tooth and fill it. I found out quite recently that my childhood dentist was corrupt …I wasn’t surprised.
So a combination of things have led to me having ongoing problems with my teeth. I also had sickness all through my four pregnancies, so my teeth would have been impacted by that as well. My daughter has major problems with her teeth because of the sickness in her pregnancy.
On a recent ancestry search we discovered that my dads aunt committed suicide because of problems with her teeth…she was under the hospital for some kind of issue. My mum lost all her teeth when she was pregnant with me and my twin brother ( she developed a gum infection ) …….
