I see very few women trying 1 Peter 3:1-7. Its not exactly easy. Most commands from Scripture arent. But Ive heard from women who do this and they agree that its more effective than nagging and criticizing a husband to get him to change. God can change a husband much better than we can.
Nagging and criticizing work the opposite of what the goal is.

I've seen unhealthy marriages change because one party stayed and prayed. BUT ... I've seen plenty of women stay in marriages that were abusive and pay a severe price, while their husband never changed, all the way to his death bed.

I believe there is a difference here. If there is violence .... separate, keep praying ....possibly divorce, depending on circumstances.

Many women are perfectly happy and safe not getting a credit card or bank account in their name, and do just fine because they have honorable husbands. But for women living in an abusive marriage whose life and possibly that of their children are in danger, this is a very important option to have.

Calling the police is an option. Ill trade credit card access for a better society.

That is 100% different than the previous situation. Protecting your son is what you should do. Hitting a woman who simply slapped you was not necessary. Those are 2 different situations. The woman who slapped you wasn't a threat to you, let alone your son. I do not excuse what she did. (And Idk what provoked her to slap you, either.) But you could've done much better.

I let it slide for three times, but she was getting used to it and I din want to more, so I slapped her, she asked for it.

Unless what you are suggesting is that women can be violent with no accountability but men are held to the strictest standards and can not strike a woman back who strikes him?

That's funny!

Bull. No angry protests in the streets for women in Africa who endure FGM, Female Genital Mutilation, or in the Arab world where honor killing is respected in the courts, etc.

Also, notice the sexism, the gyno-centrism? No angry protests in the streets for men who suffer inequality worldwide.
Oh, stop. As if change is supposed to happen overnight....Big EYEROLL,,...

And STOP with the whole "oh, men are at a disavantage too" crapl If you FEEL that way then how come MEN aren't marching in the streets for their OWN alleged 'rights'?

Why do guys like YOU seem to put YOUR demise on WOMEN to solve?

Thing is that SHE didn't even SLAP him....

Water in his face. And we don't even know the reason WHY.

It's not better for everyone, @Wynona. That is a blanket statement that is unverifiable being that you are God, knowing every woman's situation.

In my situation, calling police is not an option, you know that. It's not the option for 99.9% of women in my particular situation. That was a very cold thing for you to say.

Why are feminists still protesting in America?
Because EQUALITY hasn't been REACHED in America!
Is there any law on earth that everyone agrees with?
Probably not...
I don't need a credit card cause my man pays the bills and for things I like. I thank patriarchy for that.

Also, you spelled feminism wrong.
What? Patriarchy didn't give you that benefit...

And if you REALLY want to get into grammar...sista...should I point out how many grammatical errors YOU have made in this thread?
How many contextual errors?

Yeah....you don't wanna go there....

It’s like you’re on a different planet! Feminism is not about rights but entitlements.

And I’m not really a masculinist.

Worst of all, you claim to be about equality but your post here shows your rank hypocrisy and blatant gyno-centrism.

Typical abuser response....

Where in the BIBLE does it say to do that?

NO, wrong again! Feminism is about CHOICE. A woman having the CHOICE to make a living being a coal miner...or an iron worker....or any other profession SHE chooses WITHOUT some dude coming up to her, and telling her,"U"h....you belong in the kitchen and having babies..."

Sorry Wrangler, but you're so hung up on this whole "equality' thing, that you don't get what these women are talking about.

Dream HOW, and WHO is "we"?
How? Dreaming about how Trump could always strip womens voting rights by executive order, lol.

We is all the men. Oh we made a big mistake! We let women vote and look at us now, whoa.
