Answer this, if I do my marriage, the way I have said in this thread, and it’s a joyful marriage and one that is as joyful, productive and lasting as a traditional marriage that goes the distance, isn’t that a reason to be happy? Would you be joyful for us?

There are many marriages that are joyful and goes the distance .
The question is , DO THEY HEED THE LORD GOD ALL MIGHTY .
cause even if a man lived to be a thousand twice told and seems to prosper in his way
YET the man knows not , honors not , heeds not GOD . NO PROFIT .
i dont look at how the world views is successful or good .
THIS LAMB LOOKETH TO GOD and i DO Highly suggest we all pick up a bible and start learning ALL about HIM

I figured that is the answer I would get.

I do believe that the way I want to do marriage will God honoring. I’m not even sure that what we call a traditional marriage is what God truly wants for a marriage.

I will do it the way I believe God wants it to be done so to speak and if I am wrong, I am wrong. So be it.

Something very sad is occuring.
By grace i knew this was coming as was the goal of the evil ones .

I had rather fill a tub full of gasoline ,
then sit in it and take a metal sharp billow pad and scrub my skin bloody and raw

If this includes me, I haven’t failed in this relationship, so we don’t know if it is a false belief yet, do we?

Did I fail in my previous marriage? I sure did, but no matter what I did, I couldn’t make her happy. I was the traditional husband and she wasn’t happy, I was the egalitarian husband, and she wasn’t happy. Nothing, absolutely nothing made her happy. She is unhappy now with her new husband. She is just an unhappy person. Is that my fault?

I am not saying that I am without fault, as there was plenty on my end as well, but she divorced me because I couldn’t make her happy.

What happens when my new marriage thrives and succeeds and there is no failure? What happens when we as a married couple have triumph in our lives? What will you say? We you still call it a failure? Will you still say that we are hiding behind our failures?

I own up to my failures, it is the only way you can learn from them.
