Some of this new crap is still new to me. I think my generation may have been the last generation to ever be taught to get married, (Boy/Girl), she takes his surname and the kids do too. Divorce is only for if she is a cheater (or him). There wasnt any husband hopping and (liberty for the woman! No accountability any more!). Girls seemed a lot more accountable for themselves back then. They used to teach things like, honor, fidelity, dont slap the women around, Always help a damsel in distress! The new generation of kids cant even tell you what honor is. I was (somehow) taught all these things. I was married for 26 years and I never cheated on the girl. I wanted to several times when I was younger, but that teaching spoke to me. Dont defile the marriage bed. And I had plenty of chances to cheat because I was always out working in some girls house while the daddy was at work. So I had lots of chances to cheat. Many of those girls at home are cheaters. Most just "present" themselves to me and only occassionally did they actually come on to me strong and that was not so easy to do as a man, she was beautiful. I walked away trembling, lol. But my wife had never cheated on me and I knew it, so how could I do that to her? I couldnt. After awhile as I got older it got easier to walk away. I had some weird teaching in my soul by then and I see the Lables they put on men who cheat on their wives. I didnt want to be that guy. And I thought about would that be becoming for a Knight in King Arthurs day? No. One is supposed to walk with honor. I used to tell my wife about girls coming on to me but I learned there's no point in telling her id it's going to breed suspicion bugs. So I stopped.

Then she left me anyway! After all that. She left for other reasons. At first I regretted not cheating on her because she left anyway. But I'm glad it turned out this way now. I did alk with honor during my marriage. I had some honor I think.

Actually technically, I did cheat in God's eyes. Because scripture says even if I do it in my heart I am guilty of adultery, and I did that. Just not physically.

It's important to teach your kids honor in this day & age. I might got mine from reading old books about Knights & King Atrthur and all that. Stand tall, walk with honoe. Have integrity. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is looking.

Damsels in Distress, that taught me lot about women and their role in life. Roles the right way. Protected, nurtured, security, sustenance, Love, Compassion, and fidelity. Women get all this and more from a man. And all they're really expected to do is the huse work and raising kids. One day you wake up, and you have a family, and that's a wonderful thing.

so get the kids some King Arthur type bboks. Knights of the round table stuff. They have an underlying message of honor in them. You never read that Knights are a punk! That might just be where I got some of that.

That's a very good article.
I am aware of these false accusing voices, but do a pretty good job of maintaining my self-confidence. (within reason)

I probably haven't got too many years left. And she needs to be more self-reliant.
I stay out of discussions that I may have engaged in, or led previously. If they want my opinion, they'll ask for it.

I tell my wife how awesome she is. But I don't get much of anything in return. She basically disagrees with everything I say.

It may be that she can't fully receive praise for being awesome when she and you both know things are not the best they could be.

It may appear that she just prefers things to be as they are. But its likely that she isn't happy, since she's complaining.

My husband would likely say that women can tell when they're being placated. They want someone who will engage in conflict and not give up. Is this fair? Not always. But I agree that we as women are not truly happy in situations when a man outwardly goes along but is really miserable on the inside. No one really wins in that scenario.

I see myself as very busy but in a very forgiving way. Nothing will fall apart if I take a morning off or even feel fatigued for two months of my pregnancy! The things I do help the household tremendously but its not the end of the world to pace myself.

Modesty is a beautiful way to display confidence in Christ. Adam and Eve tried to sew leaves for clothing but were clothed by God Himself with animal skins (Genesis 3:21). That means animals were sacrificed to cover their nakedness which they were now ashamed of.

We have a better sacrifice now in Jesus' crucifixion (Hebrews 9:23). His blood covers our sin if we continue to walk in the light (1 John 1:7).

This is why it's wrong to be overly exposed even at pools and beaches. It's more important to represent Christ than hog glory and attention for the ways our bodies look.

Feminism is an evil ideology that goes again human nature. For men, we don't want to compete with women for it is inherenly emasculating. If we win, we get the respect of beating a girl. If we lose, we get the respect of losing to a girl.

My dear wife points out that we were not made to compete but to cooperate. For women's nature is hypergamous, to marry above her station. Woman's nature is not to marry one's equal. Some studies show women prefer men who make at least 50% more than they do - no matter what the income level is of the woman.

Rather than elevate women, feminism has lowered women to man's baser instincts. "Run through" is a term referring to studies that show why certain women are unable to pair bond. The test of time has shown feminism to be a failure @BlessedPeace. After 1/2 a century, women are less happy than before. Many women are not merely unhappy but extremely bitter and resentful. Some feminists deflect any and all criticism for this evil ideology as if it is hatred toward women.

It's killed more females than anything besides heart disease. This implies violence against women is OK as long as it is done by other women. And this shows the double standards of feminism. Feminists want equality, except for when they don't. I wonder what it would take for women to realize the ideology ought to be put on the trash heap of history - by women?
