In my flesh I have sinned many times since it is not yet saved until it is raised on the last day. However, in my spirit essence and born again state, I DO NOT SIN! Hence....

1 John 3:9 reads:

I was giving my opinion in the Word. We cannot be of sinless perfection, bc the flesh still has the ability to commit sin. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

The truth is Jesus can take away your sin nature and give you His Spirit. Then you are NOT in the flesh as you believe, but in the Spirit. When you believe the fact, then you will be victorious. But if you believe a lie, that is what you will do. Pretty silly when you think about it. That is why criminals keep going back to jail - they've been institutionalized.

He does not say to his Father, "hey, he needs a raise" etc.

Why don't you folks stop quibbling among yourselves about willful and accidental sins!!! You folks sound like the denomination that speaks about mortal and venial sins. As if one sin is greater than the other.

Read the Scripture for there it speaks of ONLY ONE sin that can put you to hell. "The wages of sin (singular) is death!" We read. In other words, God is saying a sin is a sin whether it's a big lie or a white lie!

The singular sin that God takes away from us is the SIN NATURE, the source of sin. That is why it is singular. It is not a particular sin, but the domination of Satan over your life that is taken away so that we can now partake of the divine nature of God, and he cannot touch us. 1 John 3:5-9, 1 John 5:18.
