Poll: Bondservant conversation-starter ear piercing a good idea?

I have a gold wedding band that has engraved on it: "✝JESUS✝. I do wear it on my left hand, when asked about my "husband"...I just say something like 'I am betrothed to the King of the universe' I get some confused looks, lol...but needless to say, it has opened some conversation, not lot's but...some :)

P.S.
Depending on who I am speaking with, I might quip with something like 'and nobody messes with The Kings beloved! Lol.

@Nancy ....and so you can see how, similarly, the new appearance of a guy's ear piercing can for some, motivated Christian men, become a useful lead in for a witness conversation... :)

On the one hand it can be entirely a matter of personal preference and custom, nothing to do with the Bible, as with this young man:

My mom took me to get one ear pierced when I was about twelve. .. I didn't even know what was happening when she told me we were going to the mall. It was just me and Mom .. we shared a special time together. .. Later I ended up getting the other side done to even things out. .. I still wear earrings always and remember getting the piercing. .. no reason to deny it.

On the other hand, it can also be used as an ideal opportunity to prompt asking ppl, if when they first notice they comment, the Christian guy can immediately say: "Did you know it's also in the Bible?..."

Some Christian young men (or older) would think it can be an ideal opportunity, anyway. (So you see how for a guy it can work?)

@April_Rose It's so widespread, but a Biblical meaning and reference can sort of fade in and out, depending on the person who might wish to use it..., if you see?

once upon a time I was legalistic with tatoo's, piercing etc.....

not anymore but its not for me and I do not condemn others who think differently since it has nothing to do with ones salvation.
