Do all believers receive the same spirit?

If that is so, what does that spirit cause?

To obtain that spirit must you believe all the bible?

If you do not have to believe in all the bible to receive the holy spirit, how do you obtain it? Who gives it? Where does it come from?

Thoughts?

All TRUE believers receive the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

Reading the entire Bible in order to believe it all is a work. But faith does come by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

To receive the Spirit you must by integrity of heart be honest with yourself that you are a helpless sinner and put your trust in Jesus and ask Him to change your heart. That changing of heart is what Jesus does in response to your integrity of heart called repentance. Jesus places His sinless powerful Spirit inside you and you are instantly born again with a new nature and powerfully sensitized conscience that wants to obey the laws of God written on our new nature. The thirst for the word of God is never-ending and you will want to devour and believe the Word of God.

It is an experience you will never forget. It is not some imputed non-experiencial receiving of the righteousness Christ as a covering that many believe, but you remain the same, and strive to be better over your lifetime. Jesus doesn't know them.

1) Yes, the Holy Spirit.
2) Salvation, the fruits of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, adoption as children of God, divinization, and so on.
3) You must believe God, for Abraham received the Spirit and King David received the Spirit even before all or any of the Scriptures were written.
4) It comes from God, it is a gift from Him that is given without merit and we can not labor to earn it. People receive this gift in faith and love of God, to the best of their knowledge and what was given to them.

What does spirit mean to you Taken?

A bit in-depth.

~ In general an "unseen" entity.
~ Created or Not Created
~ A particular attribute of power/ability
~ Can BE a spirit, Can HAVE a spirit, or both.
~ Spiritual Spirit, has Life that never ceases.

Pertaining to God -
~ God IS a Spirit and HAS a Spirit., with specific attributes, for specific purposes.
~ Gods Spirit is Not Created, no beginning, no ending.
~ Gods Spirit is Gods Life.
~ Gods Spirit is Supreme Perfection, Holy.
~ Gods Spirit is Gods Supreme Power.
~ Gods Spirit CAN be expressly WITH a man.
~ Gods Spirit CAN be expressly WITHIN a man.
~ Gods Spirit CAN be expressly Neither; With or Within a man.

Pertaining to Angels - Celestial beings
~ Are Created entities.
~ Have forms, body's,
~ Are not subject to a "physical" death.
~ Were created with particular powers, authorities, knowledge greater than mankind.
~ Were created with Freewill.
~ Were created holy, but may fall from holiness.
~ Their first estate is Heaven.
~ Their intent of creation was to Serve God.

Pertaining to Mankind - Terrestrial beings
~ Are Created from dust of the Earth by the hand of God.
~ Are Made Alive by the Breath of God.
~ It's natural Body's Life, is it's Blood.
~ It's spiritual soul's Life, is Gods Breath.
~ It's natural spirit is it's "truth" in it's Heart.
~ It's natural mind functions to receive knowledge, cognitively, logically weigh and reason the knowledge to beleive it or not.

The mans, body, soul, spirit, mind, organs, bones, thoughts, words, etc. are ALL the Same one man, identified by the Same Name.

All natural Body's ARE subject to Physical Death. Blood stops flowing, pumping the Heart, Physical Life ceases.

All "Living souls" and the Life IN the soul...ALL belong to God (yet called by a mans Name).
Living Souls having ENTERED a mans body, SHALL Depart a man Body, When that mans body Ceases it (blood life).
Departed Living Souls...are either "escorted" to Heaven, by one of Gods Servant holy Angels....
Or
A Departed Living Soul...may be sent to Hell.
...Where a Departed Living Soul GOES...IS fully dependant on whether or not, that soul was IN Standing WITH God/IN Christ, (called SAVED) while it WAS in the mans body, or IN Standing AGAINST God/ Christ, (called unSaved) while it WAS in the mans body.
....Heaven or Hell...Are "waiting" places, for Judgement day.
....A living soul being MADE "saved" is according to the Order and Way, as Scripture reveals.

A mans "natural" spirit- regardless of what his MIND thinks, believes, concocts, ponders, decides, be it truthful, honest, or devious, lying, deceitful .... The mans "natural" spirit, in his Heart, ALWAYS, KNOWS his Truth.

A mans thoughts (spirit) in his 'Heart" may be in agreement with his "minds thoughts", or may be in disagreement with his "minds" thoughts...(called internal conflict).
A man may ACT on either thoughts...his natural spirit or his natural mind.

Do all believers receive the same spirit?

Gods Spirit has different attributes, (but the same One Spirit)

"A" believer, "receives" Gods Spirit....
WITH him.

"A" converted believer, "receives" Gods Spirit of Truth...With and IN the mans new heart.

If that is so, what does that spirit cause?

THAT Spirit, "with" a man, "causes" that man to "receive" measures of Gods gift of Faith....AND "experience" Blessing from God.
(Called Tasting)..

To obtain that spirit must you believe all the bible?

Many people do not KNOW all the Bible to even consider that question.

If you do not have to believe in all the bible to receive the holy spirit, how do you obtain it? Who gives it? Where does it come from?

There is an Order and Way...
It begins with HEARING the Word of God.
Consider the HEARING....
Consider the THOUGHTS...in ones MIND or in ones SPIRIT (in your heart).
* People are individuals...IS the person HEARING...being force to Hear? Totally Uninterested? Hearing but not Listening? Is the person just curious? Is the person genuinely hearing, listening, verifying?

Simply Hearing the Word of God, God gifts that person with Measures of Faith...(called Tasting, called God Spirit WITH them)...
What that person DOES with that gift of Faith, is of his own Freewill to choose....
Believe it, Ignore it, Challenge it, Reject it, Embrace it, Continue Hearing, or Choose to Hear no more.

A man who chooses to Continue Hearing, Continues receiving Gods Gift of Faith Increases.
It is the Increases, that prepares a man to Freely Decide to "Become Made Converted", by the Power of God.

The man desiring to become Made Converted;
Does so by his "heartful" (ie natural spirits) Confession of Belief In God and Christ Jesus.

Thereafter, the Lord "works" a list of things, WITH-IN that person. (One thing specific to your OP, ) is that mans "natural spirit", becomes Born Again of Gods Seed, thus becoming a "spiritual spirit"...that IS no longer subject to a "physical death"....Nor can that "spiritual spirit", EVER again, stand against the Lord God, IN Disbelief.

Glory to God,
Taken

<<<Do all believers receive the same spirit?>>>

All true believers are in-dwelt by the Holy Spirit, who is God.

<<<If that is so, what does that spirit cause?>>>

The Holy Spirit, being God, causes all things that is for the good of the true believers, and is the giver of spiritual gifts and power to the true believers, according to the counsel of His will, and sealed the true believers for the day of redemption, and is the guarantee of their inheritance.

<<<To obtain that spirit must you believe all the bible?>>>

One does not obtain God nor God is obtained.

To believe all the bible requires knowledge and understanding of all that is written there.

What the apostles preached is God and Him whom He sent, the Savior, Jesus Christ. God promised to send the Holy Spirit and dwell in him who repents towards God and believe/trust in Him whom He sent, Jesus Christ.

<<<If you do not have to believe in all the bible to receive the holy spirit, how do you obtain it? Who gives it? Where does it come from?>>>

The Holy Spirit is not something obtained. He is God.

As the Father freely gave the Son, He freely gives the Holy Spirit.

As the Son came from Heaven, the Holy Spirit comes from Heaven.

It needs that one knows and have desire for righteousness to hunger and thirst for it.

It needs that one knows about and have desire for the Holy Spirit to ask for it.

It needs that one knows about and have faith and love for the heavenly Father to ask something from Him.

Just saying.

There is one God. He communicates with each of us. You can find his teachings in the Bible - he (and Jesus) are quoted many times. There is much other good information in the Bible, but I don't believe in Bible-worship.

Interesting questions.
However:
First I would Identify "what" a "spirit" is.

Taken,

God the Holy Spirit is a Person
Like the Father and the Son, the Holy Spirit had attributes of personhood. ‘He’ was not an impersonal ‘it’.

John 14:26 demonstrates the Holy Spirit ‘reminds’ and teaches: ‘But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you’.

Ephesians 4:30 expresses the feelings of the Holy Spirit: ‘And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption’. Also, ‘and so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven’ (Matt 12:31). The Spirit can be insulted: ‘So think how much more punishment people deserve who show their hate for the Son of God—people who show they have no respect for the blood sacrifice that began the new agreement and once made them holy or who insult the Spirit of God’s grace’ (Heb 11:29 ERV).

This is another dimension of the Holy Spirit’s feelings: ‘Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers’ (Acts 9:31).

1 Corinthians 12:11 demonstrates that the Holy Spirit has a will to dispense the gifts: ‘It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have’ (NLT).

John 16:13 refers to the ‘Spirit of truth’ with the Greek masculine, ekeinos, i.e. ‘He’ and not ‘it’, although pneuma (Spirit) is neuter gender: ‘But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come’ (NIV)

The Person of the Holy Spirit has the attributes of being a ‘he’ who guides, speaks and hears.

There is more NT evidence that the Spirit ‘searches, knows, speaks, testifies, reveals, convinces, commands, strives, moves, helps, guides, creates, recreates, sanctifies, inspires, intercedes, orders the affairs of the church, and performs miracles (see Gen 6:3; Luke 12:12; John 3:8; 16:7-8; Acts 8:29; Rom 8:26; 1 Cor 2:11; Eph 4:30; 2 Peter 1:21, etc’.

@OzSpen I thought of Ephesians 4.30 also, showing that One Who can be grieved has the attributes of Personality.

All believers receive the Holy Spirit from God.

If that is so, what does that spirit cause?
The Holy Spirit makes us holy! He cleanses and transforms our hearts, gradually making us more like Jesus Christ.
He produces the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc - Galatians 5:22,23) in our lives.
He gives us supernatural gifts to enable us to help other believers and glorify Jesus.

To obtain that spirit must you believe all the bible?
To receive the Holy Spirit you must believe that Jesus is the Son of God - and commit yourself to Him as your Lord. No other qualifications necessary. People were receiving the Holy Spirit before the New Testament was written, and still today many people become Christians without having access to a Bible.

If you do not have to believe in all the bible to receive the holy spirit, how do you obtain it? Who gives it? Where does it come from?
You receive Him by believing in Jesus. It is Jesus who gives us the Spirit.
