The Apostle Paul, makes it "very clear" that the Responsibility to remain in God is our own.
Romans 11:
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
The key portion of Verse 22 sums it up pretty clear : provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
So, if someone claims that OSAS is Biblical, it is, ONLY, IF, we REMAIN/ABIDE in Christ.
Hello GodisSpirit,
That right there, is a very good verse from the letter of Romans, it definitely makes it explicitly known that all people are responsible form themselves and their choice of whether or not they desire to do the will of God or not.
John 7:17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
It is all about the heart, and as Paul had talked previous about the struggle of the flesh and desire to do the work of God - it seems today, people who are willingly that is what is important to God, who is looked towards in faith.
