So all we have to believe is the Lord is longsuffering to go to heaven?Peter says account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation;

So this is the gospel you believeIn verse 15, Peter is admitting that Paul received wisdom (mystery) that he didn't, and Paul's account of Jesus's salvation (gospel) is correct. In verse 16, Peter says Paul's epistles contain these mystery's. The result is Peter working with Paul in Antioch and Ephesus and Rome.
So all we have to believe is the Lord is longsuffering to go to heaven?
Rom.2Reread that
2Pet 3
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
[15] And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
I am not being antagonistic here just nailing down the gospelthat all should come to repentance.
[15] And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation;
This is the context of 2 PeterIn verse 15, Peter is admitting that Paul received wisdom (mystery) that he didn't, and Paul's account of Jesus's salvation (gospel) is correct. In verse 16, Peter says Paul's epistles contain these mystery's. The result is Peter working with Paul in Antioch and Ephesus and Rome.
True but thats not the gospelThe gospel of our salvation heavily relies on the longsuffering of the Lord in other words, you know, that "somethin somethin" between a holy God and sinners
....
Is that Michael Jackson Hahayou know, that "somethin somethin"
There is the gospel in that accounting as Peter speaks of, he tells us that the Lord is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And he is the one who tells us to account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvationTrue but thats not the gospel
Longsuffering to Paul shows the pattern for our salvation in that we are all sinners saved freely by the bloodThere is the gospel in that accounting as Peter speaks of, he tells us that the Lord is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. And he is the one who tells us to account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation
You cannot see gospel in a longsuffering God full of mercy who forgives sin
The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression
Or anything in Paul's preaching or life consistant with that same longsuffering?
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Peter did speak of those who wrest with these things too

PS I was not making fun of you with the Michael Jackson reference...just wanted to lighten up...what popped in my head
Here is the gospel I believeAll Apostles preached salvation by Jesus alone.
Paul was simply one amoung many
Paul declared baptism as part of one's salvationThis was not the gospel Paul preached
Paul preached
[1Co 15:1, 3-4 KJV] 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; ... 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Peter and the disciples preached faith in the name of Christ...believing he was Christ. Son of God
[Act 4:12 KJV] 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
[Jhn 20:31 KJV] 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Maybe Paul got it from peter!!!Reread that

The same gospel the devil believes.Here is the gospel I believe
THE GOSPEL
[1Co 1:17 KJV] 17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.Paul declared baptism as part of one's salvation
[1Co 12:13 KJV] 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
