Unfortunately, it seems there is a faction not in the church yet that which because if its natural mindedness is unable to understand the things of God. 1st Corinthians 2.
And just as scripture proves scripture is true, I think it worth consideration that people prove scripture is true too.
As such, referring again to 1st Corinthians 2 , does it seem right that we are able to lead the natural mind to comprehend that which God tells can only be accomplished by his doing?
I won’t highjack this thread ….:)
But I personally believe there are many levels …just as there is many levels of ‘seeing’ some settle at the salvation level..some move on to the second feast level of the Holy Spirit…some move on the the third feast etc etc…’saved’ is an interesting word ….
There were 7 covers spread over the the holy of holies and the mercy seat in the wilderness …seven levels of covering….not all believers are the overcomers ( Revelation) not all believers are in the Bride etc …
But that’s not what this thread is about.
“Heaven” will not be just one equal glob of people. … Everyman in his own order.
But, back to topic….:)
i have a younger sister, ya
I sure would like to hear more about this.
.haha! :)
it used to be my main line , ( after the great love of Father and eternal security ) …but now I’m old and don’t have much left on the natural side of things. LOL
I just bob along now. x
Bible.“Having eyes and seeing not” …
Thank you. Good to be here.sorry I’ve been lax in welcoming you to the Site . Good to have you here..
Every blessing…H
It still does not appear you are on the correct path per God's written Word. OSAS is not Biblical. 1 John 1 is Biblical, and Apostle John there showed that if we say we have no sin we make Jesus a liar.
Hello. Please provide the scriptures where there were 7 covers spread over the holy of holies and mercy seat. Thank you.I won’t highjack this thread ….:)

Hello, Helen... Not been seen around here lately... that's me. And you?Was the prodigal son a son while in the pig pen or not?
If not, when was he ‘ un-soned’…we are told that. His FATHER ( not a preacher or just a friend …but his Father ) , looked down the road every day for him.
no, he was a stinky son, a rotten son, none the less he was still a son…
Once a son , always a son. :)
Yes, even so, but I believe that hearts may only be changed by the Holy Spirit when and if a person allows it. This is what men call "free will"... To choose to allow God to work His righthand work or not. Choosing not to allow that work, God still may work His lefthand work. We should certainly prefer the former... but the choice is ours. How often does anyone change their mind about anything in debates on forums? Don't think I've ever seen it. Only the Holy Spirit can change hearts and lead us into all truth, and He is gentle and meek and usually works out of sight if or when flesh gets out of the way.
The Holy Spirit is able to do all things good in us... if we allow it. As they limited God in the OT, so also do we limit God today. Are we growing toward God as the Spirit works in us or are we stifling the Spirit of God, limiting the Holy One of Israel?.
.
Okay, but I'm not at all sure you're not preaching to the choir here. With the slight exception that I would not characterize the gift of the Holy Spirit as a down payment. If a man is willing to do God's will, he is qualified to receive as much of the Holy Spirit as he truly desires, if my understanding of what Scripture teaches in regard to this is correct.
.
.
Consider the difference between these two verses:peter had not, at that point, received the Holy Spirit, so he was not yet born again from above. He believed, but he failed in trust, then returned to trust. So I don’t think converted is the best word to use there.
The key, sister, is first things first. It is not wrong to desire things for ourselves...but...what does Jesus tell us here?I agree with this. If all self interest was bad, why are there rewards in heaven? Why would heaven even be a thing?
Still? Maybe it's something that's typical in CF's?.
.
We're still bickering over the soteriological viability of unconditional eternal security.

When the seed is planted in us, when are we to stop growing closer to God? What happens to our flesh if we stop eating and drinking that which is necessary? And with the "new man" [assuming there is one]?we seek an immediate change in others, huh? me too lol
not realizing what “planting a seed” means, imo
Must a person win all of the battles according to men so as to really love God? Must all who do love God agree with one another in every point now?It has always amazed me how much some people fight again the great love of God …and even believe that in doing so they are fighting for Him , not against Him . ;)
