It was written TO YOU!

Its written to Christ Rejecting Hebrews, in the epistle entitled "HEBREWS".

You find them in Hebrews Chapter 6 and 10 and Acts 28.
You find Paul the Apostle giving them the Gospel, and they are spitting it out, willfully.
They are "trodding under foot" the precious blood of Jesus.

A lot of Christians ask...>"what is the unpardonable sin".....and you can find it being committed in Hebrews 10:26, by Christ Rejecting HEBREWS.

Forgive me…but I am going to have to say it…

By your posts and seeming belief of what you think God is saying…what you really need my friend , is a spiritual encounter and experience with Father God , allow Him to reveal His depth of Love to you.

unlike some , I won’t debate what I believe , I just share it and leave the rest to God. I don’t “need” to have people believe what I believe , God is God ….We obviously see things differently and that’s fine.
I had a struggle letting go of my previous hard line teachings. it took me a year of seeking and waiting on the Father , asking Him to show me His heart ( as I was beginning to get Holy Spirit nudges that what I believed about God was wrong.
I was terrified of letting go of what I’d believed and even preached for a couple of decades , I was comfortable believing that way …I didn’t want to become uncomfortable…or start swimming against the tide …
One by one Father slowly dismantled all my sacred cows …after that , The Holy Spirit starts rebuilding …

Just try asking God, if ‘just maybe’ you have got it wrong . He honours a seeking heart .

Consider this...

In the OT, especially in the Book of Leviticus, it is made clear that life is in the blood, but that is speaking of carnal animals [and people] having physical life. It was a type or shadow of the real Life which was given up in Eden, but brought back by Jesus. Jesus came as a physical man with physical red blood and he shed all of that blood. He was to shed something that no physical man had, the Holy Spirit. Men had spirit, but it was corrupted with no real Life in it. Men with only the red blood of the body were effectively dead. Jesus came to change that. He did not do it with by sharing with us the red blood of his also corruptible [corruptible, but NOT corrupted] body of flesh. The real Life lost in the Garden was and is the Spirit... the Holy Spirit, that is.


"And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Revelation 7:14,

So the Blood of the Lamb makes no one red, but rather White.
Consider Esau [rough] who was called Edom [red] because he ate of the red pottage made by Jacob in exchange for his birthright.
Did not Jesus bring us something better than red pottage? How about robes made white by his Blood? How does this relate to this verse?

"But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion." Joel 3:20-21

In the natural we might believe that this was a sorting out of the mixed bloodlines of the natural Israelites [see Ezra 9:2-3 where Ezra was so upset he pulled out his own beard.] This may be right, but could this not also be simply a type or shadow of the double mindedness of Christian believers? What is Zion? One Hebrew derivation of the word means "dry or barren land". That is what every one of us were before we received Life from Jesus. Spiritually, we effectively had no Blood [Spirit] in us. We were dead. Jesus said, "Let the dead bury their dead" [Matt 8:22]. Apostle Paul writes

"Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life." II Cor 3:6

I have had a spiritual encounter and I have been through situations that only my faith in God got me through.

try asking God, if ‘just maybe’ you have got it wrong .

I pray this often.

I read the King James Bible at least 3 times a year just to be sure that my learning remains centered in God’s truth.

When one leaves reading the Bible frequently and completely he will veer off from it. There’s leaven everywhere from a multitude of places.

My post perspective was in consideration of Jesus being sins sacrificial lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world.
And his Lambs Book of Life containing the names of his saved figuratively then written in his blood before that foundation.

You didn't address the point: the chastisement of the Lord for His people, is not the morning after, which is the same for all flesh, including wrecked careers, sickly bodies, etc...which can all be enhanced by riotous and ungodly living.

Was the prodigal son a son while in the pig pen or not?

In the flesh, yes, but in spirit with inheritance, no.

If not, when was he ‘ un-soned’…we are told that.

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.

His FATHER ( not a preacher or just a friend …but his Father ) , looked down the road every day for him.

When his father saw him, he was his living son. Until then, he was dead.

God has no sinful, unrighteous, ungodly, sinning children of the devil for sons made in the image of His dear Son, who was never sinning with the devil.

Yes, even so, but I believe that hearts may only be changed by the Holy Spirit when and if a person allows it. This is what men call "free will"... To choose to allow God to work His righthand work or not. Choosing not to allow that work, God still may work His lefthand work. We should certainly prefer the former... but the choice is ours.

Whichever the case, we need to humble ourselves under His mighty hand and keep trusting Him. When we seek His righteousness the Lord answers according to His wisdom as He sees fit and as He knows we need.

Regarding the prodigal son, the scripture says this:

Luk 15:24
For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

But the Lord knows the end from the beginning, so from heaven's vantage point the Father would have foreknown the prodigal would return and that's why He was waiting for him. Even though from an earthly vantage point in time, that son was a lost soul for a while.

(How many of us looking back on our life and can see with hindsight that the hand of God had been with us all along, even before we came to faith? Yes, it's true! I can see both His kindness and faithfulness as well as how He prepared my heart to receive the gospel, through circumstances that He allowed...He was already making all things work together for my good.)

Finally, SOMEBODY exegetes Hebrews 10:26-29 correctly!

One of the main themes of the book of Hebrews is multiple warnings to Jewish-Christians who under persecution were tempted to renounce Christ and return to Judaism. If we reject Christ and His sacrifice for us, the author reminds us that when we sin (and we will; sin is inevitable in this life of flesh), we no longer have any means of atonement.

The multiple warnings against apostasy in Hebrews is quite relevant to an OSAS thread. Note that the issue is about renouncing Christ, not about sin. As one author puts it, if justification is through faith, the door in is also the door out.
