He was Preaching to Jews and only the Jews. Miraculous signs and wonders were brought to the Jews first. Then the Gentiles. Romans 1:16
So only Jews have to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins? How about Samaritans, which are Jew/gentiles? How about the gentiles that are not Jews like Cornelius? They were all baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to be separating people on their ethnic backgrounds and giving everybody a different plan of salvation.

Jesus baptizes with the Holy spirit His people. John baptized with water. And Paul baptized no one lest the cross be emptied of its power.
Let’s get this straight once and for all… We repent and we get baptized in the name of Jesus and God gives us the Holy Ghost.
It is us and God together that creates the plan of salvation.
Don’t just be lazy and think God has to repent us and baptize us in the name of Jesus for the remission of our sins.
You gotta do something.

Lazy lazy lazy…

You obtain the blood by being buried with Christ through baptism in the name of Jesus. The blood has not covered the Earth, regardless of peoples situations. You have to get it specifically by obeying Peter per repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

No, I became a believer and was washed in His Blood when I believe, confessed Him as my Lord as I turn from my sin unto the Lord. In the New Testament, they all got dunked in the water AFTER they got born again

Your view is like the crazy COC people who claim if someone died on the way to getting dunked they will burn in hell.

One would have to believe Jesus lied to the thief on the cross to hold that position... this guy had no opportunity to get dunked in the water after he believed and yet according to Jesus he was saved.

Bu then again the COC peoples don't believe in being filled with the Holy Ghost or that the Holy Ghost is involved in leading them in their lives concerning decisions that are not answered in God's written word such as is this the right person to marry, do I take this job or some other job, etc, etc.

It's too bad they reject the leading of the Holy Ghost in their personal lives.

Pentecost was a onetime event. The Holy Spirit filled disciples in the upper room were speaking the language of everyone and were Glorifying the works of God. The whole Pentecost event was a Holy Spirit revival for the Jews. Its never happened again. Don't kid yourself. The Apostle Paul is the Apostle to the Gentiles. What he says goes for us Gentiles. The Jews were a chosen people, and Pentecost was for the Jews first, then the Gentiles.
Keep reading in Acts chapter 15. At the Jerusalem Counsel, Peter went to the Jews, and Paul to the Gentiles.

Pentecost was a onetime event.

There are others that got filled with the Holy Ghost after the day of Pentecost... so the infilling of the Spirit was not just a one time event.

There's something you can study... or not if you are one of those secessionists who let the enemy trick them out of things the Lord wants ALL His children to walk in.

False, forgiveness of sins is by the blood of Christ. You in grave error friend. Everybody Christ died for are born into the world with forgiveness of sins. 2 Cor 5:19

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Non Imputation of sin is forgiveness Rom 4:7-8

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Jesus does the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is John's baptism.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

No water baptism mentioned to become the children of God.
The baptism that saves is Jesus baptizing us in the Holy Spirit, every single believer has received that baptism from Jesus.

It is being born again by the Spirit. The result is we are joined as one spirit with Him.
Jesus told us He, the Holy Spirit will indwell all believers. God's Spirit does not dwell inside an evil spirit, so He makes us anew.

The devils believe. Believing is not enough to obtain remission of sins. Baptism in the name of Jesus is what it takes to remit sins.

Acts 19, water baptism was the baptism of John the Baptist to prepare the people for the coming Messiah.
John, Jesus said was the greatest OLD Testament prophet. With Christ's coming, the door was opened in a new way to the Father. Christ is the door of the sheep into heaven. Believing in Jesus is the Way, Truth, and the Life, not water baptism.

God arranged this meeting as His will and purpose was their salvation.

These disciples had been water baptized, but they were not completed in Christ yet.
They did not believe in Jesus Christ until God used Paul to show them the way to the Father was through the Son.

After they believed in Christ, they were saved, complete in Christ which everyone got to witness as they had signs following. The only baptism that saves is the one Christ does, He baptizes with the Holy Spirit and power, and they are made new creations in Christ, which is why they believed as God has dealt to each onw who has believed a measure of faith.

1 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples 2 he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?

So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.”

3 And he said to them, “Into what then were you baptized?”

So they said, “Into John’s baptism.”

4 Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. 7 Now the men were about twelve in all.

Pentecost is still occurring. It concludes with the great tribulation. You need to read what Peter said when he said this is that… In chapter 2.

We are not talking of salvation of demons are we, so why bring that into the conversation??

The gospel of salvation is for man only, what demons believe does not have any relevance.

So, if you disobey Acts 2:38 and you are not baptized for in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, you can easily be regenerated?
Doesn’t seem very easy to me.

Of course, remission of sins is by the blood of Jesus Christ. Nobody’s disputing that. It is how you obtain the blood in your life. Now think for a minute… Then Peter said unto them repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins…

False, John’s baptism resulted in people being rebaptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Those are two different baptisms.

So you only read the believing part and not ….he that believeth and is baptize shall be saved?

That’s like a kid telling another kid… “First words only“… Lol

No, after they believed in Christ, they were immediately baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins. They weren’t saved and then buried. Paul did not bury people alive like modernists do.

If believing alone is the way to be saved, and then the devil’s are saved. That doctrine of modernism does not fly with the Bible. The devils cannot be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and they don’t let their constituents either.

John 5 shows an interesting contrast between the water in the pool stirred up by angels to make people physically whole, vs believing on CHRIST which makes oneself whole in the Spirit having eternal life.

The pool was a type of water baptism where God healed people
But Jesus comes to that place to proclaim to the people that if they believed in Him they would be made well on the inside and the outside., so Christ was a sign of the good things to come in the New Covenant God would establish in Christ's blood and superior to water baptism even one done by angels at the command of God the Father.

Christ explains all this in John 5

John 5

A Man Healed at the Pool of Bethesda

1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, [a]Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, [b]paralyzed, [c]waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8 Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
11 He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
12 Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14 Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
15 The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.

Honor the Father and the Son

16 For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, [d]and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17 But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
18 Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Life and Judgment Are Through the Son

24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
