Again, Hinduism is based on PANTHEISM--the believe that all that exists is God. They don't believe in a personal God or Savior. They don't believe Jesus is God in the flesh and came to die for their sins.........

your basing this on their doctrine verse your doctrine. the problem with this is everyone has a different idea of which is correct. Christians dont even agree. if your doctrine is leading you to burn people alive, go to war and torture people, it may be wrong, just saying.
Jesus said look at the fruits. and they have a few bad ones, the untouchables is not a great one, but they do not all agree on this one. for the most part they have pretty good fruits. they dont go out and conquer other people in the name of their faith. thats a big one for me. and its not something that Jesus taught.

just so folks know, i do not agree with the untouchability idea. Gandhi, the most famous hindu ever spent most his life teaching against it.
but i do like the fact that the hindus have tacked the problem of why bad things happen to good people.

this is a phrase that has been used throughout the world for thousands of years. its directed at people that have done nothing wrong but have lots of bad things happen, maybe the loss of a loved one, their home is destroyed, etc. you have never heard this phrase before?

Hindus have one creator as well

i like the Indian independence movement. they were ruled by England, exploited for everything they were worth.
They resisted through passive non violent non cooperation. They did not want to be ruled by England but always maintained the English were their friends. When the English would stomp them down they would stand up and let them do it again. Exactly what Jesus taught.England answered with events such as the event of amritser where british soldiers opened fire on a crowd of civilians, their crime was they were having a meeting, no free speach for those people. one thousand plus people died that day, many women and children. Christian England vs Hindu India.

I've heard the phrase a lot. But that doesn't mean there is a reality to what it says.

It's what is called a "complex question". It assumes there are good people. The Bible says all have sinned, that there is only one good, that is God.

So you may ask, why do bad things happen to good people, I'd ask, who are these "good people" that bad things happen to?

And "bad" by what standard? Because it was painful? The cross was painful. Because it took away what God gave? The cross took his life.

In fact, I think I can safely say, only ONE time in history has something bad happened to someone good. But that thing that happened, it was exactly what God wanted.

So personally, I find the question nonsensical. Even though many ask it.

And remember . . . affliction is for our good.

ok so anything is possible if your faith is strong enough, moving a mountain would be covered in the "anything" category i would think. so how would someone go about making their faith strong enough to do that?

That's not it. We don't "exercise our faith muscles" so we can flex them at will.

IF you obey God, He will empower you to do so. We serve Him. But not everyone likes that idea.

Bad things, good people? If I got what I deserved, I'd be a smoldering pile of ashes. Lol, it's true.
As far as Hindus go, they worship beings I am too familiar with. There is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. All others are fake, fony, and false (I know). Fallen angels and their twisted offspring, the Nephilim.
While we're talking about Hindus, there's karma. It's a forwarding of the consequences of one's actions into the "next" life. Kinda like a credit card. It's totally different than "you reap what you sow." Or even "what goes around comes around." And yet people are attributing things to karma instead of their own choices. Or ancestral curses.
Karma is a doctrine of devils. If able to, they will kill you. Be wise and learn from another's mistakes, in this case, mine. Shalom.

It's difficult for us in the West to wrap our minds around pantheism because we hear so much about the one true God of the Bible who is a personal God. Jesus Christ, a person, is God. The pantheistic Hindu god, whom they believe is all that exists, is like the Force in Star Wars, not a person. The Hindus worship thousands of "emanations" of god, and they have idols that represent these emanations.

So, to think of their god creating like the one true God of the Bible created is not accurate.

You need to understand the history of the British in India. It was the British East India Company that set up shop in India rather than the British government. The company colonized India in the early 1600s and had its own form of government backed by its own army. In the 1800s the British Crown nationalized the company and took possession of all that it owned in India....

The East India Company didn't go into India to rule the nation as Christians. Their motive for colonizing was monetary, not religious. The British Crown colonized lands all over the world. This is why they say that at one point, the sun never set on the British Empire. I'm sure that the British on this forum can explain this history a lot better than I have. :)

why are some things missing from the bible such as chakras, energy fields, sound, frequencies,pineal gland and things of this nature? and if not missing where are they.

i think there are many truths in the eastern beliefs. these people know all about these things in their belief system yet in the west our bible says nothing of these things. when i mention these things to other Christians they think i am crazy and call this devils work. Tibetan Buddhist devote majority of their lives to spirituality and yet most western main stream Christians spend less than one day a week, with most of our focus on our job, our money, shopping and television. this makes no sense to me.

It makes no sense to you because the natural man cannot discern the things of the spirit. Why would God include things in his Word that are the product of Satan's lying other than to warn you about what he is doing and how he does it? Not logical.
