A short time to learn a lot.
The thread is about Matthew 18.Another OSAS thread? (Are you going to be intellectually honest and ask if Jesus lied in John 10:28?) In our preoccupation with getting our own asses saved and keeping them saved, do we ever contemplate the question,
"What if God treated us the same way we treat each other?"
Yup, same Jesus likens our relationship with Him to branches and the Vine that put them forth--the life is in the Vine, not the branch, so the branch must abide in the Vine to receive the substance in the Vine, and if the branch does not abide, it does not retain the life ("and the eternal life is in His Son" 1 Jn 5:11), and it becomes unfruitful, so it is cut off and thrown in the fire.(Are you going to be intellectually honest and ask if Jesus lied in John 10:28?)

He did. And does.Another OSAS thread? (Are you going to be intellectually honest and ask if Jesus lied in John 10:28?) In our preoccupation with getting our own asses saved and keeping them saved, do we ever contemplate the question,

He may; He may not. One of the purposes of the parable is to make us aware of how we treat others. Whoever has ears to hear, let 'em hear.He did. And does.
