I only your first few posts here on this so sorry if this has been covered already, but the Lord does stir our heart...unto righteousness, which is a fancy way of saying to obey, to listen to Him and do the right thing. God bears witness with our spirit and our spirit is connected to our heart somehow and from the hear man is spurred to action, and man is spurred to speak. Our heart "Thinks", even man knows this now.

The heart contains the same type of cells that the brain has and uses for thinking. We can pick up brain waves wirelessly now from the transmission signals it sends. Well they get the same type of signals from the heart also! But from four times as far away as brainwaves. So the conclusion is that we are bigger thinkers in our heart than in our mind!

take no time off deceiving . This lamb shall take no time off exposing them and their doctrines .
We gonna bible up . TRUTH is loved by a lamb . AND EVERY WORD OF GOD IS TRUTH .

They forgot verse 18 which is very Important! We have a Hot Line to the Throne Room of God and can call in an Air Strike!

That's talking about the fires of purification I believe. The Lord told me once about the fires of purification, you can do it on earth or you can do it in Heaven. The tone He used made me think that it is easier for us to go through on earth than it will be in Heaven.

I'm still chewing on that! But I got the message ok, do it on earth! While we can!

Rejoice in your Tribulations! That's just the Lord testing you and purifying you.

We are all posting what we interpret scripture to be saying...many difference of beliefs and opinions of scripture on this forum...everyone’s voice is doing just that, voicing and searching for Gods truth.

He’s telling me that the enemy wanders the earth like a roaring Lion, waiting to devour someone, catch them in his snare..he’s very good at doing that.
At one time he kept telling me that, God is a liar, that what he revealed to my heart 33 yrs ago was a lie...well, 33 yrs later, my faith is so strong in that area, he doesn’t even bother now, Praise God, he’s the liar not God..my faith has been well and truly tested..

Short commentary.

Our enemy the devil desires to devour us, to cause real and lasting harm. The Greek word here is katapiein, literally meaning to "swallow," or to "drown." Peter has made it clear that our place in eternity with our Father is secure. The devil cannot take that from us, but he does seek to damage our faith.

Oh, yes did I get ahead of myself? Lol. Yes the enemy prowls about like a roaring lion devouring who he can. That comes to us as tribulations. It brings a curse to the earth in a consuming fire and many will die but a very few have covered their sins with the blood of Jesus and so are not harmed by the consuming fire. It purifies them.

See that's what I'm talking about right there! We see the lion prowling about seeking someone to devour in the natural realm as tribulations which the Lord promises over and over that He will protect us like He said in All those verses you posted! We can't see the spiritual fire or dont feel any purification, that's spiritual. All we know is, He protected me!

I heard one guys testimony that him and his buddy was out hiking in the wilderness and somehow he startled a mama grizzy bear with cubs! And it charged him and he said the only thing he had time to do is pray, Lord Jesus in your name STOP and pointed at the charging bear, and it stopped just like that and turned away with her cubs! WOW!

I remember, I had already discovered Psalm 91 and Now believe that I hid in the shadow of the Almighty and He protected me from 3 teams of Police that were actively searching for me to arrest me.
What happened was I was letting both my sons (grown) live with me to help them out, they lost their place. One Saturday I woke to up to them fighting. It was loud and sounded bad. Stuff was crashing and stuff. They were tearing up my house! I got up and tried to break it up and the young one turned on me and started speaking very disrespectfully to me...so I decked him.. That rubs me the wrong when a child disrespects his parents.

He called the Police and said he was going to have me arrested so I laughed and waited for them. By the time they got there my sons had made peace with each other and agreed to put all the blame for the fight on me. So the cops warned me that, if they had to come back today that I will be arrested. As soon as they left thee young one felt empowered by those words so became even more disrespectful than he was at first and began threatening me. So what's a dad to do? I decked him again, quick. He hit the floor and didnt even try to fight me when he got up. He was too busy calling the Police to have me arrested.

I'm no idiot so I hit the door and started walking! I couldn't walk far because of my recent auto accident and my truck needed a starter so I couldn't drive away! Geez. So I was less than half a block away before I began praying! Earnestly, I didn't want to go to jail!

All of a sudden I hear this voice inside of me, clear as day! It said turn left at the next block. So I did! Then the voice said turn right in the alley, so I did! Then it was turn left, turn right, sit and rest here for awhile (!!) get up fast go left! I followed that voice's instruction to the letter. This lasted for a good 45 mins to an hour and when I was crossing intersections I could see way up the street and several times I saw cop cars passing by intersections a few blocks down and stuff. And then all of a sudden the voice said, Ok you can go home now, it's safe. SO I did. I dont think I ever got more than 5 or 6 blocks away from home! And they couldn't find me! I had protection! The Lord is SO GOOD! Praise the Lord!

On the way walking home I began to worry about what I would be walking into again so I prayed for the spirit of peace to be sent to my house so that we could have peace and not strife. And wow, when I walked in, they both apologized and especially the young one! I couldn't believe it, he had a 180 in attitude!

And one day after that I was reading and praying Psalm 91 and when I read that I realized, that must be where I was, in the shadow of the Almighty!

Everyone of us are at different levels of understanding Gods word.only the Holy Spirit can bring us to understanding our Fathers word, we can do and learn nothing in our own strength imo.

It’s good that we can all share...we never stop learning.

SCRIPTURE: John 15:5

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”



INTERPRETATION:



I rediscovered something recently: I can’t do anything. That’s what Jesus said in John 15. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”



This statement of Jesus (John 15) is right in the middle of chapters fourteen and sixteen. In John 14 Jesus gives us the Promise of the Holy Spirit and in John 16 the Power of the Holy Spirit.



I can’t reveal truth, I can’t illuminate truth, I can’t even convict of truth. The Holy Spirit must do that. I can’t do anything good unless the Spirit of God is at work.

Paul says in Romans 7:18, “Nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh.”



But according to John 15:5, God intends for me to do something good (namely, bear fruit). Jesus who said “I have called you friends” (John 15:15) promises to do for me what I can’t do for myself.



“The Holy Spirit is the living God, not some inert concept. The church community has to trust the Holy Spirit in every decision and believe strongly that the Spirit continues to be present in the community and at work in it. The Spirit will not permit our community to grope about to darkness, if only we are willing to take the Holy Spirit seriously.” Dietrich Bonhoeffer
