And at the risk of sounding like a drama queen... LOL I think I am one of the few contributors on these forums who is absolutely TRANSPARENT with her feelings... and shortcomings... I have nothing to hide... I am honest about who I am... I have many many faults... I am TRYING very hard to fit in... and find myself a little niche within this large community.
I am all alone... this site is my only form of communicating with the outside world. So... for whatever it's worth... I am doing my best to understand and co-exist with other believers.
That is my thought for the day.... Time for the lake.

The lake...must be nice. "Truman, you are where Almighty God has you at this point. You should be thankful that you don't live under Lorne bridge!" If it was closer, I'd go play them some music, if they'd like.
Ever hear of a guy named, "Larry Norman?" He was a famous Christian Capital Records recording artist. He and a few others like him were tired of spending their church service signing autographs, so they formed a small group for fellowship. This was the beginning of, "The Vineyard."
Larry would walk up and down Hollywood Blvd. and witness to the homeless. I've never been a huge fan of his music, but Jesus spent time with the outcasts of society, and I think that in this way Larry set a good example.
There is a lot of speculation and gossip about this guy by the established church. Some of it may be true, I don't know, but knowing the hate and intolerance aimed towards the Vineyard firsthand, I know a lot of it is not.
Kinda reminds me of how Lonnie Frisbee was, and still is, treated.
Threaten their establishment, and you become public enemy #1.
Maybe I will start calling it the swamp.... It will sound less attractive that way...
I looked up Lonnie Frisbee and started watching a video... but it was absolutely disturbing... so I stopped.
