Hi Dev and everyone. Glad you got your new doctor.

It was in the 90's the past couple of days. Last evening it was still warm out. But now in the wee hours I can feel the cool night air.

I have the windows wide open, also the wood door, with the lights out. (We have a security screen door.)
I'll shut the wood door when I turn in.
It got cool here and is raining in Washington. We got lucky. I still remember moving to the LA area 20-some years ago and the heat shock when I was trying to find my new job. No air conditioning in the car and it was summer.

90's are pretty hot, I hope it cools down for you soon. We had some mid 80's weather last week so I bought some PowerADE sports drink. I tried water but didn't feel like it was working. The PowerADE hit the spot. I have a-typ cystic fibrosis so I sweat all my electrolytes out rapidly. Normal people probably don't have to worry about that.

Thankfully we don't get the 90's too often. I had to cancel my eye doctor appointment... delaying it two weeks. I developed Glaucoma about a year ago so he needs to check my pressure.

A friend and I were exchanging pics of the rare Blue Moon we had in NZ last night. Here's a pic I took from my phone outside - Not as big as the real thing but as close as I could get it with my phone....

This one she found on a FB community group. A neighboring town about a 15minutes away.. The photograph was taken at the top of their lookout point-

Made air fryer hash browns today. Itd be cool to make some from scratch
Hash browns are pretty tasty!

I had a breakfast burrito the other day from Jack in the Box. It was pretty tasty. I'm thinking about adding more eggs to my diet later.

Just saying hello.
Is it a little quiet on the forum? Or is it just me....
We lost a lot of members when they went to advertising after switching owners. A lot of the members we lost were fellowshippers. But yes I noticed it got a little less traveled lately.

I use Vivaldi browser.....no ads whatsoever, and no tracking.
It's free....I got it from Google Play Store.

Just fed mom and myself. Have a Western on mainly for some company. Mom can see some scenery a little.

Got to Target today for my Glaucoma eye drops. I just signed up for the year's free grocery delivery....it was getting harder for me to get groceries in. I'm a senior citizen and full time caregiver to my 93 year old mom.

I use firefox browser. So I don't get ads either.

My Dad likes the oldies too, from his mom's era. So it's westerns from around his era and even older movies. Sometimes I watch them with him.

I hope your eyes are OK. Will pray for you.

Greetings, CB..
---
I am in Edinburgh, Scotland..
- short trip.
---
6:15 am
- Edinburgh time.
---
58F..now
High 79F
- Partly Cloudy.
---
Having my first cup of coffee..

Is it a business trip?

I visited the UK in 1976. Did visit Edinburgh. Just saw Holyrood Palace and attended a Scottish dinner with Scottish dancing. Saw much more of lovely England. Cardiff, Wales had a great castle....it was pouring rain that day. And a cat roamed the hall at the hotel there.

Thanks for your prayers. The opthalmologist said my optic nerves are getting thin. I hope and pray my eyes will be ok. No one to take care of me.

Thanks Behold. Nice to see you here.

Have you been getting any of those hurricane winds and rain?

Thank God, the answer is " no."

Sometimes when im back in Israel i'll see the "Hurricane report", regarding the coastline starting from Key West and extending all the way to Texas, as the "models" all try to predict where that 140mph wind is going to "Land".
I have to say from the heart that i dont miss not being in the States, at that time.

In Netanya, where i stay when im in Israel, we dont have to dodge Hurricanes, we just have to try to avoid Terrorists.
They tend to become more active when its hot weather, and go back inside and watch the Big Screen, and use their Iphones, in the winter months.
