Wow, warm there on the east coast for morning time. It's 52F here on the northwest coast. High of 73 today but probably will be cooler since we have wildfire smoke in the air to keep the sun out.
I worked out some more exciting ideas on my project that never ends. How is your book of Christian history coming along?

It's always cool here in the wee hours. Think it will be about 80 later.
Sure enjoyed the one day of rain from the tropical storm.... hearing the rain. But the WiFi went out for a day.

We finally got some rain here in Washington. Not sure if it was remnants from the tropical storm. We had our power go out twice in two weeks for an hour or two, not sure why.

The Wi-Fi went out after the tropical storm. It was also acting up when the storm was just starting.
A hospital lost power....had to evacuate a good many, very ill patients. A lady had to give birth in the hospital in the dark! By flashlight.

Hi. It's 63 now in the wee hours. Supposed to get to 83 in the daytime.

Good morning @Pathfinder7 and @Debp. 80F today and we have smoke from the local fires still so it will probably only get up to 72F like yesterday. I have had some fun on my project recently.
I haven't been on the forum in a few days. Just checking in to see how everyone is doing.

That's wonderful news. I was on the night shift for an aircraft company many years ago.Hi folks it's 1.35am in the early morning. 46 F. I am awake which I guess comes from trying to shake off my nightshift hours which I no-longer have. Love this time of the early morning. Spending it talking with Jesus
I got my coffee and now just hydrating with water. It's the hot month in August here. Not as hot as east of the mountains, but I'm getting old so I don't do as well in the heat. God some PowerADE too for today to get my electrolytes in.
That must have been difficult @dev553344 . I managed to stay awake cos the folks I worked with had dementia and they were awake at all hours
In fact, most never really slept....stayed awake to keep me company and/or try to escape or to tell me that they are going home now...Yep, that must have been sad to see them do that. It's because of operations like the one you work for that they are kept safe so that is good. My grandmother had dementia and she couldn't remember me. She did remember my mother though.That must have been difficult @dev553344 . I managed to stay awake cos the folks I worked with had dementia and they were awake at all hours
Good morning everyone! Yesterday I finally got my new primary care doctor. Haven't had one in like a year or something. My other ones all quit. Must be the stress of the pandemic. Anyways, I got like 3 vaccine shots for various things like pneumonia, shingles and such. Now I'm a hurtin unit. Probably be up all night suffering, but at least it's just vaccines and not real illnesses. Cheers!

Hi Dev and everyone. Glad you got your new doctor.
It was in the 90's the past couple of days. Last evening it was still warm out. But now in the wee hours I can feel the cool night air.
I have the windows wide open, also the wood door, with the lights out. (We have a security screen door.)
I'll shut the wood door when I turn in.
