Good morning from the UK, it’s 6:30 in the morning and I am off to a day shift at the carehome soon. We have beautiful spring sunshine at the moment. The birds are singing, what a contrast to what so many are facing right now as they wake up.
Have a blessed day , whenever you lot wake up !!
Hope you have a great day Rita. I have crows, robins and bald eagles and seagulls that keep me company on my walks. We used to have squirrels but they all got hit by cars. A couple days ago I ran into a coyote. It is the second time I ran into him. It was dark and it scared me so I switched my path just in case so I wouldn't get bit.

A state trail runs behind my house, so the Sneaky Labrador and I enjoy a good walk along it. We see lots of deer, some raccoons, otters, beavers, foxes, herons, and other birds. The only dangerous critter we've run into was a man who lived in tent along the river and who made certain I knew he had a Crocodile Dundee knife. We kinda reached a tacit agreement - we'll leave him the hell alone, he'll leave us alone. But now I carry my 9mm tucked in my waistband when we go for dog-walks down the trail.

Yes, I was homeless for a while and I know what it is like. I was aggressive and ended up in Jail a few times. Jail becomes their refuge. Now I'm on medication and haven't had any troubles for over a decade. But I still remember the times and troubles. I'm thankful to God that I am no longer homeless.

We have people walk by now that have knives and staves that are homeless. I always have concern that they will attack me as some of them are yelling at no one and violent in appearance. Sad but I always think: "You're not going to get help that way".

Oh, my.

"Thank God for good drugs!", my wife says. (When she said it, they'd put a bag full of liquid "Don't Worry" in her IV drip just prior to her mastectomy.)

Morning CyB 12.30am. Weather forecast not too good. Heavy rain in my area ☔ Too windy for a brollie. Sitting in the nurses station again. We have a new resident who thinks she is a nurse.
We are slowly moving out of summer. Drop in temperature is very noticable...
