A challenge for anyone here....

Do any of you BELIEVE you have in your personal possession(where you live) the pure word of God in writing?

You need to define pure and what you claim is the Word of God. You've made plenty of contradictory claims.

and you know this how? This is no more than speculation.
The septuagint and the Greek language were dominant in that era.

Also, Timothy's father was a Greek gentile.

He did not teach his son Hebrew, and don't even think that is a fact.

Father knows best.

this proves nothing!

I am a Gentile but use the Hebrew Old Testament and Greek and Latin New Testaments. The Church fathers like Tertullian and Cyprian used both the Greek and Latin Bible.

As Paul spoke Hebrew (see Acts 22:2), and Timothy was like a son to him, do you not think that Paul would have taught Timothy the OT in the Original language?

Wrong answer...next.

Yeah. Empty nonsense from you.

Anyone that has spent any significant time studying the Holy Writings throughout history knows that the sinfulness of man has caused many problems with all extant witnesses.

I don't REQUIRE God to rescue us from ourselves endless throughout history. It is our duty to do the work and recognize the challenges. We don't require God to do it for us. It was given mankind to share/preserve and we haven't.

Your silly position faults God with the problems that exist in the KJV.

Timothy's father was Greek. Paul used the Greek OT itself. We know because of the verses he quoted are almost exclusively from the Greek OT.

The sinfulness of Israel caused them significant difficulties throughout their history. So much so that they, themselves produced the LXX to aid them in their struggles.

There is very little evidence for a widely used Hebrew text of the OT during the time of Jesus and the apostles.

God preserving His word to us is a false teaching?

The 66 Books

Yes. It is. God is perfect. What we have today isn't perfect. God doesn't do anything less than perfect. Man has corrupted the Scriptures and the only blame as to why is man.... not God.

Any reputable English translation. This idea of the "Pure Word of God" is nonsense. The KJV is not the original, you realize that? It doesn't have the original words. It isn't the original language. So get over it man.
Is the "not so pure word of God", the word of God or a commentary of the pure word of God?
