AND . . . before Hebrew was a dead language!

A pictoral language written without the vowel points that became necessary for people to understand it, translated into the precision of Greek, by native speakers of both languages.

It's a winner!

Much love!
Excellent post!

Your saying that "the modern versions are changes because they use a completely different group of manuscripts from a garbage can...these modern versions are garbage too." shows that your mind has distorted the truth. BTW, it has everything to do with being holier than thou. It's simply judgmental nonsense.

And you call yourself "Truther"?

The King James version was created for one purpose: to codify what King James declared was Protestantism, which just happened to glorify his secular kingship. The KJV is all about him, not the truth of Christ. It is not perfect! How can you fall for this deception???
Not judgmental, but fact.

Truth hurts.

No statement of your faith regarding God's pure word?

Figures.

The purity of God's work has nothing to do with men. It is not dependent upon any English translation to be pure. Your requirement of such is ridiculous. God's Word is Eternal. One day this earth will pass away with a fervent heat and all the works therein will be destroyed. That includes every single English Bible in existence.

That event will not change God's Word.....

That is why Jesus said.....

Luk 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

I have a question for the KJVO crowd. If the KJV is the "pure word of God" what was the pure word of God before the KJV? Please give us a timeline from 50AD to 1611AD what the pure word of God was in detail with support.

Thanks.
There was nothing before the KJV.
Paul preached from the KJV. ;)

(just kidding, I am not a KJVO … I like the NASB and the ESV).

Jesus Christ is the “pure Word of God” … all translations that faithfully point to Him are “God-breathed” and suitable for use by His Holy Spirit to accomplish God’s work.

I answered your complaint.

You haven't made a statement of your faith regarding the Scriptures.....

What do you expect as an answer? What will you accept?

Quit deflecting. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God in the original autographs and he has faithfully preserved the message of those writings today.
Okay, which writings?

Just tell me what you believe is out there for us to call the pure word of God.

A...original autographs?

B...copies of them?

C...a particular translation?

You have no idea what truth is.
The truth is to obey Acts 2:38 ...and then after obeying it, make a statement of faith regarding which Bible is the word of God.

It will transform even the biggest skeptic.
