Great photo there! :)My daughter is a unique soul! My other daughter Joanna, was killed in an accident in 1997 at 15 years of age. She was very bright and intelligent and wanted to be a writer. When she died the Holy Spirit told me that he was taking the anointing that was Joanna's and giving it to Laura so that she would indeed have a double portion. I've seen the truth of this with my own eyes. She went through college on music and academic scholarships, graduating summa cum laude with degrees in English and history. In high school she won the governor's award in music for her playing ability. Only one to a school is given each year.
She excels in everything at 30 years of age and is working on her masters degree in environmental management.
As to her tattoo she makes her own decisions! Trust me on this. Hahahaha

There's something rather striking about Maori-inspired tribal tattoos, isn't there?I don't have a tattoo, I never saw the point nor a design I would think I would appreciate for the rest of my life. My son has a tattoo, similar to the one below, recording his connection to family and forbears. Tribal tattoos such as this I like a lot. They express who they are and their place in the world.

@OzSpen FYI, did you see the recent posts here? & do you have any interesting faith tattoo stories?
I can understand your thinking!farouk,
I struggle financially on an age pension now that my working life is over. I have no desire nor money to put into self-serving tattoos when I can support another Compassion child.

@soul man FYI, did you see the recent posts here? & do you have any interesting faith tattoo stories?
Thanks for your response, Sir. I was simply referring to the fact that there have been posts recently. No i haven't been reading along. I have no tattoos, never really gave it much thought. I know it is a trend today. Which posts are you referring to.
I can understand your thinking!
My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also; they are also proven conversation-starters, so I can certainly understand why so many young Christians do them.
Oh not boring, no. :)Nope, sorry...I'm quite boring!
PS: Do you think this kind of Christian art can act as a frequent and effective conversation-starter in witness?farouk,
One of our leading Rugby League professional players, Kevin Naiqama, a committed Christian from Fiji , has this tattooed on his back:

Kevin Naiqama’s tattoos are a real eyeful. Picture: Mark Evans Source:News Corp Australia
The newspaper reported online:
REMEMBER when blokes used to get the simple words “Love” or “Hate’’ tattooed across their knuckles?
Kevin Naiqama has certainly taken it to a whole new level, showing off a couple of long passages from the Bible that are sprawled across his chest.
It was cold this week, but Naiqama could not resist getting his gear off. The religious passages were from John 3:16 and Romans 10:9.
“In John 3:16, it shows me how much God loves everyone, through the good and the bad. God is love,’’ Naiqama said.
“And in Romans 10:9, it talks about salvation and me and confessing my faith in Jesus that I am identified in him and he is my Lord and Saviour.’’
Expect to see several Tigers and Parramatta players gather for a prayer after the game at ANZ Stadium tomorrow night, just as they did after their clash in round four (news.com.au, 29 July 2018) 'Tatts amazing: Wests Tigers star Kevin Naiqama proclaims his faith by inking bible verses across his chest').
Kevin is unashamed of his Christian faith and wants others to know the way of salvation.

Well, a lot of Christians get faith based ink done.I think anything can be used for God's glory. Even tattoos. It is hard for me to see tattoos like cutting/piercing the flesh.
Bizarre that anyone should say this to you.Someone even mentioned this to me when I got my daughter's ears pierced. Isaac's wife Rebekah was given a nose ring.
@1stCenturyLady Did you see post #312, above? with the striking faith tattoos, & what was your impression? :)
Yes, now it's churchgoing, homeschooling moms that typically do it, among others. When I was growing up, the guys with tattoos were the rough, rebellious types. Now, it's different.
