Really? but you didn't find it embarrassing to ask her, did you?I don't know, I couldn't read her that well. She might have actually been embarrassed.

Really? but you didn't find it embarrassing to ask her, did you?I don't know, I couldn't read her that well. She might have actually been embarrassed.
Well, maybe she was just a little bit; or maybe she wasn't after all.I didn't think that she would be embarrassed.
Acolyte:I on the other hand, got mine at 46...
No, enough pain in life. I dont think I will. Unless Jesus asks me to.Acolyte:
So since then, did you ever consider any plans for more ink?
Seems like the first one was painful? :) (Some parlors have numbing creams, but they are not always used.)No, enough pain in life. I dont think I will. Unless Jesus asks me to.
A childs capacity becomes evident by what it puts out. How can a child understand concepts beyond its capacity? So is your tattoo (if you have one) faith based in its design?
PS: Do you know if your wife noticed it also? (I don't know if your wife likes tattoos, but maybe the lady from your church would be more willing to talk to you wife about it...or maybe not...)I think I may have just noticed it and asked her what it meant.
PS: @Acolyte :Actually his is faith based, albeit he and a friend tatooed themselves in 8th grade. I on the other hand, got mine at 46 ...
I just wonder if your dw would dislike the idea of women with tattoos as much as she seems to dislike the idea of men with earrings: of course for her if this is what she honestly thinks, fine! Not that I'm aware of.
Interesting; because by the same token she can't claim that you piercing your ears would be unlawful in some shape or form, yet she is vetoing your ear piercing. (God bless you guys richly!)I think that she would agree with me that tattoos are out of the question because I am a stickler for the law. And she doesn't have any, so I don't think she would be getting any at her age.
man, If you think that tattooing is a means of witnessing, you are off with the fairiesI just wonder if your dw would dislike the idea of women with tattoos as much as she seems to dislike the idea of men with earrings: of course for her if this is what she honestly thinks, fine!
I guess the bigger picture is the use of both as witness means in one form or another.
My wife and I talked to a young lady with the whole of John 3.16 tattooed on her wrist area; it was her favorite Bible verse and mine also; and I' sure that other conversations have arisen from her willingness to become tattooed in this way. Faith based tattoos are proven effective in conversation-starters, and a lot of Christians know this and act accordingly.man, If you think that tattooing is a means of witnessing, you are off with the fairies
Besides, a lot of parlors now are more like salons, with many - even a majority - of clients being female. Christians who want to do it are in a sense in a win-win situation, right?I don't have a big problem with Christians getting tattoos as a witness.
