The "Star of David" is not in the Bible.

I would say the BRIGHT MORNING STAR was foretold to mankind, to come forth, and Did so, out "OF", the House of David, (David the king who was the LAST, "so far," ) to SIT on king David's "everlasting" Throne. And such Throne SHALL be Lastly occupied By "THE" Bright Morning Star; JESUS.

The Bright Star figure IN Scripture, IS a figure Israel was notified to EXPECT.
Israel selecting a STAR figure to represent ISRAEL, the People of God, appears most appropriate to me.

Others who ALSO select a star figure to represent their causes or beliefs ALSO appears as normal to me.

The controversy would be MOOT, "IF" people understood, WHO is selecting the figure and what it MEANS to THEM...without worrying
About WHAT it MEANS to OTHERS who select the same figure.

There is NO Patent or Exclusive Rights Limiting ANYONE, to choose a figure to represent their causes or beliefs.

SG, You and I see things in diametrically opposite ways. When you see the Star of David, you see Satan. I, on the other hand, when I see the Star of David, am reminded of the Star of Bethlehem, announcing the promised offspring of David had been born.

That star is now announcing God's plan to restore all Israel in the Last Days to the eternal land God gave them 3500 years ago, as detailed in the Book of Ezekiel.

For me, my feelings for the Mogen David, and God's miraculous restoration of the Land of Israel, is a litmus test for my Faith. My love for Israel is a miraculous kind of love, a product of many years of intense study of Scripture. How I feel in my heart about Israel, informs me about my true feelings for God, and whether I am living in His will.

I see that you're trying to make it a matter of perception and make it noble that you look on it as good.

It's not that I choose to see the star of satan - it's that once you read something you can't un-read it. It's like a young boy who plays with a toy machine gun when he's young and he associates them with something fun - playing army with his friends. But send that same man off to war in a few years, when he learns the true meaning of a machine gun, that it's an instrument of death, he no longer looks on it the same way.

I don't feel a love for Israel, I feel a love for God and of the holy. When I pass a church for instance, sometimes I'll feel a 'quickening' in my spirit.

I don't know what the truth is yet but I'm very wary of the flag. I do believe that you do love God and are sincere. We're told to be like the Bereans but when someone actually does question like a Berean some folks don't like it. Some pastors seem to like those who like to be spoon-fed rather than those who think and study for themselves.

Early on I was badly misled by radio preachers and I had to study on my own - I had no one to turn to. I was raised Catholic and returned to see a priest but he told me to return to the Catholic Church. So what if I had listened to him?

Chuck Baldwin has been attacked in the worst ways - by Christians no less - for his evolving beliefs about Israel. But if I were to compare Chuck Baldwin next to the "Christians" who attacked him, guess who comes up as showing more of Christ? I can't tell you how many "Christians" I have seen in my over 40 years of walking with God who were downright ugly to others. It's one thing if they disagree with him but he's been vilified. I just read one pastor who made fun of him and it was shocking; it's as if they can't see their own sinful behavior for trying to point out his supposed error.

I prayed last night about it - I think if we really want the truth God will reveal it.

Your posts are getting more and more weird, and you are seeing bogeymen around every corner. Time for a reality check, and abandonment of all conspiracy hunting.

1. A nation cannot become an offspring of a spirit being, so that was a very wrong statement.
2. The devil controls all the kingdoms of the world at present. No surprises there.
3. Zionism was purely secular and political and was a result of Anti-Semitic persecution of Jews.
4. There is no doubt that a handful of extremely wealthy Jews have a huge influence on world events, and are manipulating them.
5. That does not mean that you smear all Jews as evil.

7. Christians are commanded to love those who are unbelievers, particularly the Jews.
8. God loves the Jews and wants to see them saved. And one day there will be a redeemed and restored nation of Israel under Christ.

10. Christians should fully support any government which stands with Israel against its Muslim and Arab enemies.
11. Christians should be praying for Israel and the Jews, not pointing fingers and being high-minded.
12. Christians should be seriously involved with evangelism in Israel, as well as humanitarian efforts.

What makes YOU the judge of what is true and what isn't? What makes YOU think that YOU can point out some error that you think I'm believing and YOU'RE the one who gets to decide WHO is in error and who is not?

I love rich spiritual discussion - but I see Christians setting themselves up as the final judge of truth. How do you know only you have the truth? Look at all the Pharisees in Christ's day who thought they were so right - but were they? What about the masses who followed the Pharisees - Scripture doesn't talk of them but I'm sure there were plenty of sheep who followed those Judas goats and put down the followers of Christ.

If there are credible pastors - such as Maars and Baldwin and others who see this then maybe there is something to it and maybe we should see if they got it right. But at no time should ANY Christian set themselves up in PRIDE and claim that only they are the ones who possess the truth.

The demonologist told me that someone "invited" evil there at some point. All we know is there was a pentagram (a 6 pointed star) on the side of the shed. Was that painting of the symbol enough to open the door? I don't know if it was only that or if some evil had been practiced in the house. But they saw a bottle lift up off of the railing and crash to the ground. There were other things but I can't say. But I am very very wary of anything to do with symbols.

The Bible tells us that we are to (1) try the spirits, and (2) prove all things. Furthermore we will judge angels. So that makes me a judge of what is true and what is false right now.

When Christians go off on tangents and get into weird and bizarre ideas, they are to be corrected by other Christians, since Scripture is given for both reproof and correction (2 Tim 3:16). And those who are corrected should thank those who correct them, rather than chafe at the correction.
