You believe your eyes have been opened but in fact Satan has deceived you into thinking that the enemies of Trump and America are more virtuous than him. That is a major delusion based upon LIES, LIES, LIES.

I think we have to come to the point of knowing that you or I do not know for certain about Trump. My husband told me when he was a young teen he worked in a restaurant and the owner told him to take the silverware out and put it on a buffet. He accidentally dropped them on the floor, picked them up and put them on the buffet table. The owner called him into the back and reamed him. He told him that all the customers saw him drop the silverware onto the floor and then put it on the buffet table for use. He told him to go gather the silverware off of the buffet table which he did. The owner made him stand there for 10 minutes then walk the same dirty silverware out and place it on the buffet table so the customers would be fooled into thinking it was clean silverware.

There are many and varied deceptions in this world. In the above case the customers were deceived because none had access to the kitchen to see what really went on there. It's the same with Trump. You and I can argue until the cows come home that we're each right but the very real fact remains that neither one of us are in the kitchen.

Our views are constantly evolving based on new experiences and new knowledge. We each have unique experiences in life that may have offered us insight into particular issues that arise.

What I think I see is a blindness in you and a multitude of other Christians; a refusal to look at the very real anti-Christian things that Trump is doing. Do you hold your own self to such loose ethics? Would you brashly claim that you could shoot someone and still your supporters would be behind you? It's as if the powers that be are mocking Christians to their face: You claim to be good-two-shoe Christians? We're going to watch you continue to support a man who is funding the murder of babies, continue to send manufacturing out of America on the "renegotiated" NAFTA, continue the endless wars, spend like a drunken sailor putting the country in debt, and publicly mock a sex act on national TV...and all the good Christians will still support me.

There was the same type of disconnect among the Germans who blindly followed Hitler, turning a blind eye as thousands of Jews were knowingly mistreated and killed. Indeed Trump continues to implement mass surveillance and a militarized police force. This is extremely dangerous as there is now an EPIDEMIC of police violence and rape of young women during traffic stops. There are numerous good and ethical police; I have met some great ones in our city. But we know the other kind is attracted to positions of power. Yet at a rally Trump urged police to use violence against the public. This is really dangerous and some day you may find out just how dangerous it truly is.

I really just began studying Revelations. I used to listen to it on CD a lot but only recently began really reading it and trying to grasp what God is saying. So I don't really feel too qualified to remark on it only that I wondered about the nation of Israel and if it really is who we're to support. I don't know but I'm beginning to doubt it. I know that we're forewarned of end time deceptions so I think we have to walk circumspectly. I'm really concerned when others try to shut down a discussion by accusations of "anti-semitism" when all it truly is, is a questioning of popularly held beliefs.

I told the pastor of our bible study and offered to bring in a sermon and he said "NO!" He refused to even read it. I said "You may be right but what if you're wrong?"

I just think if we're unwilling to question and hold something up to the light then we can court error.

Unfortunately after his experts cite what Scripture actually says, and what History actually fulfills (or lacks fulfilling), Walvoord throws everything out the window and conforms to well established, but FALSE, church doctrines.

This criticism is aimed at his book "Daniel, The Key To Prophetic Revelation", and may apply to his other works. But I can't think of a SINGLE instance where Walvoord got something correct, except maybe that there is a Book of Daniel, and it is in the Bible.

I have read both of those books, but that was waaaay back in March 1974. I have learned a few things in the 45 years since then; and for the most part I no longer read commentaries, but just adhere to what Scripture says. That is really all I need, since I have the guarantee of the Holy Spirit, that He will lead us into all truth. Although I have enjoyed listening to the 71 or so sermons of David Jeremiah on my car radio via audio USB stick. I also have all of J Veron Magee's 5 year through the Bible series, which I will listen to next when I am out driving. I love his approach to Scripture.

The pastor is what I've learned is termed a "Zionist" - he believes (if I"m correct in the terminology - if anyone else knows please comment) that we should support the nation of Israel.

What concerned me about Israel is that a woman in our group years back heavily studied the occult and she gave us a lot of paperwork about the symbolism. The satanic star is actually the flag flying over Israel. So that concerned me. Then I began reading Chuck Baldwin; who I respect. He used to be strong in the Moral Majority I believe. I also read Texe Maars and other pastors who believe the nation of Israel is a counterfeit.

We know that Satan is the great deceiver. I was always cautious about the verse that said "if possible even the elect will be deceived." If anyone has had any severe spiritual battles they come not to revere Satan but respect his power. Even Michael himself didn't dispute with him but said "the LORD rebuke you."
So I began wondering if there was any truth to what they said. I'm still uncertain. I have respect for the pastor at bible study and he gave biblical verses as to why we should support Israel, yet I'm questioning if they're being applied correctly.

God chose the Israelites - we know that from the OT. But I wonder about some verses:

I have read the Bible, and believe it is God's flawless message for me. The Bible is is the most beautiful, oldest, and longest running love story I have ever read. It is a love story about God/Yaweh, and his unfailing love for his unfaithful wife, Israel.

Will God EVER abandon his wife Israel?

When you start trashing Israel and Jews you are treading on very dangerous ground:

When God said those verses about Israel though, was He really referring to the Nation of Israel? We know that Jacob was renamed Israel.

The bible is very deep as we all know. Prior to becoming a Christian, I could not read it - it was as gibberish. Then I began understanding it - slowly - and growing is slow as well. There are still large swaths of the bible God hasn't given me light on yet. But I'm wondering this: Satan has always wanted to be worshipped - we know that from the earliest accounts of his temptations of Christ. So if a satanic star is flying over the Nation of Israel, and at the same time look at the MULTITUDES of Christians who idolize - support...or worship, if you will, the Nation of Israel. Could it be that we've been deceived in worshipping the evil one?

I don't want to claim that I irrefutably know all about this; I'm just looking at it from my non-theological background and simplistically question why Christians are supporting a Nation that flies the satanic flag? I'm looking to see if Pastors such as Chuck Baldwin and Texe Maars got it right. I have respect for both.

In all the verses that you gave - isn't it us that God is talking about? The Jews rejected God's son so why would He be their people? WE'RE His people.
