Why not read what the bible says is the MOB?

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

The MOB allows someone to buy and sell...participate in the economic system.

It is the total rejection of God, and self reliance. If reliance on one's self involves worship that is narcissism.

The mark of the beast was being devoted to the beast (the mark on the head) and doing its will (the mark on the right han)
