Michael the only thing you've done here is quote scripture as you've done numerous times before in this thread, but with NO exegesis. You're now going in circles.
The gospel is NOT the OT, the gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ and the antithesis to Jesus Christ has NOT been revealed.
The Holy Spirit does guide us into all truth, but if the truth is not in line with the written word then it is not the Holy Spirit doing the guiding. It doesn't take the length you put into your posts to make a point, and IMO all the verboseness just obfuscates the issue. You can assert and spout conjecture all you want, but nobody knows the hour or the day, not even Jesus. Matt 24:36
Actually the gospel is found in the old testament in more than one form beginning with the proto evangel in Genesis chapter 3 and most clearly in Isaiah chapter 53.
Nothing in scripture states that the anti-Christ is the antithesis of our Lord, and I'd be thrilled if you could in some way prove that. There is nothing that even suggests that the anti-Christ will know who he is, while Jesus certainly knew Himself.
Now, show me where I've posted anything at all that isn't in alignment with scripture and I'll address it. And when, may I ask have I ever stated that Jesus' return would be on some particular hour or day?
I have a calling to prepare and build up a people for the Lord, to look for His coming, and to serve and protect His own. I've been doing this as a born again believer for about 22 years and as a servant of the Lord for about 28 years prior to that? I've heard my teaching repeated by evangelicals on the radio, though I doubt that they know the source, just as I've repeated theirs, because what we have is from the Spirit of God and the illumination of His word.
What do you have? I haven't seen anything yet, but some chapter and verse labels and some unsupported assertions of your own. Some of my personal experiences have found their way into popular inspirational materials, such as my comments about some star fish that I threw back into the water at Jones Beach when I was a kid, though I have no idea how anyone would know this other than the small group of friends with me, yet it clearly was the work of God. What are your credentials? Have you done anything other than oppose the work of Christ in the preparation of His Church? I'd be pleased to hear anything other than a regurgitation of the same absurd accusations, so if you actually have something to say, then just say it, and if its from the Lord, I'll know it.

There may be prophesies in the OT about the Good News of Jesus Christ but they are NOT the gospel. The anti-Christ is definitely the antithesis of Jesus but if your looking for that word you will be disappointed. Teachings are not always conveyed in the words you like but the theology hold despite that.
Jesus knew who He was when He started His earthly ministry and I'm sure the anti-Christ will know who He is when He becomes apparent. Obviously He will be deceived and will deceive others, but to equivocate about the word and not recognize the person is not really the point of this, is it?
I've pointed it out to you when you've said it Michael so don't play that game of I never said that, then say, I never meant that.
Nobody is called to prepare us for the Lord's return. I find it rather bizarre that you think you were a SERVANT of the Lord 28 years before your were saved. You can only be a servant when you are saved.
Not recognizing the truth in God's word only tells me you don't study His word, only your pet dogmas. Stating you haven't seen anything means you are blind.
Thinking that your thoughts can be so original that no one has thought or expressed them in the past tells me all I need to know about how self absorbed you actually are, and I'm NOT impressed.

Stan, you are without a doubt the most foolish person I've had any communication with on this board, but I suppose its good to be number 1. Its good to know that your omniscient and know all things, since those things you have proposed here are definitely not in scripture.
Every born again believer is called to prepare us for the Lord's return. If you knew Him or ever read the scripture you'd know that. Or perhaps in your great knowledge you'd like to explain to me and to anyone foolish enough to review the comments in this thread, what you believe to be the purpose of born again believers upon this earth. Is it to preach the gospel and make disciples of men? Why? For what purpose? Why does the Lord want us to believe Him? And everyone serves somebody or something, either God or yourself, either sin or righteousness. I don't see where you've pointed out anything except your ignorance.

Being pretentious and facetious when you lose and argument only shows your immaturity Michael.
Continuing to deflect and obfuscate doesn't really help at all, and you should know what you are called to do, not others. Nothing to prepare for IF you are saved and following the LORD.
BTW, sticks and stones....

Hey, lets not forget the new forum rules, guys. We do not want insults flying around. By all means, burst someone's theory but lets stay away from name calling. That in itself does not bring glory to God. How can we love like Christ if we will slander our brethren?

No problem BA, but some people just rub me the wrong way, and this guy is one of them. Maybe we should look at instigation/provocation as a factor to be dealt with?

To the OP

Maybe .... it depends upon whether the human little horn of Daniel's visions is on the earth and executing the changing

This king of the northern Middle East will seek to change the world to Koranic Islamic law and we are seeing glimpses of the same as we speak

Take a look at the new State of Islam created by radical Muslim terrorists in the Middle East

Here is the biblical profile of this human Mahdi [Daniel 7:7-25; 8:9-25; 11:36-45: 12:7]

Is the current leader of the new Islamic State the little horn? .... too early to tell

Okay Stan,
I have some good news and some bad news for you. The Lord doesn't want me to treat you unkindly and to be careful about what I uproot, so the good news is that He will deal with you Himself. The bad news is that He will deal with you Himself.
In three days He will visit you with affliction, but in seven it will be over. I've prayed for you, that this would not be painful, nor cause you great harm. If nothing happens you can just laugh about it and continue in your chosen path and say anything you want about me; after all, God will have proven me a liar and I would deserve to suffer your slights, slanders, and innuendos. If however, the Lord again shows me His favor, then perhaps you will at least learn to acknowledge the Lord in all your ways.

Will you let us stone you when your prophecy turns out not to occur?

BTW, I always acknowledge the LORD....ALWAYS, just as He deals with me ALWAYS.

Yes. absolutely. I would much rather be mistaken than correct and if that were the case, there would be no point to my existence.

Ah the old sick God on people you don't like routine.

A classic.

Just like the God is on my side so you'll fail when you go against God. That one is another standard.

God is just a servant that can be whipped into doing what people please. Need cash tell God how much, need God to get back at someone, go get him God. Need the lottery numbers, oh God be a God boy and go fetch them for me.

Yep just a oily Lil errand boy God is. Whistle him up when things go pear shape. Lovely.

So God is coming to judge is like using Gods, name like a voodoun curse?

Using God to wish ill on another is direct violation of the second great command. Which automatically violates the first.

I recommend you repent this vain use of God and his name now and do it no more.

Continue on this path and you'll have answer to God for it.

Refute the Lord's will ..... and you will have to answer

What else can you do or say?

Not much I think

If you have nothing to contribute related to the Lord's Word why bother?

So its the lords will to make him sick because someone personally displeased you?

Dig dig dig dig that hole.

You don't need to fall into the ditch, you're making one of your own.

This topic has strayed from the OP for a month now without returning to it. I agree it should be locked.
