Is God sending people straight to hell when they die, today?

I'm saying that in order to enter Heaven only the parts of a person that are Holy can get through the gates. ALL sin nature is left behind and cast into hell. So.....everyone goes to Hell (at least a portion of them does) but the part of me that rejoices in righteousness goes on into Heaven.
The parts of me and my identity that are exercises of faith.
"Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness".
So those who not only believe God but act accordingly to that belief see Heaven. The parts of a "Saint's" personality that behaves selfishly and in ignorance does not go but gets sent to hell.
That is a very peculiar way of seeing those things, JohnDB. If you would like to know my thoughts, our sin nature is shredded once we live this body. All sins have been taken care of, and all people are said to be raised again by the Lord Yeshua himself. There seems to be people who are murderous, there are a few other categories named by John in Revelation 22, that lives on the outside of the city gates in the heavenly realm. Do not know if you knew that or not or ever heard of it, but thought it would be good to share with you. Maybe you are right, in your way, and maybe my way is wrong. Idk, it is after all our speculation based on scripture itself.

Well God does not send a single soul there. People send themselves by their own self and God just pronounces what their life earned while living.
I place my hope in Jesus. I do not like that th evast supermajority of mankind spends eternity in to the lake of fire! But this is the reality that God placed in the Scriptures.

The soul is immortal. It is seperate from the body of man and the spirit of man which in those who do not believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus is dead.
That is why God inspired Paul to write this:
1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So I guess you think that Jesus is not divine, nor did He rise physically from the dead, nor is He king of kings and Lord of Lords! I am not Catholic, but they have gotten many things right!
And no it is biblical and not just catholic.
That is common phrase “people send themselves there.”
God made it for a purpose; and it seems they are put there because sin was not paid for yet. It is interesting he created it to hold faithful and faithless people and angels.
Everyone went to hell; before it was done away with. Even Jesus went to hell, Enoch, Elijah, Abraham, Cain, Adam, Eve. All of them.

Just let me add the RCC has many deadly errors as well . let no man , woman , child or perhaps even ya dog enter into them chambers .

Now you are talking about the place of the dead and not the eternal abode which is the lake of fire.
Prior to Jesus physically ascending in to heaven, there were three compartments to hell (the grave or place of the dead)
1. Abrahams bosom/Paradise- where the righteous souls went awaiting jesus to have shed His blood.
2. Place of torments- where the unrighteous lost go awaiting the lake of fire.
3. Tartarus- Where the angels who rebelled in Gen. 6 are bound awaiting the lake of fire.
Satan and his angels are still loose and deceiving people.
Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Yes, man is an interloper in the lake of fire. but it was the consequences of the choice Adam made!
Remember the rapture! All Christians alive and dead will be caught up into heaven.
OT saints (in the grave=Abrahams bosom) were taken to heaven when Jesus ascended as spoken in ephesians 4.
Then in Rev. 20 we have the first resurrection in verse 5. Which is all the trib saints who died and awaited the first resurrection unto life.
The second resurrection in Revelation 20 is for all who died in the lost state! They stand before the Great white throne and sentenced to the lake of fire.

Youre a smart man and have made your mind. Thats great. I dont follow or believe your own teachings. I believe all these things have passed.
The answer is no. Today people rise to judgement upon death, recieve thier God given spiritual body and places on the outside of the kingdom, or the inside.
Everyone who just focuses on Revelation 20 are being unwise to continue to go into the the new… 21-22.
