In regard to what Jesus said to Peter, it appears that the Apostle John's presumption is in error.

martyrdom is exactly where Peter wanted to go.”

Dear Lord, what is THAT supposed to mean?

Just an opinion but the place most desired to not go…2 Corinthians 12:19-21 Again, think you that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying. [20] For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as you would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: [21] And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

You said :”martyrdom is exactly where Peter wanted to go.”

Dear Lord, what is THAT supposed to mean?”

The about helps Imo with “dear Lord, what is that?” The above where they were blaming Paul and others sent of making gain…slandering, falsely accusing, back-biting, swellings…where Paul said “we do all things for your edification”. To be that is the most undesired place to go…to fall, brought low, humbled in the sight of God. Seriously the effort in trying to avoid appearance hurt …how much today the facade is gripped tightly, white knuckles … the word mentions not coming to the light that their deeds be made known and reproved. Instead to love the darkness more than the light.

Do you really understand this most decisive fact? Peter more than welcomed the idea of becoming a martyr. Crucifixion is EXACTLY where Peter WANTED to go. So, then. Where is it that Jesus is saying Peter “does NOT want to go”?

thank You, do you believe Jesus is the only way to heaven?

Yes John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Wow. So much for my plan.

I come back from “a hard day at the office” only to find out that, while I was gone, the entire house has turned into utter chaos! Flashes of lightning in the windows. Rumblings in the basement. Peals of thunder rocking the timbers. An earthquake shaking the foundations! And, even heavy hail hammering the roof!

I thought I was being nice when I let “mum” stay over to watch the place. Ouch... but, apparently, she and the old man have had some history (of which, even me and the other kids are unaware). “Dad” came bustin’ in the place and went “face2face” with her! (lol)

Hi @dad. You are more than welcome to stay in here with us (if you’d like) and join this conversation. If, nothing else, it may get you out of divorce court (even re-tie the knot with “your beloved” in here). lol —You and mum (face2face) may have more in common than you think! Before we are done in here, you might be picking up one end (and her the other) when y’all throw the couch at me.

@theefaith went off on the Protestant solas. I spent most of my time tonight (well, now I guess it’s last night) reading every one of his utterances — along with the Scripture he cited to back up what he wrote. An outstanding presentation of Scripture, in support of his commentary. Saves me down-the-road time and effort. But, as to where the discussion is right now, we are, indeed, getting way ahead of ourselves.

Within the mix of face2face’s ramblings, accusations, insults and false logic, he/she asks, “I wonder what your true motive is here?”

I have Truthfully told you a dozen times.

When will you participants ever stop browsing and start reading?

face2face, when will you ever get your head out of your donkey? (You do know the Biblical Word for donkey, don’t you?) For the fourth time, I am not your enemy. I am not here “to bring Paul down” or to prove that ALL Scripture is wrong because John made a simple, presumptive mistake, duh, which means the entire Bible’s a mistake, which means we ALL need to put guns to our heads! SO... we better prove that The Third One is wrong — that John didn’t make a mistake — so we don’t have to kill ourselves! Otherwise, our entire cause is lost and over!

You don’t even know the cause you should be fighting for.

You are not fighting to support Scripture. You are fighting to support manmade dogma that is 95% wrong.

You are not fighting to support Jesus’ Concept and his Mission. You are fighting to support the status quo. Why don’t you open your eyes and take a good look at it?

I keep begging you to look at the status quo. Are you blind? Or do you just don’t care? Are Paul and Peter and “the Church” more important to you than correcting the disaster Jesus predicted? The disaster is alive and well.

Look outside “the Church.” What do you see? 100% — slaves of sin. Look inside “the Church.” What do you see? 100% — slaves of sin. Do you suggest that we keep doing this for another 2000 years? Hello? May I have your attention, please. It’s not working!

The lights are on, but there is no one at home. Our Two-Thousand Year Progress Report is as bad (if not worse) than the two-thousand years preceding it!

What’s the solution? Revival? LOL.

What Christendom needs is a What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross revival. Unfortunately, she’s never had one.

I heard a Christian talk-radio personality recently voice a familiar challenge. “What America needs is a moral awakening!”

I disagree.

The awakening America needs is the same awakening the Christian radio personality needs for himself. The same awakening our priests and pastors need. The awakening Christianity needs. The awakening needed across the world.

What we ALL need is a What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross awakening.

My “true motive” is to wake you up. What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross is a GIFT. And, batteries are required. Five of them (five wonderfully simple Words of Jesus). The gift is right on the table in front of you. And, there it has sat for the last 2000 years. The batteries to empower the gift have been wrapped up and BURRIED. Whether you truly TAKE What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross or NOT has always been up to you. My “true motive” is to help you to at least SEE the gift — ALL powered up.

If that “brings Paul down,” so be it. If that brings the Church down, I could care a less. Good riddance! If that brings Christianity down, so be it. NONE OF THAT is as important as you TRULY ACCEPTING the PURE POWER of What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross. No ifs. No ands. No buts. Undiluted. PERFECT-Grace. You have never experienced the pure power of it. I can promise you, sin is no match for it. Then, perhaps, we can start calling Jesus’ Mission what it should be called. What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Crossianity.

As I have found you, you are as blind as Jesus found the Pharisees. You cannot recognize a Gift when you see one. You are dead asleep. You have not the first clue. The Church is a Ditch, run by the blind. And, that is where you get your information. Oh, sure, you read the Scriptures, but the Church is loud in your ear as you read them.

Whichever Church-Taught “Atonement Theory” that you have chosen to “believe in,” is in dire error — for ALL six of them are in dire error! They ALL promote the power of sin. Not the power of the cross.

You love it when your teachers give you their little word-reversals. Here’s one from the Holy Spirit I’d bet you’ve never heard before: If you see your sin, you are blind to what’s been done for you on the cross. However, if you Truly see what’s been done for you on the cross, you are blind to your sin.

Why would truly seeing What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross, make you blind to your sin? Because once you truly accept What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross, then, truly, you have no sin. For, ALL of your sin has been taken AWAY. Which makes you PERFECT. Which makes it very easy for you to love yourself. Which makes it very easy for you to love others as you love yourself.

We should already be discussing the five Words of Jesus that the Church has flat out buried. Pearls. Buried deep, where we were never suppose to find them.

At this rate, we never will.

Do you even recall which five Words?

You don’t, do you. Even though I always print them in CAPS for you.

This is so pathetic. And, quite grueling for me. Because you keep arguing with me. You cannot be taught. Honestly, I was so close to being done with you. I have lingered here, because I know it is not your fault. You have been prevented from listening.

Or... what else could it be? Pearls before swine?

We should, at least, already be knee-deep into Romans 6:16. Yet, you have chosen to avoid that discussion like the plague! Again, just like the Pharisees. Fearful.

Since theefaith cannot wait to do an exposé on the many problems he sees with the Reformed Church (and there are TONS more than what he listed) we really need to preface that discussion by honestly looking at a few major problems, which started with the Formed Church.

The Early Church actually “believed” in Jesus’ literal use of the Word RANSOM. Only, the theology (if one could call it that) sounded less like a thesis from the Pope’s round table and much more like a movie script born out of a Hollywood pitch room:

Adam and Eve sold ALL of humanity over to Satan. In response, God turned Jesus over to Satan as a RANSOM to pay off the devil.

A thousand years of this idiocy… until Anselm of Canterbury (another great Christian “thinker”) finally debunked the theory in the twelfth century. Replacing it with destructive idiocy. For, with “The Satisfaction Theory” the Jesus-Word, “RANSOM” was buried completely. And, in its place, “the Church” gave us a new Church word. “Satisfaction.”

What was the problem with the Church’s “RANSOM Theory”?

Not a one of the Neanderthal “Church fathers” could figure out who gets the RANSOM. Anselm successfully argued: The theory gives the devil far too much power. How could God ever owe anything to Satan? I propose that what actually happened is this: Jesus died on the cross in order to pay back the huge sin-debt that mankind owes to God. And, so... actually... God... gets the RANSOM.

ALL the Pope’s horses and ALL the Pope’s men (supposedly wise men — lol) immediately loved the idea. Only one problem. This theory puts God in the role of the kidnapper. That is exactly why they threw the Word RANSOM under the bus — (about two miles under the bus). They buried it deep. And, completely replaced it with “satisfaction.”

Certainly, the devil would not want the RANSOM. And, God is neither a Kidnapper nor a Slave Owner. Would it help if I were to teach you this... in nursery rhyme? ALL the Pope’s horses and ALL the Pope’s whiz… couldn’t determine who the kidnapper is.

There were a gazillion other problems plaguing the first fifteen-hundred years of the Church. (Ya think?) If not, the Reformation would have never taken place. So many problems, the Church reformers had no neutral point of reference from which to see the entire cornucopia of problems.

And, yet, the solas were supposed to solve ALL of the problems. It is unfortunate that none of the fathers of the Reformation ever got around to considering PERFECT-Grace “ALONE.”

Instead, they bogged themselves down with more solas. As, theefaith points out, five solas to be exact. No sola can truthfully stand “Alone” if you add anything to it. Especially another sola. Much less five solas.

It’s like starting a physics theses by saying that Bob (a boy) stands on the red table “Alone” with four other boys also standing on the same red table “Alone.”

I noticed we’ve now heard from another country. @VictoryinJesus, welcome and thanks for your comments. You are set for take-off, but there is still one more pilot ahead of you I need to address for take off.

Okay… boys, girls (and ALL others)… back to the beginning we go.

@face2face starts off his/her rather excited rant by declaring:“Self delusion runs havoc in this thread.”

Come on, do you really mean that? I hope not. To me, that sounds like pure emotion talking. I thought you were the most honest man in the room. Correction: You’re the most honest woman in the room — unfortunately, your PMS just shot off the charts. (A sexist would say!) Sorry, a little Gutfield humor there.

If not that, then it certainly sounds like what an Atheist would say.

And, I know you’re not an Atheist, no matter how wrong the rest of my perception of you has been. See? I can admit when I’ve made a mistake. Two mistakes. I thought you were a man. And, I thought you were honest.

You purport: “Nothing is predicted...other than Peter's agape love for Christ would led him to his death!”

Is that really your answer for everything we have already belabored at this point? Is this your counter-plan? “Nothing is predicted?”

Do you know what the Word “will” means?

It is not a reference to the past. Nor the present. Jesus has already reminded Peter about his total FREEDOM in the past. You did as you pleased with your own body… and walked wherever you wanted (even on water). However, “When you are old, you will extend your hands and another will gird you, and carry you where you do not want to go.” To slavery. Romans 6:16 will prove that beyond ALL doubt (if we can ever get to it).

And you are honestly saying, "This is not a prediction"?

Well… it is certainly not a prediction of Pete’s death. “Gird” and “where you DON”T want to go” rule out the possibility of crucifixion. Undisputedly.

Nor is it a prediction of “Peter's agape love for Christ.

On the contrary, Jesus has already questioned Peter’s love for him... two times.

Each time Peter says, “Yes, I love you”; to which Jesus immediately counters, “Then, feed my sheep.”

Which, we ALL know, did not happen.

How many New Testament quotes do you guys fire back and forth to each other that Peter fed to you? And, how many from Paul’s kitchen?

The Truth (as well as THE REALITY of what has come to be) is beyond overwhelming.

In theefaith’s dissertation, I count 3 quotes he included from Peter. Ready for no surprise? Open your eyes.

He used 34 quotes from Paul!

See the disaster Jesus was PREDICTING? Peter, you are the one I trained for 3 years... to "FEED MY SHEEP."

Theefaith, in turn, is feeding us — over ten times more — with Paul’s food, than with Peter’s.

Even 90% of our "Peter quotes" might as well have Paul’s name on them. For, Paul’s name is written ALL over them! Exactly as Jesus predicted!

“ANOTHER will gird you, and carry you (— meaning, Peter and ALL the rest of us — ) where you do not want to go.”

The REALITY (of how amazingly TRUE this is) could even actually bring a few Atheists around. Their biggest argument against Jesus’ prophecies coming True, is always: “Well, these are merely ‘self-fulfilling prophecies,’ brought about by his followers.” Certainly not in this case, since his followers (even John) had no idea... exactly... what it was... he was predicting.

Honestly, I am trying to help clue you in... to… exactly… what it was... he was predicting. At the room’s pace. I am trying to teach you, one step at a time, as much as you can stand in one feeding. But, this is getting almost to the point of stupidity. I am close to grabbing the reins hard and moving us forward to Romans 6:16. But, I respect your ignorance.

While you disrespect my knowledge: “It's very clear you havn't a clue about the Scripture and its meaning.”

That comes from a man/woman who claims: the Word, “‘Another’ is merely Jesus referencing to Peter: ‘the change from a young impetuous man to one clothed with humility’.”

Okay. Let’s plug that light-bulb into the Works and see how it glows.

John 21:18 (The F2F Version) “The change from a young impetuous man to one clothed with humility will gird you, and carry you where you do not want to go.”

I do not “dislike” Paul. And, I have never denied the Apostleship of Peter. You should shove your words down your own throat and choke on them: “You can't see the Lords mind on this so you fabricate some cockamamie story to fit (your dislike of The Third One so that you can save your OWN pathetic ‘Faith’) - it's lame! Worse than lame, its an arrogance and incompetence.”

A Christian would tell you to “examine your heart,” brother, but Jeremiah quite knowledgably tells us, “The heart is the most deceitful thing.”

Do you really “believe” that Jesus was encouraging Peter to be led off to crucifixion?

Do you really “believe” that Jesus wanted Peter to be crucified for "the cause"?

Wasn’t what Jesus did for Peter on the cross, enough?

If John could speak to you face to face, face2face, and personally admit to you that he simply made an honest, incorrect assumption, you still wouldn’t “believe” it. It would be easier, boxed into your brainwashed belief-system, as you are, to “believe” that the person standing before you is only the devil, dressed up like John, who is telling you ALL this!

You don’t want to be able to hear LIVE from the Apostle John. “Please dont!” you request.

Well, okay bro (or sis)... don’t worry. You got your wish. Saves John the trouble. After ALL, you’re my problem, not his. But, you cannot stop John from talking to you from the Scriptures.

The Apostles (James and John) mistakenly presumed that it was a good idea to wipe out an entire city:

Luke 9:54-55 (KJV) “James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them. But he (Jesus) turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.”

If John were actually HERE, in this room, what do you think he would tell us? “Hey, it was no mistake at ALL on me and James’ part. We should have leveled that city!”

My guess would be, no. John is on Team Light. Therefore, he is ALL about the Truth. He clearly knows that the Truth is more important than he is. I think, in retrospect, John would thank God (for the sake of the city) that Jesus was there to curb his mistaken presumption.

And, when ALL the Apostles mistakenly presumed what Jesus meant by something else Jesus said in his Good-Bye speech — that John would never die. John himself was the one who came to their “Let’s-Get-It-Right” rescue.

REPEAT:

John 21:23 (NIV) “Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he (‘this disciple’ — John) would not die; he only said, ‘If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?’”

Likewise, Jesus did not say to Peter: Peter, you will be crucified upside-down.

He only said, “You will extend your hands and another will gird you, and carry you where you do not want to go.” To slavery.

Only in OUR hindsight can the Holy Spirit correct John's mistaken presumption.

So who is HERE, willing and able, to help John with his wrong assumption... this time (what he assumed Jesus was saying to Peter)? Jesus has physically gone forward to his Second Coming in the future. And, John is unable to go back to where his mind, spirit and body already ARE.

John would thank me for BEING HERE for him to get it right.

So would Peter and Paul. Because we are ALL on the same Team.

You're grabbing nothing here!

Romans 6:16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or obedience resulting in righteousness?

Both Paul & Peter revealed the latter and while Peter took a little longer to catch up to Paul in terms of accepting the adoption of the Gentiles both ended up at 2 Timothy 4:8.

@theefaith asks, Are you saved? If yes: how were you saved?

LOL. Now, I warned you, if you found the totality of my religion education funny, you would find my “salvation story” hilarious. And, by the way, in place of “saved” I would say... RANSOMED. And, yes, I have been RANSOMED, or saved, whatever you'd like to call it.

What Evangelicals refer to as “salvation” I got at the age of six. First grade. Parochial school. One of the nuns must have said something to us kids about Jesus having died for the sins of the world. My internal response to this news was instantaneous and, as Time would tell, revolutionary.

“Cool. I’ll take that. Now, I don’t ever have to worry about sin.”

That was that. No stars. No bells. No whistles. Just an unknowing teacher giving us another boring speech about Jesus. That’s a fact. She was unknowing as to what had just transpired in her classroom. No Catholic nun would have suspected any serious response from the likes of us. A quiet troop of yard apes, chained to our wrap-around-desks. Forced to listen to “blah-blah-blah... Jesus died for the sins of the world... blah-blah-blah...” — much less “the sins” already piled-up upon our own little wicked plates. We were six-year-olds. I mean, come on. This was 1967. How many mortal or even venial sins could a kept-comfortably middle-class child possibly commit (back then) between the ages of newborn and six?

The revolutionary part was that I grabbed it. I took it.

None of that knees to the floor, arms raised on high, shouting the metaphorical Warshed-In-the-Blood religious defecation. Yes, that’s the word for it. Metaphorical. (Not metaphysical.)

I simply took PERFECT-Grace. For myself. That instant. Rather nonchalantly. Yet, for Real. Like taking an apple from a fruit basket. Instantly terminating the concept of worrying about sin. As in, never having to concern myself with it... forevermore. Same as Forest Gump terminated the concept of worrying about money when he learned of his Apple stock.

“One less thing.”

Granted, against the monstrously serious, incapacitating reality of “SIN” this was a childishly ignorant and notably effortless stand on my part. Jesus died for my sins. That means I don’t ever have to worry about sin. One less thing.

Unpretentious and undeniably, a pure stand. By-God, it was a PERFECT stand. PERFECT in many ways, including its most valuable way. The way we think way. In other Words... it was PERFECTLY psychologically undefeatable.

Matthew 11:25 (KJV) “...thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.’”

It is rare for someone with any wisdom and prudence to stick-with a childish and simple-minded conclusion. We revise and replace most of our childhood conclusions. Santa brings the presents turns into mom and dad are behind ALL this. They found me under a cabbage leaf gets modified into the stork brought me and ultimately replaced with, “Wow. Now that’s totally different.” However, the sins-AWAY/cross-thing was one childhood conclusion that no one could sway, disprove nor dismiss out of me. Not even the most frank and brutal critic of them ALL.

Time.

Truth is, as I kept getting older, wiser and more prudent, it became more and more apparent to me that (in our physical realm at least) Time was the only established old icon in PERFECT agreement with me.

At age seventeen, I remember shaking my head in innocent laughter during a conversation with one of my high school friends. Stan. He was extremely intelligent. He was also a rock & roll lead guitarist... that is... until he became a Born-Again Christian (almost overnight). I could not help but laugh as he preached to the choir — me (Heaven’s Choirboy) — on and on, religiously ignoring the choir and its solo a-Cappello question...

“Stan, if you really ‘believe’ he died for your sins, why are you still so concerned about your ‘sins’?”

There was absolutely no getting through to him. It was as if Stan had been irreversibly brainwashed. I was talking to a brick wall. Likewise, what I had personally come to accept with the Living God would never pass Stan’s test. Nor the test of any other Church-Taught Christian as the proving years marched on.

The only test it continued to pass was the test of Time.

I am here to tell you (and I am blessed to have had a healthy-enough body not to have been killed by it), when I was twenty-five, it rang True at the highest spiritual level a human being can possibly reach (on this side of eternity). The Tenth Floor.

And, (as I have already told you) when I returned (closer to the Ground Floor) the Scriptures upheld every Word.

Let’s move on to the @VictoryinJesus post. For, I did promise her that she was next in line for take off.

Hope you don’t mind, dear Victory — me answering theefaith’s good question first. He pulled up in front of you on the runway, so the Tower — (not the JW one, lol) the Holy Spirit — had no choice but to give him clearance for take off.

Just listen to Paul go at it! For I am afraid that when I come, I may not find you as I wish, and you may not find me as you wish. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, rage, rivalry, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorder. I am afraid that when I come again my God will humble me before you, and I will be grieved over many who have sinned earlier and have not (repented) of the impurity, sexual sin and debauchery in which they have indulged.

@VictoryinJesus, you are exactly right. This is the very problem, about which Jesus is warning Peter. As anyone can plainly read, Paul is extremely afraid of… “SIN.” Paul is up on his typical soap box, warning everyone about… “SIN.” Paul is afraid he’ll come back and find other people… in “SIN.” It is obvious what Paul considers to be… “SIN.” That’s the full thrust of what Paul is always talking about. Quarreling, jealousy, rage, rivalry, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorder. Paul concludes with three of his favorite Pharisee-Extremist, were-gonna-stone-ya-to-death... SINS. Impurity, sexual-SIN and debauchery; but, the greatest of these, is sexual-SIN. (Yep, lol... that was a Paul-Pun)

Please notice the specific words in Paul’s speech: Not... (repented) What Paul actually said here, was “having changed your minds.” Unfortunately, Paul had no idea what Jesus meant by “Change your mind.”

Neither do the Church-Taught have the first clue. That’s why they OVERDUBED “Change your mind” with the Church word, “repent.” Much more on that momentarily, back to Paul’s two verses (listed above).

Anyone awake and with eyes can plainly see, Paul is a slave to the very way of thinking, to which Jesus is warning Peter about.

Now, my dear Victory, you are going to have to think Out-Of-The-Box to fully understand the HUGE change of thinking that Jesus is talking about — the Jesus Concept way of thinking — which Paul has so obviously completely lost. Paul understood it for a split second, but he went right back to his Pharisee-Extremist ways.

Where is it that Jesus is saying Peter “does NOT want to go”?

Back to being a slave to sin.

A huge part of being a slave to sin, is being concerned about ALL of what anyone considers to be sin. Jesus is warning Peter that, although Jesus had CURED Peter of that way of thinking, Paul would tie Peter’s hands in front of him, gird him, and take him right back into being a slave to the excruciating power of… SIN.

Truly accepting the Jesus Concept, destroys that way of thinking. Jesus is warning Peter that, even though Peter had been CURED of that way of thinking, Paul would bring Peter FULLY back into it.

So then (ouch)… we have both Paul and Peter and the rest of the remaining Apostles (John not as ruined as the others) not talking about what’s been done for us on the cross. They’re talking about SIN.

Truly, its one or the other. SIN. Or What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross.

Once you truly accept What’s-Been-Done-For-Us-On-the-Cross, you have no sin. You no longer have any worries about “sin.” For ALL of your SIN (past, present and future) have been taken AWAY.

Paul is very worried about SIN.

What does that tell you?

Let’s put Paul aside… and talk about you for a second.

How has ALL this rhetoric influenced you? What happened to: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes AWAY the SIN of the world”?

MY dear brothers and sisters, IF he died for your SIN… then he died for your sins. ALL of them -- ALL of your past, present and future sin.

If you truly accept that he has died for your SIN, 100%, with no ifs, ands or buts… then… Why are you still so concerned about your sins?

Because you have not truly accepted what’s been done for us on the cross. (And, neither had Paul. And, Paul got Peter to see things his way. Ouch.)

It is simple to truly accept what’s been done for you on the cross. It’s a gift. ALL you have to do is truly take it.

Unfortunately, you have been programmed not to do so. Brainwashed.

Because of that, it would be a thousand times easier for you, had you never heard anything about Jesus. And, we could start from scratch. That is why Jesus said, it will be much easier for the people of Sodom to get it, than the pure, righteous, RELIGIOUS PEOPLE of Capernaum (who had already been polluted by the Pharisees’ way of thinking — the way of thinking that goes ALL the way back to their teacher and their master — Master Knowledge of Good & Evil).

Imagine how easy it will be at “the judgment,” for the worse sinner of Sodom to truly accept what’s been done for us on the cross, when he hears it straight up, for the first time, from the mouth of Jesus. “Sure! I’ll take that! And, be on my merry way!”

Because of what Jesus accomplished, there will only be one “work” by which we will ALL be judged:

Have you truly accepted, 100%, with no ifs, ands and buts, that what’s been done for you on the cross, takes ALL of your sin AWAY?

It is still simple to do so… if only you will allow it.

Only if you will allow yourself to be deprogrammed, that is. Un-brainwashed. (ouch)

Really, it is pretty simple.

One by one, you simply have to take ALL the “ifs,” “ands” and “buts” to the curb.

The disease we bear as humans is not a theological problem. Jesus plainly tells us, that what each generation has contracted (and continues to pass on to the next generation) is a psychological problem. “We need to change our way of thinking.” What is Jesus’ prescription for us?

RANSOM

What is our response? Instead of following Jesus to the simple and immediate cure, we have put our confidence in the ongoing, repetitive and never-ending practice of a Paul/Augustine-Guided Church, subscribing a placebo-remedy for a false diagnosis — “the Fall of Man.” We have put our very souls in the hands of authentic savages, doing a medicine dance for the repetitive remission of brain cancer that (self-admittedly) “cannot be cured in this lifetime.”

MAN has fallen (and he can’t get up) so he must be “justified by ‘faith’.”

The Church remains perpetually trapped in this gibberish, trying to make sense of it. Like a crack addict, chasing what can never be found. Hello? The meaning never existed in the first place. It is the dogma, itself, empty and barren, that screams for “justification.”

The Church has spent two thousand years defining, redefining and altering the Word of God, producing a mountain of garble, trying to justify meaninglessness. And... after ALL this... what is the Church-Prescription for us?

REPENT!

Repent of your sins and be saved!

Let’s make sure we pass this concocted lie on to the next generation. Are you certain that your kid’s and grandkid’s eyes and ears have been rendered dysfunctional and useless? If so, then your children and grandchildren are ready for another news flash.

The ancient equivalent of the English word “repent” never came out of the mouth of any inspired Old Testament prophet. Likewise, the equivalent of the word “repent” never came out of John the Baptist’s mouth. Most notably, the equivalent of the word “repent” never came out of the mouth of Jesus of Nazareth.

The actual Words that did come out of their mouths is: “Change your mind.”

In the year 1989AD, an anonymous Greek scholar wrote an essay about the Christian word “repent” and submitted it to a group of renown Christian theologians. The Greek scholar chose eminent domain over copyright. Why would this well-known Greek Scholar choose total anonymity over fame? To keep from being systematically ostracized by the Christian community (of which his livelihood depends). His findings serve as nothing less than an indictment, indicating just how far off-track the teachings of Christianity have derailed us... compared to what Jesus actually taught.

You may have already guessed it. The essay fell on deaf Mature-Christian ears.

Most remarkably (and again, noteworthy) the contents, to this day, stand entirely undisputed. What a syndrome. The best minds of Christianity remain unwilling to accept the Truth — even as they stand unable to argue against the Truth.

Here is an excerpt from the essay:

“‘Repent’ is probably the most misunderstood word in the Christian vocabulary. The original Greek word does not mean, to ‘turn AWAY from sin,’ to ‘quit sinning,’ to ‘feel sorry for sin’ or to ‘change your sinful ways so you can be saved.’

“To understand the true meaning, one must first learn a bit of history about the Greek language used in the New Testament.

“There have been many types of Greek in the past, most of which are obsolete now, but in the days of Alexander the Great a number of Greek languages existed.

“After Alexander had conquered the known world (around 300BC) he had a problem communicating with the many Greeks under his rule. Rather than learn ALL the different types of Greek himself, Alexander invented a Greek language called ‘Koine’ or common Greek. It was common in that ALL the Greek-speaking world would be required to learn it in order to resolve the communication problem.

“This new Greek language was very precise and mathematical in its precision. Every word had a four-fold navigational fix. A word could have only one meaning. It could have several applications, but only one interpretation.

“In English, words can have several meanings, but not in the Koine Greek. It was one word. One meaning. In other words, there was no doubt about what a person said in this language.

“Eventually, this language became the dominate language of the New Testament.

“If you look up ‘repent’ in your handy Bible dictionary, you will likely discover that it gives a definition of everything that I said repent is not: to ‘turn AWAY from sin,’ to ‘quit sinning,’ to ‘feel sorry for sin’ or to ‘change your sinful ways so you can be saved.’

“Why is this?

“Dictionaries get their definitions of a word from its common usage without regards to the original language from which it was translated. Historically, the word ‘repent’ is an obsolete English word. The word was not used in the Scriptures until (the King James Bible came along in) 1611AD. The serious problem is, ‘repent,’ in no way reflects the actual meaning.

“Compound words were very common in the Koine Greek and this brings us to our subject.

“In the New Testament there are two different Greek words which, beginning with the King James Bible, have since been translated ‘repent.’ They are Metanoeo and Metamellamai.

1. Metanoeo. This is a compound word. “Meta” means change. “Noeo” means thinking. Derived from “nous” which means mind. So, metanoeo means to “change your mind.”

2. Metamellamai. This is also a compound word. “Meta” means change. “Mellamai” means emotions. So, metamellamai means to have a “change of emotions.”

Upon fact-checking his claims, I found everything this renowned Greek scholar wrote about “repent” to be the undisputable, God’s-honest Truth. There is no other valid Greek-to-English translation for metanoeo and metamellamai. Keep in mind, every word in the Koine Greek has “a four-fold navigational fix.”

Moreover, I found the exact same ecclesiastical-monkey-business happening with the word “repent” in the Old Testament.

Original Hebrew: יִנָּחֵ֥ם

Transliteration: yin-nā-ḥêm

English translation: “Change their minds” or “Change their way of thinking.”

How did the Catholic bandwagon first translate these Words into the Latin Vulgate?

By substituting metanoeo and yin-nā-ḥêm for: paenitentiam agite.

Okay. What does paenitentiam agite literally mean in plain English?

“Do penance.”

Question. How does one substitute “Do penance” for “Change your mind”?

There is no accurate answer for that question. Nevertheless... in comes the Protestant bandwagon. Come on Reformers. Wake up. Where are you when we really need you? The Reformer Bible-Makers (Luther and Tyndale) had complete access to the Koine Greek New Testament. Question: Why did these staunch “Reformers” not reform this obvious Church-Error (“do penance”)?

To this question, there is an answer. The Reformers were victims of the same brainwash. Consequentially, none of the Reformers had any opposition to the Formed-Church Fundamentals already stamped upon their brains. This is truly the worst problem that comes along with religious brainwashing. Having no idea where FREE thought begins and religious dogma ends. To a Paul/Augustinian-Church-Taught zealot, fundamental dogma never ends. The Reformers were so anxious to find a Protestant-Substitution for the Catholic-Latin (paenitentiam agite) — their heads consumed with not needing priests anymore to “do penance” — they completely missed what Jesus originally said. And, so... they simply subbed-out “do penance” with...

“Repent.”

This is very important. Do the research. Even though I and others have done it for you, you should not trust us. Learn these facts for yourself. SEEING is “believing.” In this case, SEEING is KNOWING. The word “repent” starts with Tyndale — his Do-It-Yourself-Penance “translation” was Protestant-Welcomed and enthusiastically applied throughout the KJV Bible. And so... in every verse of Scripture where the prophets, the Apostles, John the Baptist or Jesus of Nazareth use the Holy Spirit-Inspired Words “Change your mind” the Church-Taught publishers of the King James Bible insert the word “repent.”

Nearly ALL Christian Bible publishers since then have followed suit.

Accepting the inserted practice of “repentance” is a major stumbling block to truly accepting what’s been done for us on the cross. Obviously, the practice of repentance means that our sins have... not... been taken AWAY. They are still very much... here. So, we just have to deal with them — religiously.

“Repent” is not an English translation. Worse than an insertion. Worse than religious nonsense. It is an outright lie. The only truthful English translation for metanoeo is “Change your mind” or “Change your way of thinking.”

The Church rebuts: Picky, picky. It’s not a bad lie. What’s wrong with repentance?

The answer to this question is written ALL over our 2000-Year Progress Report. Practicing the lie takes our focus entirely AWAY from addressing the Real problem. Why DO we need to change our way of thinking? What IS the problem with our continued way of thinking? Duh. Unfortunately, “the Church” has prevented us from SEEING the clear answer written in Scripture: “The Knowledge of Good & Evil.” Our eyes have been burned out of our heads. We see fairytales: The Fall of Man and Original Sin.

We have had nineteen centuries of Christian pilots creating their own Gospel. The first pilot squadron destroyed the cure, replacing “change your mind” with “do penance” and “repent.” The next group of pilots added “of your sins” into the mix, giving us “Repent of your sins!” The next bunch of flyboys added “and be saved” into the cauldron. Now we have “Repent of your sins and be saved!”

“Turn AWAY from sin! Repent, and be saved!”

Proliferated by the “the Church.” This... is... her ongoing “gospel.”

The Church-Taught ask, “What’s wrong with this gospel?”

You mean, besides the fact that it is an outright lie? Let’s break down the lie. The Knowledge of Good & Evil is our problem. Sin is the result. “The sinner” is a trillion-to-one outgunned at fighting sin. The more he tries to fight it, the more power he gives to it.

The cure is simple. Drain the problem (The Knowledge of Good & Evil) of ALL power, and the result of the problem (sin) will absolutely die and become NOTHING.

No! say the Christian Doctors, pilots and flight crew (those antibodies hard at work at fighting the cure). If we throw out the lie (“repent”) our entire house falls apart. THAT would be Evil. The lesser-of-Evils is to keep the lie going by adding truth INTO the lie.

And, so... you have it. Adding truth... into... the lie. “Standing orders” for how “the Church” historically operates.

We will hold on to our idiocy and lies until it becomes obvious (to ALL those who know better around us) that we are idiots and liars. At THAT point, we have no choice but to find a way to alter and weave our idiocy and lies INTO the fabric of REALITY.

Today (actually from 2018 and onward) when you log on to most any Christian internet site and look up the definition of “repent,” you are likely to discover that the meaning of “repent” has recently been altered, specifically to include the phase “change your mind.”

That seems like wonderful progress. Right?

(Buzzer sound!) Wrong. Unfortunately, ALL of these new Christian definitions are nothing more than the adding of “change your mind” INTO the Fundamental-Christian definition of “repent.” “Change your mind by turning AWAY from sin.” “Change your mind and quit sinning.” “Change your mind from embracing sin and rejecting Christ to rejecting sin and embracing Christ.” “Change your mind and feel sorry for your sin.” (Hot off the presses)“A change of mind should result in a change of action.” (To clarify)“Change your mind by changing your sinful ways so that you can be saved.”

We are plagued with a thinking disorder. To the babbling Church, what’s been done for us on the cross will remain “a mystery” lost within its own babble, fed by... guess what? Our thinking disorder.

And, what, pray tell, within the Church, is the cause of ALL this disorder?

The Knowledge of Good & Evil.

The Church assesses everything in terms of “Good” and “Evil.” And, so, the Church (his Honor himself “the Judge”) is equally trapped within the problem. Stupefied as to what our true enemy is and ignorant as to what is seriously at stake.

Yes, Jesus, himself used those terms. “Good & Evil.” Do you know why? So that those, who still have the disease, especially those who accelerate IT — those Religiously-Bent by the mindset of “Good & Evil” — could even come close to understanding what it is that he is talking about. That we need to COMPLETELY change our way of thinking. (It is easier than you think, once you truly accept what’s been done for us on the cross.) If we ALL do exactly that, the Kingdom of Heaven will BE HERE on planet earth.

Here is another little nursery rhyme of Truth that we should have ALL taken absolutely seriously — the first day Jesus uttered his first Words to us.

The Kingdom of Heaven is NEAR, because Jesus is HERE…(to change our way of thinking).

Pray for Truth, so that you can understand what Jesus is talking about. Put aside the thinking-disorder-infected idea that we are caught in the middle of a battle of “Good versus Evil.” A more solid foundation to stand upon is “Light versus Darkness.” Which ultimately leads one into Reality — the absolute Truth (what we are caught-in-the-middle-of) and exactly what is at stake.

EVERYTHING versus NOTHING.

Shouting “Amen!” under the proud banner of Christianity is the equivalent of blind men yelling “Right on!” at the bottom of a ditch. We will not find the solution to our problem within any religious “belief” system. Because the solution is not religious.

The solution is entirely psychological.

MENTAL PROBLEM: We cannot get The Knowledge of Good & Evil out of our minds nor out of our way of thinking.

CURE: We need to change our minds. We need to change our way of thinking.
