Being a former Entertainer I taught Baptist Prmaries between 47 & 50, perfect training for a Baby Christian, no matter their age. Thus grounded I serve in the LORD's Army.

I was seventeen on January 25 of 1962, my mother was in Prison for her 12th turn, my sisters were in the local orphanage, my father was on Skid Row, and, my Stepfather, Dad, was drunk and scared I would see Combat, he had, and was POed with me for not finishing High School and joining the USAF.
On the 27th I was sworn into service with the US Army and for the next seven years and ten months I served my Nation as a flying Helicopter Crewchief, and Soldier, When I ETSed I did not become a former Cavalryman, I was just inactive.
In the fall of 1968, I was still pursuing my dream of becoming a famous CW Singer/Picker when Dollie released her cut of He's Alive. Every time that Number played on the radio or CMT I broke out in tears and could not control myself.
My best friend had been blown to pieces on 3 Nov, 1969, and at about seven, with the VC withdrawn, I found myself, a self-proclaimed Atheist, standing in the Company Street cursing the God I did not believe in. Then a still, quiet voice said, "Why curse me, you don't even believe. From that moment until some point in 11/1989, I was a Diest in search of the identity of God and at the point of conversion, 1/1/'90, I knew I would never blow Nashville away.
I remain an Inactive Cavalryman but have been an Active Soldier in Yehovah's Army since that first day of 1990, when Ruah, the Holy Spirit, assumed command and I welcomed Him home.

I assume there must be one Contiagous Christian that can engage in fruitful exchange?

Hey Mr. B -- look's like you have been here since 2010, but welcome!

I didn't se where you mentioned Christ, but mentioned baptism and baby Christians. Is Christ in you and you in Christ then?

Contiagous Christian?

I really don’t know what that is so I’m not going to assume that there must be one. I am curious though.

P.S.

Did you mean conscientious? Given the content of your post, I’m wondering if maybe you meant conscientious objector? I am a conscientious objector.

If that’s not what you meant then I’m back to square one.

I grew a lot in the Service and where ever I went folks would twist their tongues sideways to enunciate my German given name, Willis, and I found it a matter of great respect. In my latter years I learned that the Paleo-Hebrew names of the Father, the Son and, the Holy Spirit are, in order, Yehovah, Yashuah, and Ruah. When I mention being indwelt with Ruah, that is the Helper Yashuah promised, the answer is in the name you prefer is yes, Jesus saved me and none other.

I pray this helps.

I no longer write anything but a book and my right hand does not pick very well but I do build Kalimbas for children and HS Grads from exotic lumber.

On the grounds of the Messiah’s teaching.

None of whom are conscientious objectors.
You do realize that the Creator/Messiah is the Elohim of all of the scripture, right? It is Yashuah that sent David, Solomon and, all of the kings into war with their armies. And then there is the point that our Elohim never contradicts Himself. Couple that with the Bible is The Complete Book of Theology and no single nor any compilation of scripture can ever be properly understood without the light of all scripture shinning on it. Yashuah taught us to consider every other possibility first but to never give reason to be called a coward.

I’m a Jewish monotheist.

Do you think conscientious objectors are cowards?

Hmmmm, and Jesus instructed His disciples to buy a sword. Must have been just for adornment then.

Interesting. How many did they purchase? What did they do with them? Was Jesus pleased with the way they used them?

No, Jesus told them when the had "enough." But then, Peter used it when he should not because the action was in contradiction to God's plan for that event. Swords are meant for killing. There is no other reason to buy one, and Jesus had them buy one.
