1 Corinthians 11
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. 31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment. 32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.

There is nothing above about drunkeness in the passage. Its about discernment or the lack thereof while taking /participating in the Lords Supper. Its about examining our own hearts before the Lord before taking the communion with the saints.
1 Corinthians 11:21 For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

Is this a mistranslation and not in other translations?

I can discuss Philippians 3 also.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

What is forgetting those things behind, and reaching forth unto those things before?
Is this leaving behind evil report, dishonor, as deceivers, unknown, dying, chastened, sorrowful, poor, as having nothing …reaching forth to attain the Resurrection of Christ which is Life: honor, good report, yet true, yet well known (as Alive unto God), behold, we Live (the resurrection of Christ), chastened but not killed, yet always rejoicing, making many rich in Him, yet possessing all things.
2 Corinthians 6:7-10 reaching forward to the High calling of God.

I see a child, a birth, a transformation of one walking clean out of his own shoes, stripping his own clothing away to bare nakedness, coming out of evil report, evil report, dishonor, as deceivers, unknown, dying, chastened, sorrowful, poor, as having nothing…a trail put behind him….walking toward New and better things chastened but not killed, always rejoicing, not in what was left behind but what is forward possessing all things, of good report, Alive unto God.
Paul is talking about the future Resurrection with all the saints that has not been attained in his life and it is yet to come in the future. its plainly seen from the context of Philippians 3 in bold below.

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

17 Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. 18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

God does not judge you for taking communion with a wrong understanding or taking it and you didnt walk on water on the way to the cup.

There is a really foul teaching out there that says if you take the "C" incorrectly, God sends in the damnation.

Look.....here is how to understand it.

"many become sick because they do not discern the Lord's body". "correctly".

Let me paraphrase.

We take the communion correctly when we understand that the Cross has made us worthy to partake of the Lord.
And when we dont understand that we are made worthy, by the Cross, then we take communion wrongly, not discerning that the Lord's blood and body, is our very righteousness that we are celebrating reverently as "taking the Communion".

See that?

And many be sick, not by taking the Communion, unworthily, but because they dont understand that HEALTH is IN the Blood and Body of Jesus.

= "by Jesus's STRIPES we were HEALED"..
Exactly....we need to understand it is not a matter of carnal food and drink (common) like having lunch, but is a holy thing ordained of the Lord.......yes discerning His body....as we are remembering His death until He comes, we are to understand this is not ordinary bread and wine to ingest for the flesh, but represents the body and blood of Christ given for us.

No you are correct.
I get this is a lot and maybe considered going down a rabbit hole. To me though it helps clarify: one goes away drunk, another hungry. Someone told me to study by highlighting a word, a phrase …and what it means. To me “drunken” is discussed too many times to list every place. These are the passages I was taking about. If you are not interested then that is fine. But I’m posting them for clarification of what I shared without giving where I got the notion from.

Ezekiel 39:17-21 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God ; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. [18] You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. (He told them in the NT that who betrays Him will be on the table with Him.) [19] And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. [20] Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God. [21] And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

Revelation 19:13-21 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. [15] And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. [17] And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; [18] That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. [19] And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. [20] And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. [21] And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

It will be considered rabbits hole immediately if it is assumed what is called the fowls and beast are literal animals called to eat of the Supper, the Great Supper God sacrificed…instead of I will set My Glory among the heathen so they also will see there is no other God.

Its about examining our own hearts before the Lord before taking the communion with the saints.
Someone has told me. We don’t read the Word of God…The Word of God reads us. Every part. Where what we carry away —take away— our parts…from our reading reveals the true nature and intent of the heart. Where we lean and are drawn to. Agree examination before taking communion. But sometimes we can’t see our true nature or intent, without The Word revealing our intentions of the heart to bring those things hidden out into Light.

That is olde Englyshe wording. Here is the same verse from the NET Bible: For when it is time to eat, everyone proceeds with his own supper. One is hungry and another becomes drunk."

This is a prime example of why I prefer a modern translation, e.g., NET, NIV, NRSVue.

Ok becomes drunk.

prosperity preachers who promise if you deposit money in to them, the blessing is God will bless you with more money in return. Even if you only have a little to give sowing it into them, will multiply it? or your giving of money will heal that illness…
^do you think they are drunk? How did they go away from the Word of God ..becoming drunk…Promising to feed the body of Christ, but consuming others loss on their own lust?

Correct the "context " from Philippians 3 makes it clear what PAUL meant by not apprehending it yet.

This is the problem with "isolating" verses from their context as people can form any kind of wind of doctrine.
Yes and paul makes this very clear .
He says something . Look real closely at the letter . He already knew by which i am apprehended of Christ .
Paul had not yet attained to the END of his faith , the prize of what is to come .
He already attained salvation in Christ , but he knew something this generation has long forgotten .
Paul was working out his own salvation by keeping the FAITH IN CHRIST ALONE .
And its not a sin to remind folks we gotta continue in CHRIST to the end . That is what JESUS taught
and that is what the SPIRIT reminds the lambs daily and its what they remind the brethren to do .
You see every reminder , from warning to promise is GOOD FOR US . Its not like we are earning salvation
RATHER the SPIRIT is reminding us , TO CONTINUE IN HE WHO IS OUR SALVATION , to be hearers and doers OF HIS WORD .
cause GOD knows what is best for us . We would remind our own children , WELL GOD REMINDS HIS .
But the problem is certain teachings of men make it seem as though its not trusting in CHRIST
if we remind folks to continue in HIM . That my friend is not correct at all .
GOD simply knows what is best for us . Now let us heed the SPIRIT and the words inspired in that bible BY THE SPIRIT .
Every warning is for OUR GOOD . GOD KNOWS and HE KNOWS for SURE how to keep a man , a church safe .
My advice is , HEED ALL THE WARNINGS , HEED ALL REMINDERS . KNOWING that GOD is looking out for US .

Dont mind me , but i am quite direct about things . Them prosperity preachers DO NOT FOLLOW CHRIST
they love money and they know how to twist things to get people to GIVE . THEY dont seek the people
they seek what is THEIRS . I will expose every last one of them and their doctrine .
ON that note i will also expose the lie of the all inclusive social go spell lie from hell .
I do not pick and choose what sins to cover and what sins to expose . THIS LAMB gonna expose ALL SINS
and its why BOTH sides whether conservative or liberal , whether prosperity gospel or social gospel , hate me to the core .
THEY GONNA find common ground all right . Both sides already are finding a common ground LIE
under a love so false it will lead them all to the pits of perditon and destruction .
MY HOPE is not in men , not republican , not conservative , not liberal , not democractic
not false prosperity nor false love . ITS IN JESUS and we BETTER learn our bibles .
Cause i see a lot of delusion . A lot of delusoin going on round many places .

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
