Folks do you all realize what that means . If your love is money or etc , idolatry , coveteousness
GOD will allow you to be decieved by your own hearts lusts . I SEE this all over the prosperity gospel and others too .
We need to read deuteronomy chapter thirteen verses one through seven . THIS is allowed .
GOD is testing the peoples . The beast , his prophets can and will also decieve by dreams and visions .
BUT if what one is teaching is contrary to the WORD and words of GOD , ITS FALSE no matter if he can do miracles , signs or wonders .

Those who love would correct those in error .
Those who hate simply embrace the others sins and wont correct .
YE shall not hate your nieghbor in your heart , you shall in any way correct them , rebuke them and not allow sin UPON them
The usual nonsense!

1 Corinthians 13:4, "Love is patient, love is kind, it is not envious. Love does not brag, it is not puffed up." Constantly dwelling on the sins of others is not being patient and it is not being kind. It is puffing one's self up, indirectly bragging that "I am more righteous than you are".

It is acceptable to correct others -- but only if it is done in love. It is unacceptable to judge others, criticizing people whom you have never met, based on your own delusion of self-righteousness.

Again (and again): Jesus, repeating the Old Testament command from His Father, said to "love your neighbor as yourself". He didn't say to constantly judge them in the delusion of self-righteousness. => You are always exalting yourself above others <=

Don't you see the contradiction in this? Are you really that blind?

Love one another!!! It doesn't say to love only those who agree with your rigid doctrine. We should love Muslims, Buddhists and everyone else. It does not say to despise everyone who doesn't meet your (phony) religious standards! That is in direct opposition to what Jesus taught!

Beware of calling what Jesus taught "anti Christ"!!!

Paul is talking about the future Resurrection with all the saints that has not been attained in his life and it is yet to come in the future. its plainly seen from the context of Philippians 3 in bold below.

I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

17 Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. 18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

1 John 4

English Standard Version

Test the Spirits

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

God Is Love

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot[a] love God whom he has not seen.21 And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

You are completely wrong and very confused. In your religious bigotry you prefer war, hate, and violence to peace, I bet you miss the days of the crusades where people of other religions got to kill each other in the name of God.

But Jesus said...blessed are the peacemakers...love your enemies.

So you are following a different war loving, and hateful christ.

And you love to promote that false christ.

1. It isn't wrong to love others. It's better than hatred. Tolerance is better than intolerance (unless it involves holiness...which it does not). Do you think the Catholic church is holy? Are you Catholic? if not, what does it matter to you if the pope is friends with Muslims? Do you have any Muslim friends? If not..why not? Are you afraid to love your enemies?

2. The real division is within the respective religions. Islam has their radicals to deal with. And we have our own radicals to deal with (religious bigots such as yourself).

3. The kingdom of God is NOT a physical kingdom. So you are in the wrong realm...walking on the wrong path...using your own bigotry to hate and divide...not realizing you are just like any other religious zealot. There's no love in that scheme. It doesn't matter what nations do. If they all come together or all kill each other... it doesn't affect the kingdom of God at all. But people sure are exposed by what they promote.

You only have a carnal understanding...so then for you everything is physical...like the crusaders thought.

But Jesus said that the division He brings is within the same household. It is fellow "believers" that will persecute true believers. The "anti-Christ" will be a Christian (or a Jew)...not a Muslim. The world works its own way. But God's way is different. His way is not through politics...but through the Spirit.

4. Have you heard of the Holy Spirit? God doesn't work by political power or temporal might.

The gospel is not a political manifesto... based on physical violence. The kingdom of God is a higher order of love, joy and peace in the Spirit..that very few Christians know about. So few in fact that most are more cultural believers...not spiritual believers...who hate people of other cultures.

A true man of faith is not afraid of peace...he uses that peace to bring the gospel. There is NO gospel being preached if people are trying to physically kill each other. ...as you are promoting.

Its about examining our own hearts before the Lord before taking the communion with the saints.
Amen.

The Lord was gracious to help me better understand communion one day and why self examination is a vital part of the Lord's supper. Notice that the Israelites would eat what was sacrificed to the Lord in the temple in order for the sacrifice to be applied to them, for sins:

1Co 10:16-18

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

This is why many were offended when He talked about the need to eat His body and drink His blood....the people of that day knew what He was talking about, because everyone knew that the temple sacrifices needed to be eaten, and they mistakenly thought He was implying human sacrifice (of himself) in a pagan way, as well as cannibalism, and they were so offended by it because these were pagan practices.

When eat His body and drink His blood (by proxy, with bread and wine) we are applying His sacrifice to ourselves, to our sins, for forgiveness and cleansing. Eating and drinking it is HOW we are partaking of His altar/sacrifice. This is why we are to examine ourselves before eating and drinking, so that if any sins come to light we may repent and apply Jesus's sacrifice to ourselves afresh. It's a way of re-membering and re-freshing His sacrifice to us. Because He has ordained it so, there is power in it to overcome and cleanse from sin.....it is no empty ritual. This is why Jesus teaching to wash one another's feet, was part of the Lord's supper that day at Passover....because this is one way we wash our feet - through communion - even though we have already had the bath.

big·ot

noun
noun: bigot; plural noun: bigots
  1. a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.
"don't let a few small-minded bigots destroy the good image of the city"

Neither can we allow small minded bigots who call themselves believers to destroy the image of the gospel and the call to ALL PEOPLE to be reconciled to God who loves them.

This is Catholic dogma...not the truth of the matter. You make this sound "New Age."

We do not apply any sacrifice to ourselves. Jesus Christ is the lamb of God...not our Lamb. We do no applying His sacrifice to ourselves. That is self-righteousness at work.

So then it sounds like your practice is just one more opportunity for you to justify yourself based on your beliefs.

We are, rather, to remember Jesus in the Passover. When we partake of Communion we are to discern the Body. It is when people are actually spiritual in Christ that Jesus is present in the commemoration. All partake of One life and One Spirit.

In an ordinary gathering of modern believers there's no penalty based on holiness...since there is no holiness, or presence of God to transgress. Until people take the higher walk seriously...they will play in puddles and call that what they read about in the bible.
