Word play. I did not talk about when the Apostolic writings were complete. Everyone knows the Bible, such as we know it today, was not compiled until centuries after the last writings contained in it.

Therefore, Christians lived for centuries before the Bible was even compiled. According to your take, these Christians has no PURPOSE, since the Bible had not yet been compiled.

Of course they had a purpose, God never leaves Himself without witness sir. True, there seemed to be no Christians during the apostasy, but there were some, scattered though they may have been. How happy we are not since Jesus turned his attention to the earth after cleansing the heavens, gathering those scattered sheep once again. We are right here at harvest Wrangler, reaching nearly to the ends of the earth with the good news of the Kingdom of God. Jehovah has not yet said the work is through, He has not shut the door yet, but we know that event is very close sir.

Like you finished with Wrangler, we Christians do not rely on our own understanding, that is why we are educated at God's holy mountain.

Circular Reasoning. It doesn't matter where we acquire knowledge; it is secondary. 'Look at me everyone! I was educated at God's holy mountain.' No. It is not about you or your education. It's about advancing God's kingdom by his Spirit.

Clearly knowledge is your idol. You too embrace gnosticism! No one said knowledge or studying the Bible is unimportant. That is a Strawman argument.

The PURPOSE of Christianity is NOT to be a student of the Bible. You cannot simply agree with this simple statement.

I made my understanding clear Wrangler. All Christians are educated in God word, and we study regularly from infancy, progressing to maturity, and it does not stop there sir.

There was nothing to click on. Feel free to do your own research on the Great Commission.

I know you cannot let go of your idol so must connect WHAT (our purpose) with HOW (knowledge of the Bible). But this is a false god. If you are not let by the Spirit, you aren't fulfilling your purpose.

The WHAT is 2 Corinthians 5:18 (VOICE). All of this is a gift from our Creator God, who has pursued us and brought us into a restored and healthy relationship with Him through the Anointed. And He has given us the same mission, the ministry of reconciliation, to bring others back to Him.

Was it that hard to post that sir? Why didn't you post it first? You are correct, we have been assigned the ministry, to spread the good news to all nations before the end comes. Jesus phrased it this way, to teach others to observe all the things he commanded Mat 28:20. Do you feel that I am not participating in that work Wrangler?

Are we back to that again? All right, make no mistake Wrangler, all Christians are students of the Bible sir.
Always rationalizing a way to put being a Bible student on the table.

1st, it's not true as I already proved multiple times.

2nd, it's irrelevant if all are or not as the question is not statistical in nature. The question is about the PURPOSE of Christianity, which is NOT to be a student of the Bible.

If all "christians" on a forum were true students of the bible, then there would be no Catholics on it, no Hyper Calvinists, and noone who denies the Trinity.
There would be nonone on a forums who believes they can lose their salvation. There would be noone on a forum who believes they are lost and saved, lost and saved, lost and saved, and as long as they keep confessing sin they can't keep from being lost again.
There would be no redundant retarded endless braindead talk about "OSAS"., as everyone would understand that God keeps them saved the same way He saved them.

You debate silly stuff, the purpose of a Christian is to make disciples teaching them all the things Jesus commanded, from Jesus' own mouth. One who is uneducated cannot possibly do that, so we Christians are educated at God's house, at His mountain Isa 2:2,3 very well so we can go out and see to it they have the opportunity to come and be educated by Him too. You know that, but simply are straining the gnat and gulping the camel sir. You do understand that everlasting life for compass people is based on knowing our God and His son correct? Jn 17:3; 2 Thes 1:8

The key word in your post that I fully agree with Be is "Christians". Fruits identify sir, and teachings are the main fruit.

You say it is silly while also not being able to admit what the purpose is NOT. That’s silly!

Just told you again in plain English, if you disagree fine, but you said the same thing. Perhaps you might give some scriptural evidence as to what our purpose as Christ's disciples is Wrangler.
