I agree with you, Matt.I’m not interested in debating my belief but I’m open to discussing it.
There are few churches like mine anywhere in the world. Orthodoxy has crushed it for 1700 years.
My personal faith statement is that I believe in God and I also believe in Jesus of Nazareth. I take it from John 14:1.
I agree with you. The Father of our Lord did not die. --(I think that Oneness Pentecostal disagree.)The God whom I believe in - the God of the Jews - didn’t die and cannot die.
We agree that the Son of God died. (Mary's son & God's son)- Right?
I agree. I also worship God our Father and Christ.I worship the God of the Jews and I also worship the Messiah. It is the Messiah, not the God of the Jews, who died for my sins as a substitute in my place.
I agree- the Lord gave His life for our sins in our place.
A brother which the creeds of your theology assert is a heretic who isn’t saved and cannot be saved.
I think we can agree on the Apostles Creed. I am not a big creed person. Many churches don't have creeds. Like I've said - it is the end result that matters. And you and I have that.
HOWEVER- I find it very interesting that @Aunty Jane clicked like on your post above. HUH?
JWs do not worship Christ, NOR do they believe that He died as a substitute for our sins. They pay for their sins by dying. That is why I have nothing in common with them. There's plenty more as well, but I don't want to divert your thread.
She likely will not reply to me since she has shunned me ( her words) on here. Why? I made a thread that exposed the JW teaching of dying to pay for your own sins- and she did not like that I revealed what they teach and exposed it. I was not baptized a Jw- was raised in it. My family shuns me because of TWO things we have in common.
